I just found this blog from a random post from ~2016 mentioning Raven/Trigon, so I'm VERY late to the party, but I just wanted to say that it's such an underrated ship, and there's so much evidence for it in the comics. There's multiple scenes of Raven having nightmares where she's naked in front of Trigon, Trigon is just generally obsessed with her and says things about claiming her as his and instilling her with his essence, and there's even a scene where a character insinuates that if Raven goes with Trigon like he wants her to Trigon is going to rape her. I wish more people shipped it!! There's so much to go off of in canon but there's hardly anyone posting or writing about it.

So I watched this the other day and it is... fascinating. It's also really reinforced my existing belief that I cannot be the one to write the essay I theorized at top.

There were two things I came away wanting more of. One of them was that I felt there was a missed opportunity to explore the ways in which being pulled into the US military industrial complex, which chews up and spits out black and brown kids from poor neighborhoods, impacted Killmonger's behavior. The other, which was a greater exploration of his misogyny and related failures, is a topic that I then found out FD Signifier had spent so many videos covering, under the umbrella of 'the black manosphere,' that I imagine a lot of what I wanted to hear more about is actually covered in the other videos I haven't gotten to yet.

It does change some of how I think about the interplay of Killmonger's misogyny with respect to his politics on race, as something that is not 'a personal flaw, unrelated to his politics' but rather 'a commentary on the way this kind of gender dynamic has been in many movements of this nature for decades,' and I guess turns it into something much less... IDK. I wouldn't label him as 'misunderstand' anymore, at least. Not sure what it would be, though.

Ultimately, though, that hypothetical essay I talked about would be more about audience reactions than the characters themselves, so... who knows! Still not something I should be writing, though.

(That said, I disagree with a big portion of FD Signifier's opinions on the RPattz Batman movie in one of his other videos, lol. He does at least say that he's not super familiar with Batman lore, so that explains why.)

Somewhere out there is an essay about superhero movies where villains co-opt, misuse, or even just misunderstand the language of the left to push methods and goals that are incompatible with the actual theory of the left, but that sound Right And Good to viewers who aren't thinking it through entirely. And the essay is not just about how they compare to each other, but how they are a litmus test for viewers to know how susceptible they are to propaganda.

Co-opt: Most obvious example and the inspiration for this post is the Riddler in Batman (2020, the one with RPatt). The Riddler recites leftist rhetoric about corruption, wealth hoarding, and redistribution, but his actual actions and goals are unrelated. He's an accelerationist who's more interested in tearing down a system that didn't benefit HIM than in actually rectifying the problems, and who cares if a few kids get traumatized or even killed along the way?

Misuse: Easy mode, this one's Thanos. He talks about ensuring there's enough for everyone to eat, but like. Bro.

Misunderstand: Erik Killmonger, who has the benefit of both some incredibly legitimate grievances and a pretty face, but also kind of fails at the idea of intersectionality, proportionality, or Start With Words Before You Escalate. He's the easiest to sympathize with, because he has some really good points and ultimately does appear to be legitimately pursuing those goals... but he's also a misogynist, jumped to international terrorism before "call up my cousin who doesn't know I exist," and there's something in there about the role played by his time in the US military, which gave him emotional trauma, head trauma, and a sincere belief in the validity of US-style insurgency operations based on hostile takeovers of inconvenient countries. He's charming and pretty and sincere... he's just also, in many ways, wrong. And the parts where he's right makes it easy to try to ignore the bits where he's wrong if you're predisposed to like him and prefer some absolutism.

Anyway, yeah, there are definitely other examples, but the ones that were suggested to me didn't quite vibe with the base idea (Mysterio and Vulture both had disgruntled union moments in the MCU, but they left those roots so quickly that I don't think the concept of using leftist rhetoric as cover/justification for the crimes really applies since, they very quickly shift gears into revenge and greed respectively).

How do you fuse Ends? I know the answer is by collapsing them, that 2Ends collapse to the midpoint line, and that this must be inherent in experience because then what you experience is visible from above or from some other perspective which is not you, as the collapsing of 2Ends in Triangular to 1, meaning a literal counting of 2fD, and thus of a grid square. Oh, so it’s at this level that we get basic counting of grid squares as grid squares, and that is thus available when each bT generates 3fD, that 13 again.

