Anyway Momma Fayanalla and Baby Vallenas (a play on 'Vallas', which is DALISH for 'Sun').

He's born after Cory's defeat. Faya didn't know she was about 3 months pregnant during the final battle - everyone thought she was working herself to illness for the Inquisition and finding Solas after he disappears. Cole is the one who told her she was pregnant by going 'Ma'am please eat, the baby in your belly is hurting'

Anyway I'm glad I was able to push this out, I've been feeling so demotivated and creatively dead.

She stuck with Morrigan a lot, isolated in the mountains of the Avvar, and learned a lot of weird shit.

hey! this is chance & here’s this week’s prompt. pick one of your ocs. how would they react if they suddenly appeared right next to you, in the modern world? what would happen?

Okay I'm going pick two fantasy characters: my Mage Inquisitor, Fayanalla, and my ranger/beast master TAV, So'vriel.

Because they would both flip the fuck out and try to strangle an answer from me until they were satisfied and believe they're in another world.

Afterwards, Fayanalla would absolutely be all over everything, trying to learn technology, figure out if we have magic, how do things work, what's this food, where can I read about your history, oh god you don't have ELVES???

So'vriel.... My dear Vriel....

Vriel is a dumb bag of bricks with an INT of 7 that wouldn't really get it but would absolutely just sit at my kitchen table and vibe while munching food and talking to my cats, until she gets bored and finds out we have alligators down the road and try to bring one home.

hey! this is chance & here’s week 2's prompt. when you write or create an oc, do you like to reference elements from your life? if yes, name a few. if no, why not?

Ya know.

I was reading this and went 'Well obviously I do that, doesn't everyone?' and had to think about it and it made me realize that I.. do tend to push a lot of my trauma, my insecurities, and my desires of self onto my OCs, and then they end up being angsty badasses.

None of my MCs have good relationships with their families. If they do, the family is dead. And I do believe it's because of my issues with my own family, with having to cut off my entire maternal side, with struggling to get along with the only three family members I have left because we're all abrasive. I also tend to really push on found family, as, again, I tend to lean into my friends as my family and love them as siblings (Fayanalla has Dorian, So'vriel has Astarion, Tia has Ignis, even my OCs from original worlds like Juniper and Rosemarie have family issues and found family they would die for).

And of course projecting how I wish to be onto them. I wish I was strong, I wish I could fight for myself, to be the kind person that would always outstretch my hand to help others damn the consequences, the strength to say no...

Shit I need to go sit in the corner for a bit and think.

SO I... MADE A THING BECAUSE I WAS BORED AT WORK and I'm a horrible employee don't look at me.

I wanted to make a Skill Level sheet for Fayanalla and how adept she is at each type of magic, so I made an excel spreadsheet with each Magic tree and her specialization.

And then decided to do it for EACH class and their specialization.

So here y'all go, let me know if this link works, IDK what I'm doing, just please give me credit if you use it!

I know I was going to make Faya learn how to change into a dragon from Morrigan (which was my Mentally Unstable Fayanalla™️ route but since I made her son canon I'm not doing that anymore because BOU THAT IS NO ENVIRONMENT FOR CHILDREN) but my friend introduced me to a Great Earned Nightjar and I wanted Faya to shapeshift before the final battle with Corpsyfish.

So now I wanna rewrite ALL OF MY SHIT and have her work with Morrigan for a few years post DAI to alter her bird form into a fucking Nightjar Griffon. mainly because I can easily alter it to being four three legged after she loses her arm.

Now.

This would be fucking great if I KNEW HOW TO DRAW EVEN NORMAL BIRDS, LET ALONE A GOD DAMN FUCKING GRIFFON
