I think him and Terror could get along well... only for a while though. Part 7 of Inside Out 2 Moments I’m obsessed with ( + Ennui x Anxiety moments I love)

the way this TORE ME UP INSIDE!

I’ve literally had an unexplainable bought of anxiety/depresison after this damn move and ya know what’s going through my head 24/7? THIS MOMENT.

Specifically the part where Joy realizes Anxiety is glitching out and goes ‘Anxiety?’ And then it just cuts to Anxiety crying. Then Joy going ‘You have to let her go’.

like FUCK MAN. It’s just. Anxiety so desperate to prove herself. Desperate to show she’s good enough. Caught in her own panic and worry. Tearing herself apart till the point she’s stuck in her own mind. Terrified to move. Terrified to let go. Terrified exactly as she is. Lordy when she starts crying I had such a visceral reaction in the theaters.

I DEFINITELY think Joy could have done better though. Like they give Riley’s sense of self a hug, but it’s confirmed by numerous people that it was ANXIETY having the Panic attack. Riley had it because of Anxiety. But yet I didn’t see a SINGLE emotion give Anxiety a hug. Or tell her it’s gonna be okay. Really wish I would have seen that. But I was over the moon with how they fully accepted and cared for her at the end.

The music hit so hard in this moment too. You don’t realize it at first. But Anxiety has this theme song play in the background any time she’s subtly amping up the anxious thoughts. And the silence + rapid beeping just. It makes this moment so much more intense
