Any cosplay (or any photos that include a real person's face/body) will not be posted into there unless explicit permission is stated in the body/tags of the original post or message.

I can’t believe it’s gotten to a point where I need to make one of these? It’s insane that for the past year you guys have been getting invested in my original characters and been making fanart of them. I had an ask today asking whether it was okay to make headcannons about my characters, so I thought I should make me boundaries clear, and explain certain things about my characters so you know what they are like and what they would be comfortable with. (I have to also be grateful to the creator of Welcome Home for making one of these ‘fanwork guides’ otherwise I wouldn’t have known this was a thing I could make).

I’m going to break this down into general things I’m okay with and things I’m not okay with, as well as facts and information about individual characters and what they would be comfortable with, as most of my original characters are trans I want people to be respectful and not draw them in ways that would cause them dysphoria nor draw them with body parts they aren’t comfortable with. And remember that while my persona/vtuber model has his own backstory, I’m still a real person and do not treat my persona or myself like you would treat a fictional character.

I reserve the right to be uncomfortable with any fanworks, and to disagree with any headcannons that you have for my persona or my original characters. Don’t get personally offended if I don’t accept your headcannon for my characters as canon. And while I have listed that fanfic is okay, it’s still something I’m more sensitive about as it’s much easier than fanart to portray my characters in our-of-character ways if you’re going to write about them rather than draw them. So, please be respectful.

There may be things listed here that don’t line up with some of the info about these characters in their audios, that’s because things can change and with my older characters I didn’t have an actual guide for them or details about them when I first started voicing them. Whatever is listed here is what is the up-to-date versions of the, not whatever you heard in an old audio. I'm a human being, things happen and things change, I reserve the right to change my boundaries and change what I'm comfortable and uncomfortable with.

I have an FAQ tag but if you have more questions after reading this and my faq tag, feel free to send me an ask.

Overall just think before you send fan-works my way. If this was a fan-work of a movie or film would you send this fan-work to the creators or actors? If the answer is no, then probably don’t send it to me.

General Guides

When making any fan-content of me or my characters you must credit me as the creator of those characters/vtuber in that content. You can use the hashtag #dervampireprince and also tag me @dervampireprince (if the website/app allows that) in the post.

You must be 18+ to make and post fanart of me or my ocs online. You must be 18+ to cosplay my ocs. (You should already be 18+ of you’re following me or interacting with my content. Youtube is the only exception on this as I don’t post 18+ content there, and my sfw art account isn’t 18+).

Fan-Merch Policy

Fan-merch means anything that is made of myself or my works that wasn’t made by myself and is being sold/monetised in some way.

It is okay to sell fan-merch of my original characters that are listed on this post as long as they adhere to the rules in the rest of this post. You are not allowed to sell fan-merch of any of my original characters not listed on this page or of myself or my vtuber model.

Items that are allowed to be sold: stickers, pins (enamel, wooden, acrylic, etc), badges/buttons, prints/posters, keychains/charms.

Items that aren’t allowed to be sold: apparel and clothing (t-shirts, hoodies, etc), figures/figurines, plushies, bags.

You are not allowed to sell fanart on places like RedBubble, Society6 and any similar site where you upload the image and they make and sell the products for you.

No mass-produced or factory made items are allowed to be sold (exception being if you’re an artist who uses a company to print your stickers or make your pins but you personally then get the items and ship them out).

Kickstarters or any other fund-raising campaigns for fan-merch is not allowed.

Label your work as unofficial merch, do not claim to be made by or affiliated with myself.

You are not allowed to use any of my works (or works made by anyone other than yourself) to create products/listings to sell. I can and will take copyright action against anyone stealing my work and selling it, please don’t make me have to do that.

Selling fan-merch is only for other artists (for example on their Etsy/Shopify stores, at comic cons). Business (for example Hot Topic, Sharkrobot) are not allowed to sell fan-merch.

Fics and headcannons are okay BUT I am sensitive to seeing my characters in ways I don’t imagine them so even though I’m a small content creator and not a big author. You wouldn’t send an ask to your favourite author or film director telling them about a fanfic you wrote or headcannon you have, so please don’t tell me about them, it’s sort of weird, and I think you’ll ultimately get upset when I don’t agree with your portrayal of my characters.

Cosplaying my original characters, but only if you're 18+. Don't do genderbent cosplays of them as they are almost all trans men and it would be disturbing to see them portrayed as women. By which I mean, 'female Ambrose' cosplay wouldn't be okay, but if you're a woman and you want to cosplay regular male Ambrose that is fine (you being a woman doesn't make it genderbending, people cosplay characters of different genders all the time, you can consider it like drag or 'crossplay'.)

Having headcannons about my ocs is fine, but please don’t send me asks about them, inform me directly of them, or ask if they’re canon because it's likely that no I won’t agree with them, I won’t think they’re canon, and I don’t want that to upset because you’re still free to have whatever headcannons you want in your mind. I have headcannons about characters that aren’t mine all the time, but I don’t message the character creator and tell them about them.

Gender-bending, genders-swapping or changing the gender of my persona/vtuber or any of my original characters. I don’t have anything against gender-bending in general, but myself and most of my original characters are trans and it would be extremely uncomfortable and dysphoric to see me/them depicted as other genders. This includes genderbending one of my trans man characters into a woman, or into a cis man. Do not change any of my trans character's gender identities or assigned-at-birth-gender.

Changing the personality, gender, sexuality, morals, religion (ghost band AUs are fine, heirophilia and priest/demon AUs are okay just don't go too heavy on real religious imagery), body type, body, genitalia, hair (as in colour and length, drawing their hair down if it's usually tied up is okay), age of my persona or my original characters. If a character doesn’t have a canonical body/genitals/chest/etc please do not draw what you assume they have.

