These are good little crime fiction novels and DI Stone is an interesting character. Favorite author for #favoriteauthorfriday is John Gilstrap. His first book, Nathan's Run, is a great little thrill ride. It's a shame it was never made into a movie. His Jonathan Graves series is also good. (I only wished they were released in hardcover. These are paperback only.) Jonathan Graves is a Hostage Rescue expert - an off-the-books kind of guy. His team is an interesting bunch of characters. If you like action and thrill rides without the questions of the universe being answered, you would enjoy Gilstrap. The new Graves book always comes out in the summer, just in time to take to the beach. His main character is Tres Navarre (who has a cat named Robert Johnson) He returns to San Antonio and works as a PI and sometimes Lit professor.
