i love that some parts of fire emblem are like "hey remember that time Frederick put a commissioned propaganda piece of prince Chrom naked around the Shepherds army camp? that's so silly" and others are like "hey remember when Sigurd got incinerated alive in the home of his murdered friend while his wife and the mother of his child watched and had no memory of him" like isn't that so. ._.

Like I understand Mother 3 but why hasn't Nintendo released Fire Emblem: Genealogy in the US yet?? That's the one I'm most interested in out of all the FE games.

Day Breaks is probably one of the most reviled chapters in Path of Radiance both because it’s so long and because the enemy density and reinforcement locations (especially in part 3) are borderline unreasonable but from a design perspective it’s a pretty decent map because despite its difficulty it still lets you save in between each part and the payoff for making it through the longest single chapter in post-GotHW FE is well worth it because you can now

nearly kill *l*v*r

finally promote Ike (and probably a bunch of other units from the amount of obtainable exp in Day Breaks)

get arguably the best dancer the series has ever seen

have a slow, bulky unit learn Adept

leave Bengion and its (mostly) insufferable populace behind

start playing maps with Crimea Attacks as the bgm

begin to strike back against Daein, starting the build-up to the climax of the game

I might be of an unpopular opinion, but if they make a geneaolgy remake, I don't want a MU in the story line. I was never liked any of the MUs FE introduced so far, and I feel adding one to GotHW might ruin the flow for me. Idk, but I just don't think a MU is necessary for the game where there's already such great characters to follow along with. -Cursed Lyon

tbh same though i mean... i think id be fine with it if they gave us a mu that was... less significant to the plot and treated more like a normal unit but id prefer if they kept the story line the same so...!

Me and Friend playing Advance Wars earlier

Friend: What if in the future Intelligent Systems told us they were going to make the best new game for either a new Fire Emblem or Advance Wars but they can only do so for one of the series?

Me: Depends on the design of each game I guess.

Friend: Fire Emblem game would similar to classic FE titles such as GotHW or Advance Wars 5 similar to the first three titles.

Lewyn/Levin

Oh my god, exams are finally over... And I don't think I messed up that bad.

For Lewyn, I tried a somewhat minimalistic art style (aaaand I was too lazy to, well, get more detailed n’ stuff). It looks weird at first, but it's okay I guess. I also started a new kind of project after visiting the ComicCon which got me into thinking that this would be a good idea (joke’s on me; it isn't especially without any good references).