So the reason the speculation is that G13 is the actual limit within Graham’s number is that mechanically what was described above is D13. The first statement, that there is a grid square becomes 10 because the attached 3 becomes 9, and that intermediate step is the 10. The coolness of this answer is that this slides the 10 to where it is needed. As in, it’s behind or within any square, which thus has the count potential of SBE3. So this structure means each number has within it this 10 count, in which each number has within it this 10 count, etc.

This kind of iteration is why the G64 makes sense. But first, D13 becomes G13 by stating each layer contains that form of dimensional counting. That is, D-structure simplifies into straightforward integers, but that simplification has a complicated structure attached.

That brings me back to a barely remembered point reached many years ago, that 64 is 2^SBE squared. That is becoming an image of a line, a dividing 1-0Segment, which thus generates and reflects the attached fD it divides, times another line, so they divide up the square by flipping into 2 HG over the space - into 4 triangles, but this can be idealized into alternating views in Triangular ‘behind’ the gs appearance. Because gs are constructed. Yes, I’m trying to keep that in mind.

It took a huge amount of work to reach the ability to understand this form of DC&R. I’m still grasping it. Like I see the question behind Graham’s number as being 0//0 until it must reach a 1//0 or 0//1, meaning what reads as a complete graph of a color. This imposes a gs limit into the uncountable of 0//0.

That is super cool.

Oh, I just realized I’m using grid squares when I mostly mean grid boxes being counted as grid squares. Why can I see that now? Mechanically, I realized that in the formulation of the problem (Graham-Rothschild Theorem), I missed that m is 1 and n is 2. Not sure why, but this says to me that we’re looking for 1 occurrence, given that we count from 1 to 1.

I’m trying to be fearless, but this area is brand new to me and I worry about making a mistake. But when I read words like, ‘describes the vertices of an n-dimensional hypercube, ever two of which form a combinatorial line’, then I’m looking at the work we’ve done. That is what Ends and 1-0Segments represent.

The more I work this, the truer it gets. It looks like combinatorics proves this aspect of grid squares, that the count of 1 over I//I is finite.

I want to say it goes to D13 because that enables D12, which enables the fusion of these hypercubes or whatever you want to call them, which we describe using 1-0Segments (and their attributes) which forms the Extent and other forms of a line, like the collapsed to midpoint line which we generate in I//I. Oh, wow, that material just popped into view. Very exciting!

So, fusion occurs through Recombinance within a higher Layer in the D-structure, as that structure is defined to enable the degree of Recombinance necessary. As in, D12.

Oh, I can see the humor in the combination of Graham’s number, where we know the last digits but not the initial ones (because they’ve beyond the reach of time in this universe), and The Simpson’s joke about Fermat’s last theorem being true for being exponents as long as you don’t look at the last digits.

I wanted to do inktober but like...I can’t draw??? So I figured I could write sentences instead since I can’t write too much (getting a lot of headaches, lately) and maybe that would be okay. Hope this sounds good!

Aside from soft!Buck, SEAL!Buck is also my kink so have this developing AU series in my head. No guarantee that I’ll ever post a completed fic but I have these list of characters from other fandoms who I casted for Charlie Team (Buck’s SEAL Team)  that I’d like to share. Please note though that except Steve McGarrett, none of the other characters are SEALs in their respective canon.  Also as I’ve learned from watching H50, SEALs have crazy nicknames. LCDR Steve 'Smooth Dog' McGarrett (Alex O’Laughlin) - CO of Charlie Team. After the team disbanded in 2017, he relocated to Hawaii and joined the Five-O task force as a military consultant. Mayhem(Buck) and Mischief(Stiles) would at times jokingly call him Dad, the others call him Commander or McGarrett. Buck and Stiles would periodically visit him in Hawaii. He is married to Detective Danny Williams and lives in a oceanfront property with his husband and stepdaughter, Grace.

Master Chief Daniel 'Hondo' Harrelson, Jr. (Sheemar Moore) Leader of Charlie Team. After the team disbanded, he went back home to LA and joined a SWAT team, and later becoming a team lead for a SWAT team with the rank of Sergeant. Upon learning that Mayhem is also in LA he tried recruiting him to join SWAT but Buck always dreamed to be a firefighter so he joined LAFD instead. In the series I’m developing in my head, Hondo is the brother Buck often turns to because he is the closest. He acts like a big brother to Buck and feels like he is responsible for keeping him safe.

