How was it that both of the people he considered to be more than mere acquaintances read him like a book? He had fooled the most powerful wizard in the world, and yet these two had sniffed him out as soon as they’d walked out of the fireplace.
He’d had to explain himself again to Barty while Evan went to see what his Father wanted.
“I always knew you shagging James Potter would come back to bite me in the arse.” Barty had eloquently stated when Regulus had finished telling him what Dumbledore had tasked him with.
“I don’t understand?” Regulus was uncertain what Barty was getting at.
“Evan’s already agreed to help you, right?” Regulus nodded. Barty rolled his eyes. “Which means I’m gonna have to help you, which means I’ll be working for the Order of the Fucking Phoenix!”
Evan walked back in, looking angrier than he had when he left.
“My bloody Father says because I left the fight early, I now need to prove myself to Voldemort. Make sure it’s clear I’m loyal to the cause.” He slammed the door shut and stomped over to the bed, flinging himself down next to Barty.
Barty wiggled a hand free from his blanket cocoon and used it to gently massage Evans's scalp.
“Reg, mate. We’d better get started on this whole saving the world crap you’re into now because if we have to keep proving ourselves to that psychopath, we’re gonna all end up dead.” Barty said more seriously than Regulus had ever heard him.
“Bit rich that coming from you, Barty.” Evan chirped, trying to change the dark mood that had taken over his room.
“Hey, that pale fucker makes me look like a Hufflepuff first year!” Barty pouted, but the atmosphere lifted, and they all relaxed a bit.
The next few hours were very busy for the three young men. Together, they compiled all the useful information they each had and wrote it all in a small leather-bound notebook of Regulus’s. Regulus cast a charm over it so it couldn’t be read in case it fell into the wrong hands.
He stretched his stiff joints. Making them crack and groan.
“I’m going to go home now. I’ve had enough of looking at your ugly faces.”
“You’d jump at the chance to have you’re way with me, and don’t you forget it,” Barty said, making a kissy face at him. Evan hit him with a pillow.
“See you later, Regulus,” Evan said as he started tackling Barty, who was trying to emerge from his blankets to get to Regulus, a mad glint in his eye.
Regulus exited the bedroom hastily, refusing to be part of their weird foreplay.
The hallway was dark at this time of night. The shadows swallowed him as he moved along the carpeted floor. It was these same shadows that hid him when he heard someone ascending the stairs ahead of him.
He watched as a flash of red hair appeared at the top of the stairs and, with sure, well-practised steps, disappeared through a door on the left.
Regulus stared, shocked. What the fuck was Lily Evans doing sneaking into Pandora’s bedroom?

No. 6. — Passe (en entier); se faille également en linon, se soutient par des laitons et se recouvre comme le fond avec de la faille ou du satin. Ce morceau se rattache au fond à FGH.
