Increased rates of deaths in terminal patients has a police captain investigating the palliative care doctor with whom he's fallen in love. Their relationship deepens but the mystery persists, driven by mistrust.

Why? It's adapted from the novel Euthanasia by Sammon (Triage, Manner of Death) but more important, it stars some old guard BL actors: Tor Thanapob from Hormones as the doctor and (fuck me YES) Jaylerr from Great Men Academy and goddamn Grean Fictions as the captain!

2 Wandee Godday

GMMTV and AllThis Entertainment producing a very pulp offering with new pair, GreatInn doing high heat, boxer meets surgeon. It features a one night stand, fake relationship, and all the cheesiest of tropes. Also features Drake, Podd, and Thor+ pretty boy (be still my heart).

Why? This is totally my kind of BL even if it isn't GMMTV's style of BL, and it's GREAT, so I'm in.

3 The Next Prince (ZeeNew)

Domundi brings us more ZeeNew in a fantasy/historical set in a palace where Zee plays a knight and Nu a prince - YES PLEASE.

Why? I did not expect this pair to stick so I really hope this happens. Give us the Little Pink Riding Milk BL we deserve!

4 Lover Merman

Fantasy BL about a man who falls in love with a merman.

Why? I don't think it will be good but I LOVE merfolk.

5 Me and Who

Domundi for WeTV brings this adaptation of Wickedwish’s novel of the same name. It depicts a young man who dies and is reborn into the body of a billionaire heir. The heir happens to be engaged to a handsome man.

Why? I flipping LOVE this trope but I never expected to see it drive a BL.

10 I am cautious of but VERY intrigued

JAPAN'S Although I Love You and You AKA Sukiyanen Kedo Do Yaro ka

From YTV releasing 1/11 about Soga, who, after a divorce and relocation to Osaka, seeks solace in dining at 26-year-old Sakae's restaurant. Unbeknownst to Soga, Sakae sees him as more than just a regular customer.

TAIWAN's Love For Love's Sake

Based on the Manhwa Love Supremacy Zone by Hwacha, this will star actors Lee Tae Vin, Cha Jun Wan, Oh Min Su and Cha Woon Ki. The plot of the drama is based on Tae Myung Ha, a young man who is dropped into a game based off of a novel that he knows. His mission is to make another player, Cha Yeo Woon happy. Cha Yeo Woon is Myung-Has favourite character in the novel. But then the game starts going completely different from the novel.

City of Stars AKA Fueangnakorn

Star Hunter started filming this 12/23 about an actor falls in love with a programmer and the narrative intends to “explore the ramifications of being public figure in the social network era who must endure critics, bullying, and defamation.” Looks like another Lovely Writer, Call It What You Want sort of thing.

Paz is as many things but stupid was not one of them. Since Y/n first arrived to Pandora, the Colonel was smitten. Being head security of Hell’s Gate never gave him the chance to introduce himself like he wanted to. Paz never understood what he saw in Y/n, her being not only a scientist but Dr. Grace Augustine daughter, the woman that Quaritch despised.

Right before Quaritch could make conversation, it was already too late. Lyle had asked her on a date, one date became two, and soon they made it official. Lyle had introduced Y/n to his whole squad, Quaritch heart had ache that day, seeing Y/n kissing Lyle, sitting on his lap.

Paz was always jealous of her, Paz been Quaritch pilot since she arrived to Pandora, Y/n just arrived and manage to catch the stone cold Miles Quaritch heart within seconds.

Paz knew it wasn’t a coincidence seeing Quaritch at the bar, drinking away his agony.

Just a few hours earlier. The unit did a little party, many were drinking, talking, laughing. Paz was talking with Trudy and Zee when Lyle shouted for everyone’s attention. Paz didn’t know what was going on until Lyle took out a ring and got on his knee, asking Y/n to marry him. The look of pure joy on Y/n’s face was gorgeous, even Paz could t deny that; Y/n instantly said yes. Paz didn’t know what aptitude her to peer at the Colonel.

