Unglaubliches Video und eine umfassbare Geschichte. Für mich ein absoluter Held. Seine unendliche Positivität hat mir damals geholfen, als mein Dad die Diagnose "Schweren Hautkrebs" bekam. Er hat mir geholfen trotzdem nach vorne zu schauen und weiterhin daran zu glauben. In jeder Hinsicht ein großes Vorbild mit einem noch größeren Herz für andere Menschen!

Thankfully, Andrew Lee's pain is no more. Yesterday, at 7:15pm Easter Sunday evening, Andrew passed away peacefully surrounded by family & friends at NIH. On May 15th, 2015, Andrew was diagnosed with stage 4 rare kidney cancer known as HLRCC. He was told he had 6 months to a year to live. Facing a rare cancer with no known cure, he built Driven To Cure along with the help of his brother Tommy Lee, his family and with many of his friends in order to raise awareness about rare kidney cancers like HLRCC. Wanting to help others, Andrew also volunteered for 7+ different clinical trials while working on Driven To Cure. $450,000 has now been raised for research. Andrew's last wish was to donate his tissue and kidney to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to further the research of rare kidney cancers like HLRCC. Andrew is helping people even after his life has come to an end. Andrew, your Mom, Dad, Brother and all your family and friends are very proud of you. We love you with all our hearts. I met Andrew at SEMA 2016 and it was the highlight of my trip. As someone with severe chronic health issues I really felt close to Andrew even though I didn't really know him. I did end up talking to his dad a bunch through Facebook. His whole family is incredible and it sucks to lose such an awesome person. RIP Andrew, you will be sorely missed.