Senior Chief Luke ‘Cool Hand’ Alvez (Adam Rodriguez) - Point Man; Sniper Two; Cool Hand is because he is an expert at poker, and very good at bluffing. He is married to a Tech Analyst in the FBI. After putting in his twenty years in the Navy, he joined the FBI fugitive task force before joining the BAU. He was the only one married in the team while they were in the service. He is married to Penelope Garcia-Alvez (circa CM s8 after Garcia broke up with Kevin) it was  2012 when Mischief and Mayhem got the team so wasted. He woke up married to her but they got deployed 18 hours after. He told Penelope that they'd get divorced when he get back but they never got around to signing the papers over the year. Then he showed up as the new member of the BAU. Being in the FBI, Luke is to Stiles like Hondo is to Buck. Luke looks out for Stiles since they work on the same agency.

Call sign: Charlie Two; Sierra Two (when acting as a sniper)

SWO1 Dean 'Huntsman' Winchester (Jensen Ackles) - Team Assaulter. He is   the weapons, vehicles, and close combat expert.  He likes pies and driving. He is fluent in Latin and Greek not that they have much use for it. Surprisingly despite having flown numerous time on cargo planes and having to HALO or HAHO into enemy territory countless of times, Dean is still a nervous flier but only when flying comercial airlines. That’s why the only time he went to Hawaii to visit their CO he has to catch a ride on military transport. After the team disbanded, he became a College Professor of Folklore at a liberal arts college in Kansas. He lives in a Bunker that his grandfather owns. Lives mostly off grid. He initially joined the Military to take care of his little brother, Sam. He supported Sam through College and Law School, now Sam is working as a prosecutor in the DA’s office in LA. He has a steady relationship with a cop, Detective Benny Lafitte.

LT Nico 'Lt Nightingale' Kim (Alex Landi) - Team Medic, but is an actual doctor. Nightingale is a light jab at him being an overqualified medic. He is also the Team’s tech expert. He often jokes around that just because he’s Asian doesn’t mean he has to also be the resident tech specialist. He often tells the team that being incharge of the team going home in one piece is a big enough of a conttribution he shouldn’t be expected to do anything else (he doesn’t  mean it of  course, he  just likes to grumble).  Sometimes he’d channel Doctor McCoy of Star Trek and say “Damnit, I’m a doctor not a xxx!” He is an Ortho surgeon and openly gay currently in a relationship with another doctor, Levi Schmitt.

SWO1 Paul 'Gumshoe' Strickland (Brian Micheal Smith) - Team's resident Detective and a history expert. He is the expert on silent breech and acts as Medic Two. He is also the handler of military K9 Gumdrop. After the team disbanded he joined the Chicago FD and later transferred to Austin at Station 126. He is FtM transgender (I know, there’s a trans ban in the actual military but not in my fictional universe), he found real brotherhood with Charlie because they care about him and not his assigned gender at birth.

SWO2 Mieczysław 'Stiles' 'Mischief' Stilinski (Dylan O’Brien) - Chemist, Bomb and explosive breech expert. Also some kind of magic, which is a very secret hush-hush thing that only the team knows about. He also functions as a medic at times and often uses healing runes to assist Nico.  After getting discharged he joins Luke at the FBI fugitive task force but when Luke transferred to BAU he transferred newly reformed IRT  (International Response Team).  He is in a throuple with Lydia Martin, who is mathemathics professor at  Georgetown, and Jackson Whittemore, a California congressman. They all lived together in DC.