Re-posting, re-uploading, or editing any of my work (even if you do it with credit). This includes my audios, artwork, photos and any other content I’ve made. Including making video edits that include my artwork, voice, or other content I’ve made.

Roevember Day 2: Roots

I hailed from the Azim Steppe, born into the Dotharl tribe. A tribe whose beliefs did not align with my own - whatever those may be. My father was a fierce but caring Xaela warrior - as am I - and my mother was a Sea Wolf who travelled the land and seas as a merchant - I'm no merchant, but I'm decent at bargaining with them. I know not how they met, nor how they loved, but they loved me. I recall a long journey with my parents to Thanalan, one to escape the life that the Dotharl expected me to live. Load of fuckin' horseshit, if you ask me. Who expects a CHILD to live up to that? Soul of a past warrior be damned! I enjoyed my sneaky visits to the Qestir significantly more, and some of their habits may have rubbed off on me too. I love the Steppe. I did not like the Dotharl's belief's. I think Barba and Carisi would use their head, mentally going back and figuring out the timeline. The baby looks just like him and you hadn't been seeing anyone else, so it must be his. You're refusing a paternity test? Saying you don't want them in your life? They're taking you to court.

Amaro and Dodds aren't stupid either, but they'll try to win you over. Get you to admit they're the father, let them help and get involved. All the SVU men are honest and would want to be present fathers.

Praia da Vieira (Vieira Beach) is both the name of a beach an a small fishing village on the month of River Lis, in the Central Region of Portugal. Unfortunately, when I took these photos, the weather was unusually grey (albeit not chill at all) for a June Sunday.

The Vieira Beach is one of the places where the action of one of Eça de Queiroz most famous novels - The Crime of Father Amaro: ("O Crime do Padre Amaro", in the original) - takes place. In several of Eça's books, the author likes to change the name of certain villages and towns, but the Vieira Beach is explicitely mentined as the place where the people from Leiria frequented during the Summer.

I am so so intrigued by the alternative universe in which olivia fucks carisi. what are the vibes there (besides deeply unwell in a way that to me is deeply interesting and also hot). what's your vision?

Ah yes, the alternate universe in which Liv fucks Carisi.

So in the actual universe Amanda has picked a job that involves her traveling all the time, constantly away from home, leaving her husband alone with three children, one of whom is an infant, while he is in the midst of a full blown existential crisis about Being A Dad, where he sees danger lurking around every corner and is flipping out about protecting his kids.

All of that is actually happening, but in the alternate universe the characters acknowledge that this is happening. In the alternate universe Carisi admits his wife has abandoned their family after she promised him that she wanted to settle down and keep herself safe for their kids - he admits that he's lonesome and struggling and it's a bad thing that he isn't able to spend any time with his wife. That he spent what a decade pining for this woman and now that he's finally got her they're both miserable. But he's got these kids to take care of and really it was the kids he wanted most; he wanted to have a family he wanted to be a father and now he is and he's coping with his less than ideal circumstances but in the alternate universe he does at least admit that it's not ideal.

In the alternate universe Olivia allows herself to feel hurt by Amanda, instead of swallowing it all down. Amanda who ran away from her - just like Liv knew she would - Amanda who made her husband lie to Liv and hide the pregnancy from her, ducked Liv's calls for no reason other than that she just didn't seem to want to deal with Liv; in the alternate universe Liv lets herself say hey this is all a little fucked up.

In the canon universe and the alternate universe both it has been too long since Liv last saw Elliot and she's got to be wondering if she blew it. Maybe it's for the best that she blew it. She doesn't think she's allowed to have nice things, anyway.

So in the alternate universe, where Carisi and Liv have both the self respect and the self awareness to acknowledge the fuckedupedness of their situation, Carisi calls Liv for help. He's so tired. The baby's barely sleeping. The girls are bored and they miss their mom. Please help, Liv. Save me, Cap.

So Liv comes. Liv helps. Noah plays with Jesse (side bar it has always irked me that the show spells her name Jesse, which is generally accepted as the masculine spelling, instead of Jessie, which is commonly used for girls. Why did they do that) and Billie and they fall asleep. Liv cleans the kitchen, helps Carisi find some balance in the chaos. Nicky (funny, that, he'll think later, how Amanda said she wanted to name their son after Sonny, but somehow managed to name the baby after Amaro, instead) falls asleep, Liv and Carisi fall into the couch with their wine glasses.

At first it's just talking. Carisi cautiously admitting he doesn't like the set up with Amanda's new job but what's he gonna do, you know? Maybe there's a couple of nights, maybe at least once every time Amanda's out of town, where they talk like this. Start getting more and more honest. Both of them admitting that having the thing they always wanted isn't really everything it's cracked up to be.

I think I made a mistake, Carisi says, wondering if maybe he'd have been better off if he walked out of SVU ten years ago and met a nice girl who actually wants to be with him, who doesn't always have one foot out the door.

I think I made a mistake, Liv says, thinking about that night in her kitchen with Elliot, wondering if that was the last chance she's ever gonna get to kiss him. Maybe she should've just done it. Maybe -

They're sad, they're lonesome, they both need something to hold on to. Liv's technically single and Carisi might as well be, he's getting so little time with his wife. They're just sad, really, all the way down to their bones, and it's about comfort, more than anything else. They both just want to hold someone; they both just want to be held. They never speak of it in the daylight. In the daylight they work as well together as they ever have, and never give anything away. At night they cling to each other, whisper secrets in the dark. They don't really want each other; they both know they're just placeholders. Waiting for the ones they love to come back to them. If they ever do.
