At first you were really shy and reserved

But with time you started getting along more

Newt is still a bit of an introvert even after years of knowing you

Nonetheless, he trusts you entirely and feels really comfortable around you

This doesn’t happen to him often, as he mostly feels that way around his creatures

And talking of which, after he trusts you enough, he introduces you to his creatures

They adore you from the very beginning

Newt is both very impressed and very endeared by this

Especially noticing how quickly you grow fond of them as well

You help him look after them and feeding them

Even though you and Newt are close, he’s extremely shy

There are displays of affection, but very small and chaste

And pretty subtle and discrete

Like holding hands

Or small kisses on the lips or the cheek

But there’s a lot of cuddling

And small gestures that silently show affection

Llike a hand on the arm or silent glances or smiles

There’s a lot of these, and they are really subtle

Newt often gets really immersed in things

So you have to look after him because he forgets to do it himself

Reminding him to eat or drink something or go to sleep

In return, he always looks after you as well

And he’s really protective about you

You two talk a lot

Mostly about trivial things

Not to the point of rambling 

Bt you also like to solve things through communication

You agree most of the time anyway

He gets flustered, awkward, insecure or embarrassed often

So you reassure him immediately

Perhaps even kindly tease him a bit to get him to smile a little

He’s always telling you how much he appreciates you

That you’re so loving, patient and understanding

And always has little details to thank you

The both of you don’t hug too often

Only when you have to say goodbye or need comfort

Helping him with his book and living adventures together while gathering more info about creatures

The two of you are just so caring, loving and thoughtful towards the other

And having a limp:

He helps you with it in any way he can

Often he lets you lean on him 

Especially if you happen to be walking and it really starts hurting

You usually link your arm with his when you go anywhere

From time to time he’ll gingerly wrap an arm around you to help you walk

He always makes sure you don’t strain yourself 

And that you don’t make any unnecessary efforts

He doesn’t let you carry heavy stuff

You bet Newt’s gonna carry it for you

As soon as he sees you, he’s gonna hurry your way mumbling a gentle comment

“You shouldn’t be carrying this much weight, Y/N”

Newt just cares a lot and always keeps your limp in mind

He will massage your bad leg if it’s giving you a bad time

He gets really worried!

Will gently scold you because he wants you to take care of yourself

Hi! I wouldn’t have a problem to write it at all! :) Like I say in my rules, I’m up to write for female x female and anything different from my usual female reader x male character even if I have no experience writing for it :P
