Leta: Newt!

*Newt half  Falls half jumps from a tree*

Newt with sticks in his hair: No worries

Newt: Yeah there's one I think he's the runt he doesn't have good coloring or spikes

Newt: Well he doesn't have spikes but the other ones did.

 Leta: *shakes her head and produces a vial from her bag* You're lucky my dittany grows so well...

7th year

Leta is preparing for a night that should have been happy, a night out with a friend, her best friend. But Grindelwald’s orders to bring Newt to the woods hung all around like a thick coat.

“I need Newt”

“Bring him to me!”

“Bring me-

Newt: I don't mean to rush you I just 

Newt:  I just I wanted to ask you something before we left... do you want to to go to Hogsmeade with me

Leta: I don't understand I thought we were going together like always.

Ethan had almost forgotten about the champagne deal they had. Or at least that himself said he would bring it to him. He got a box with four bottles for the man deciding to pay him a visit. He was in a shirt and carried the box in his arm as he headed underground to the doctor. “Thought I would come by with these already” Though his big smile faded as he noticed Humphrey wasn’t alone. He fell quiet, as he had disturbed an important meeting. “I didn’t know you were occupied...” @mrethan-burke

Humphrey’s face was clearly distressed. His hands scratching apprehensively at his brow while two other men clad in dark uniforms. Shaved heads. Lounged across from his desk in his provided chairs. Their voices were rough and bellowing while Humphrey’s tried to push reason into the equations. But when the door opened and Ethan halted. Everyone’s head popped up and Humphrey’s gaze turned stressed into fear. 

The other men didn’t seem very enthralled with his entrance either, but the towhead shrugged to his partner. As if they were legimens, they understood each other wordlessly. Standing up in sync and the jet haired dark suit, leaned against Humphrey’s desk, looming over Humphrey himself. Making the doctor  appear small, but his cold gaze pierced right back into the threatening man. He didn’t shift, and he forced himself to breathe calmly. 

“You better have it tonight”, the goon hissed before both males shoved past Ethan roughly. The blondy purposely flicking the bottles in a weak attempt to shake them from his grasp. But once the door shut, Humphrey shut his eyes and exhaled. 

“Christ..”, he muttered, rubbing his face before he finally acknowledged Ethan. His misty eyes were tired but they shined when they were treated to witness him again. He pursed his lips,

“Now, you don’t look broken?’, he sent him a very short smirk. Before his lips fell as usual, his gaze back on the papers in front of him. He shuffled them together to shove into the drawer underneath with a frustrated grunt. He was in deep shit, if he didn’t get some money back. He suppliers were most definitely not pleased with him.  But seeing a familiar face, and one he adored at that caused his muscles to relax, only ever so slightly.

“How are you feeling Ethan?”, he finally said, getting up to actually say a proper hello. Helping him with the bottles, chuckling, “ why, i see you kept to your promise”, and with that he gave him a soft and much yearned peck on the cheek.
