Rewatching Little Mermaid..

and boy is it scary how much it reminds me of Jonsa.

Eric/Jon: a dark haired prince with a whiteish canine companion.

Ariel/Sansa: red haired & blue eyed princess, half fish/half tully, wants more in life than staying at home, a complicated relationship with a father who ends up failing her massively. Both Sansa and Ariel defy them (which they both deserve. Fuck Ned and Triton). A treacherous queen (Cersei/Ursula) takes advantage of the naivety of Ariel and Sansa.

That scene where Eric wakes up after the shipwreck and the sun shining behind Ariel face. Now that gives a whole new meaning to the term radiant.
