Hello~

Can I get some headcanons about how Faust and Nero would take care of their s/o if they woke up from a nightmare?

I hope this is ok and I'm not breaking any rules :'D

This is fine, dw! I kinda modified the Nero one a bit sorry… I hope these will be alright!

Faust

- Would be alerted immediately, no doubt about it.

- He would look down at your deep frown, feeling a similar one spread on his face.

- If it looks like you’re not in sever pain, he won’t wake you up.

- He knows the pain of not being able to sleep, and would rather his s/o sleep with slight discomfort than not sleep at all.

- However he would keep a very careful watch on you while multitasking.

- If it looks like you’re very uncomfortable, with you moving around and grinding your teeth, he will gently wake you up.

- Do you need some water?

- You don’t… we’ll that is fine as well.

- He won’t argue with you if you want to stay up with him, but he would be much more gentle. Stroking your head softly, whispering about how whatever your dreamed about won’t matter, it won’t ever matter, as long as you’re with him.

- However, if you would prefer to go to sleep, he would let you. He would wait until after you were fast asleep, your dreams much happier, and would peck you on the cheek. Sigh, he still gets nervous about these.

- Then he too, will fall asleep.

Nero

- You’ve been having nightmares recently? Well don’t worry, leave it up to Nero to find something to cheer you up!

- He won’t say it outright though. He’ll secretly spend hours perfecting your favorite dishes, and will come with you on walks while pretending it’s “just a coincidence.”

- When it first started happening he thought about maybe making a potion… and regretted it immediately. He definitely won’t resort to magic, not for something like this.

- When you wake up in the middle of the night, it might take a little while Nero to realize your predicament. When he does, there are usually two ways the situation goes.

- 1. When it’s super late, he’ll pull you into a hug and stay awake until you fall asleep. The two of you can talk about it tomorrow, if you’re up for it.

- 2. When it’s relatively early he’ll sit up, and rub away the sleep from his eyes. He’ll then ask you gently about the nightmares. It’s fine if you don’t want to share, but he wants you to know that dreams are just dreams, and that the possibility of them becoming a reality is very scarce. Especially if it’s about the universe exploding and everyone turning into robot monkeys.
