I really wanted to like it - I mean it sounds so funny, right? A fifteen year old is turned into a vampire while he’s overweight? Vampire’s are always so perfect looking - this had so much potential to be awesome. The main character, Doug, is a selfish little asshole. He’s unkind and acts as if the world owes him something. And okay - vampire, but still, be decent. And while I dreaded every page of this book, I did like the female characters.