SWO2 Evan 'Buck' 'Mayhem' Buckley (Oliver Stark) - Sniper One, team's resident expert long distace shooter. He is also the team’s radio communications expert, and is fluent in nine languages (English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Pashto, Tagalog,  Korean, Italian, and Mende) and conversant in five other (Urdu, Hausa, Mandarin, Russian, and German) languages. He was honorably discharged after serving his eight-year contract on May 2017.  He attended the LAFD fire academy soon after and joined 118 Decemeber 2017.

idk why vampires in the DCU always surprise me when like.... andrew bennett rlly is Right There fjkdsla;fjd;a i think its the dissonance i have bc Vampires were a big special interest of mine when I started slowly falling out of my Twilight phase (& me n dad were binging all of the vamp movies that we could get our hands on lmao yall it was SO MUCH. this is why i am the way i am) it just feels weird to have like!!! a thing i was rlly into show up randomly in comics/shows when im not expecting them like!!!!!!

anyways yea! idk. i dont think i'd really want to see any character become a vamp longterm/permanently... just bc it would feel like. really gimmicky no matter what lmao

altho.......... okay..... if we're talking strictly AUs.... i might be tempted to throw in vamp!Cass into my Zombie Robins AU jfklas; but even then im like :T bc im going a more sciency than fantastical/mystical route. either way.

Vampire!Batfamily AU seems to be a semi-popular AU at least w/ artists (bc lbrhh, vamps are at least 80% aesthetics and 15% romanticism. and 5% inherent homoeroticism), so i wouldn't mind trying to put my own spin on it, so like :eyes emoji: i just need a nudge

Crossover-wise i think it would be really fun to do a Night Force/What We Do In The Shadows one, lmao, just the kids like, randomly crashing into Guillermo and being like "so this guy totally works for vamps right? right." and then Shenanigans Ensue as they pester Nandor Lazlo and Nadja fjdakls;fd in general tho, iirc i listened vamps as one of the 'monster villain of the week' types that the kids fight bc they absolutely need to go down the list of Classic Movie Monsters™

but yea \o/ love the idea of like, Monster AUs and of self-indulgent crossovers, but i wouldnt want to see a Super become a vamp just like... randomly fjdkal not my thing

The 'too bad for Bart/Nora fans Nora Allen is looking like a lesbian' message reminded me of a weird... IDK if trope's the right word because I haven't really seen it, just headcanons. But the idea is of a bisexual character who has essentially decided, for ex, "my brother is the only man I'll ever be with." But until that happens (or even in addition, if poly/as a cover), she'll date girls. IDK maybe it's offensive but for me it's a way to ship even when canon sexualities don't match up.

Yes, I’ve seen this headcanon before. One example coming to mind is Ryan and Sharpay, where I’ve seen that in commentary before, even from non-shippers. 

I don’t know much about Nora specifically but that does seem like one way to possibly headcanon it or look at it.

Not at the moment sadly. I never read the comics as a kid ( though i did watch The Batman cartoon and watched the animated movies and as you know am crazy for batfam dynamics lmao) I feel like I don't know enough about the characters and world to make them? As I mostly was into Marvel until like I found the batman cartoons. Most of my knowledge of the Robins acutally comes from tumblr ;;; so I worry maybe I won't do them justice in writing? But I would absolutely make a bat kiddo or even a Justice League/Young Justice ( but based more on the cartoon probs bc that was My Jam lol) oc if I thought I could pull it off ;;

However, I do have one plot bunny for Arrow ( a sister for William Clayton! Because Ollie my beloved) because after breaking up with it over the Cupid story line ( the ableism...it..it hurt me pretty bad bc it went for my specific brain thing -that being bpd/attachment issues- and I wasn't able to really...look at anything from the show that wasn't Oliver and Thea for...since then oof) @randomestfandoms-ocs Ivy Knight sorta stole my entire freakin heart and in doing so rekindled a lot of the positive feelings i had for the show! Like it's been really cool I love her so much and it's made me remember the characters I love and just how much I loved them before that plot line and to enjoy those parts again! And specially when she's a part of it. So do a lot of the dc ocs I see when I look through the tags! I really love seeing everything everyone comes up with. So there's defo a posibility of Arrow ocs in the future, just..it'll probably take a while but I'm more than happy simping for my friends ocs and encouraging them in the meantime lol.

As far as DC In General is concerned I also absolutely loved Smallville and was telling a friend if I did a rewatch I would probably come up with an OC and someone to protect Connor and Tess and before starting Arrow I watched a bit of Flash and Supergirl, the latter in particular i really liked so it's a total possibility that I come up with ocs for them in the future too! And of course I have Gothan in my watchlist so who knows what could come from there :o
