So this may be an odd ask, but if you could pick a real-world culture to be the basis of a Fire emblem nation in a future game, which ones would they be?

Given what Fodlan did to Almyra...

I mean, we're on par with "Verdane was inspired by Persia" from Jugdral, and we're not in the early 1990s anymore, so I'm not really trusting IS with any "real world culture" anymore.

But for some sort of revenge bias - after Almyra and TS, well, Hyzante - I'd like to see IS, try to get designs and clues from the Middle East, but without the 1800s bias that ultimately created Almyra.

I know FE isn't like, an Assassin's Creed game so you can't explore "real world cultures" that much, but if they could just take inspiration for clothes and designs from one "real world" place without slapping obvious prejudices it'd be nice.

Some units will cost renown after your initial play through. Renown is very difficult to earn and you don’t get a whole lot of it, so I advise against spending it. Swapping out your units from battle to battle is VERY important. Maya refers to Raphael’s sister as that’s her name. Acheron is from House Phlegethon and you have to defeat him. Viscount Siward is a generic npc. GATEKEEPER HAS MORE SIBLINGS THAN JUST HIS TWIN BROTHER AND WAS IN THE CHURCH BAND AND RAN AWAY FROM HOME! YURI WANTS TO GO ON A DATE WITH SYLVAIN WHO MADE FELIX BLUSH! Yuri is stunning. Emile wants to protect Mercie. Judith does if you don’t recruit Byleth. Jeralt says Byleth is just like Sitri. The writers could've had Shahid be just as well versed for war and tactics as Claude. He could've been vengeful. Angry. Instead of air-headed and leading a starving army to die at Fodlan's Locket for the second time in two years. They could've given us lore through him about Almyran education and customs and ideals that were less obvious with Claude, being raised outside of the usual royal custom by a Fodlani mother as he was. Shahid could've had love or hate of his brother, whose whereabouts he discovered or inferred or suspected, instead of being uselessly shocked by Claude's presence.

So I'm stealing the ambitious brat. He's mine now and he's short-sighted but not a caricature of himself.
