Quick thoughts on episode 24 of SnB VS

Everything is super rushed.

I expected at least good fighting scenes in the last episode: fire all around, difficulties in using Dromos, angels/demons/humans cooperation, more Nina in a dragon form… And all action we got was Nina’s running and one “lethal” strike with Dromos. 

But we had a lot of romantic shit. I do love romantic subplot in adventure series, don’t get me wrong, but this ChariNina story was so unnatural, because, I guess, they didn’t have a proper story (only a couple of dancing scenes and one kiss scene). 

Bahamut is dead! Hooray! The sun is shining, grass is green, sky is blue, and everyone is happy! It’s understandable, why everyone is happy, but where fire has gone (everything was burning, I remind you)? To me this scene looked…funny. 

Kaisar died for nothing, because Charioce could have just opened his mouth and told Jeanne and Azazel, that Bahamut is coming – no time for fighting. But, yeah, Charioce isn’t a talkative guy, is he? 

Mugaro’s role in the series was just suffering and suffering (thanks to whom?), and death. Poor little child. He didn't ’deserve it.

Favaro was in the series. Just was. Though he had a badass moment with Azazel and Kaisar in the arena (where they had to fight thanks to whom?). 

I thought Sophiel became one with Jeanne, but apparently no. She was somewhere with Gabriel.

A brief moment of Lucifer’s and Gabriel’s demonstration of power. Just in time, because I started to think that they doesn’t have any powers at all.

How Cocytus fell again? Oh, yeah, I guess, we should have forgotten about it a long time ago.

Dromos was forbidden weapon. Why? It didn’t do any super damage to everything around it, it even didn’t hurt his user a lot. And it doesn’t even require one and only user. So, what stopped gods, for example, to use this weapon against Bahamut 10 years ago or 2000 years ago? Gabriel should have known about it. If she didn’t want to lose a part of her powers, she could call other angels and use a weapon together with them (since you can just put your hand on user’s hand and share power with him/her).

The biggest part of the episode was about nothing (Nina’s letter) and I hoped it could be shorter. Nina’s letter was… The characteristics she gave about everything and everyone (Azazel and Jeanne especially) were just… *Sigh* I loved you, Nina, but I really hate you right now. Could she add some emotions? Or emotionless is contagious? Or she didn’t want to write about them in the letter? Then why authors decided to present Nina’s point of view in a letter form?

Happily ever after between three races… How?! Why authors didn’t show us any scene after ChariNina defeated Bahamut?! Angels and demons was ok with everything? They didn’t want to, you know, at least talk with Charioce? Why the main part – how peace was established – wasn’t showed to us?!

I cringed, when we had a scene, where demons are being paid for working with humans, and everyone is so happy and friendly. 

Why former slaves decided to help in rebuilding HUMAN’S capital? What about Cocytus?! Oh, yeah… Cocytus? What is it?

Why our attention centered only on humans? Angels and demons also suffered from Bahamut (and, cough, from humans too). Why we didn’t have any scenes, where humans were helping to rebuild demons’capital (what it’s name?), or were rebuilding angels shrines? 

Charioce is still on the throne and I’m not surprised. 

His redemption is blindness? Seriously? Or there is no need for redemption, because he was doing everything right from the beginning? Yeah, no need, certainly.

Charioce is emotional as always. 

I still don’t understand, how Azazel got a huge character development and a good redemption ark, when everything was so bad written. I really didn’t want to use this words, but now I understand, that the bad writing in VS actually exists. 

Poor Jeanne. She is all alone again. Her role in VS was also only suffering (she just didn’t get enough in Genesis). 

Bahamut is alive. Pfff… No comments.

Favaro, probably, you should tell about it to someone? No? Ok. Let it be a surprise.

In Russia we have a proverb “Начали за здравие, а кончили за упокой”, which suits VS very much. Everything was dynamic and interesting at the begining, but ended up crumpled and unexplained.
