The fact that people don't think friendship is enough to justify characters doing insane acts of love for each other baffles me. Like have you never loved your friend so so much you want to live in their ribcage. Have you never been really weird about a friend. Have you never wanted to bite your friends parents or shove them down a staircase. Have you never wanted to be buried in the same grave as a friend. Have u never. How do u people live like this.

Sansa and Jon will, I believe, have similar arcs about learning what they want for themselves.

Jon thinks, because he has been told by society and outside forces, that he wants to be in the Nightswatch. He thinks from a young age that his place is at the Wall, and only when Stannis offers him Winterfell does he reflect and realize he wants what he has been told he doesn't want: to be Lord of Winterfell.

Sansa is on a similar journey, although I don't think she's come to the idea of being Lady of Winterfell just yet. She's been told through songs, tales, and society that she should want to be a Southron lady, even the Southern QUEEN. The idea of staying in the North feels absurd to her when all she wants is warm weather, rich food, and singers. But the façade of beauty that falls when she's trapped in King's Landing and the way she yearns for Winterfell in the Eryie, she's focused her attention back north to Winterfell and her home.

hate when people are always like "oh audiences don't want 22 episode seasons anymore they want shorter seasons and tighter storylines!" and then you look at the shorter season and it has multiple episodes longer than an hour, sometimes even rivaling or surpassing the average length of a marvel movie, with the worst pacing known to mankind and somehow everything is still rushed , and it's like actually ☝️ i would love a 22 episode season of 25 or 40 minute well-paced episodes with an arc that unfolds at a reasonable speed and suspense over the full season's runtime. which is probably the same damn length minutewise as your 10 episode crime against god at this point.