If anybody bothered to glance at Quaritch, they would’ve seen the heartache look on his face. Quaritch excused himself after that, and Paz follows him.

Paz let him talk it out as he drunkenly admitted his feeling towards Y/n, a few drinks later… Quaritch and Paz slept together.

Paz woke up the next morning, not seeing Quaritch anywhere, not even any evidence that he was there.

Quaritch felt guilty, he didn’t understand why he did if he wasn’t with Y/n. Quaritch avoided Paz like the plague, but it didn’t last long when two months later, Paz looked for him. Paz told him she was pregnant. With his child.

An arguement happened, Quaritch denies being the child father, while Paz says it is. With her pregnancy and hormones, her emotions are all over the place.

“I always loved you” Quaritch froze at her confession. “I have tried everything to get you to notice me, but I could never be her, could I?”

Quaritch heavily sighs through his nose. He didn’t know what to say, he never seen her as anything other than a fellow soldier.

If he remembers correctly that night, it wasn’t intimate or passionate, It rough. It was just to blow off steam, he even made her face away from him, he had his eyes closed the entire time thinking of a certain (h/c).

He didn’t even stay when he finished, he instantly left, didn’t cuddle her or do any aftercare, it was just sex. It was just to take his mind off the woman he loves but could never have. Quaritch pretty sure he moaned Y/n’s name.

“Did I ever had a chance?” Paz asks, her eyes gazing at Quaritch

“No. It would always be Y/n” he answers.

His words hurt her. She already knew the answer, but it still hurts her to hear it directly from his mouth.

1. Tilly Birds - เพื่อนเล่นไม่เล่นเพื่อน (Just Being Friendly) - My School President, Cutie Pie, Cupid's Last Wish

This is the song that started me on Thai music and I'm so happy for it. It's still probably my favorite song on this list. I love the original version, the MSP cover, NuNew's singing, but I especially love evil!Tilly Birds in Cupid's Last Wish when its the prelude to them getting lost.

2. NuNew and/or Zee - ใจรัก (LOVE) - Cutie Pie

Zee and NuNew both have amazing covers of this song (Zee's version) and with Just Being Friendly, this was I think the second song on my playlist. The actual scene in the show is one of the most excruciating scenes that I could barely sit through from second-hand embarrassment, and then Kuea sings it the next episode which is honestly kind of rubbing salt in the wound. But the song itself I love.

3. Dark Blue Kiss Opening Theme

I couldn't find a normal version of it without linking an episode, but this is genuinely my favorite opening sequence to a show, and it is one of the only ones that I will watch every time, even if I accidentally come upon it when trying to find a specific scene. Okay, I may be more obsessed with the video than the song itself, but the song definitely sets the tone. This opening is a roller coaster, starts dramatic, gets super cheesy, makes me laugh, but every time Kao comes on screen and a single tear rolls down his cheek I am instantly on the verge of tears.

4. Mix and Earth - ไม่ไกลหัวใจ (Closer) - Cupid's Last Wish

Though DBK has the best intro video, this is probably my favorite opening song to a show. Gets you in the mood for a fun lighthearted road trip to reverse a body swap. Honorary mention to their ATOTS Our Sky 2 song which I could not stop listening to and watching when it came out. I think the lyrics really capture the theme of the special. Yes I am putting 2 songs on this list spot.

5. ฟัง – SIN feat.โอม Cocktail - My School President

There's a lot of songs from MSP that could be on the list, but other than Just Being Friendly (which I am counting as a general BL song given how often it shows up) this is probably my most listened to song on the soundtrack.

6. Phai Phongsathon - คนบ้านเดียวกัน - Laws of Attraction

I was really trying to stick to 5ish main songs but then I remembered @recentadultburnout post about this song which appeared last episode and I have been listening to it a lot since then!
