As an OG Inside Out fan, seeing the ship bait in the film was kinda funny considering the old Starnerve v. Disear feud, and like... gee, everyone got shipped with Sadness. Do I even remember most of the ship names?

Joyness: Joy/Sadness

Tearbrick: Sadness/Anger

Feanger: Fear/Anger

Disear: Disgust/Fear

Brickcoli: Anger/Disgust

Brickstar: Anger/Joy

Lemon Lime: Joy/Disgust

Starnerve: Joy/Fear

I know Sadness/Fear was shipped a bit but I cannot for the life of me remember that ship's name. Nor do I remember Disgust/Sadness :') I wonder if anyone else remembers.

Now we have Embarrassment/Sadness ship bait, which I'm honestly all for. I used to ship her with an OC. Fear/Anxiety was pushed too, but I'm kinda meh on that. The Fear and Disgust recasting really put a damper on their new scenes, and thus made their interactions with the other characters slightly less engaging. Brickstar got even more content than it already had (I should do an analysis of that 😅) And Disgust got to simp over a video game character, so, good for her 😅
