"WAIT WHATS THAT?" Iida asked Kirishima who held a yellow stack of flyers. "My revenge.." He said with a smile before throwing the papers down the staircase of the school watching as the students grabbed them. "Mineta's having a party?" Iida questioned, confused. "No but now he is!" He responded with a wink before walking off.

While walking out of school, Iida noticed Ochaco walking by herself. "Hey Ochaco!" He quipped, sliding next to the burnette. She quickly greeted him with a smile. The pair walked off together ultimately deciding to have Ochaco show Iida around while talking about the plan with her sister and Katsuki. "Are you going to the party" Iida asked. "Yeah of course I really really wanna go but I can't unless my sister does.." Ochaco sighed hopping off a statue the two were climbing. "Um I'm working on that but your sister is not going for the guy." He explained before a question popped into his head.

"So are you sure that your sister isn't a-"

"K.D. Lang fan? Nope." Ochaco shrugged. "Found a picture of Fatgum in her drawer once." She continued. "Oh so she's into guys like that? Like pretty guys?" He questioned, looking down at her. "I guess. I mean you can't expect me to dissect the inner workings of her twisted mind!" She ranted, not forgetting the theatrics while she spoke.

Kirishima's bike compared to the rest of the bikers made Iida sink into himself as he walked into the bar, looking for Bakugou. Once they spotted him they went to him. "Should you be drinking that if your don't have a liver?" The red head asked, stupidly, earning a smack from Iida. "So we got somethings that might help you win over y/n."

Katsuki just raised him brow, taking another sip from his beer. "Uh first off y/n hates smokers..so uh--" Iida then processed to take the cigarette from Bakugou hand and put it out on the floor as Kirishima nodded along. "So yer telling me that I'm a non-smoker?" The blonde let out slowly. "Well just for now! and well here's another problem.." Iida led on. "Ochaco says y/n likes pretty guys.." He finished as the two friends looked to each other then at Katsuki.

"Are you telling me I'm not a pretty guy?" He asked almost offended, getting up from his spot that was leaning on the pool table. This causes the two teens to scramble to defend themselves and to compliment Bakugou. "This is a very pretty guy! This is a gorgeous guy!" Kirishima retorted as Iida quickly agreed with him as Bakugou went back down to listen to the rest of what they needed to tell him. Katsuki knew he was a pretty guy but he loved to mess with this guys..

As Momo and Ochaco tried to quickly sneak past her dad to leave for the party, he just called out to them. "Should've tried the window!"

"Now where are you two going?" He interrogated them as Momo just looked at her friend with a nervous smile. "Well if you must know we are going to a..study group!" The youngest daughter lied, terribly. "Other wise known as an orgy?" He raised an eyebrow from behind his newspaper.

"Oh come on daddy it's just a party!" the burnette attempted to use her charm on her dad but he still didn't seem to budge. "You know you can't go if your sister doesn't." As if on que you came down the stairs, on your way to the kitchen.

"Come on y/n! Can't you be normal for once and go to Minetas party!" Ochaco huffed, practically begging you. Although you REALLY didn't want to go, you really did feel a pang of guilt after seeing how much your sister wanted to go to this stupid party. Fuck it.

“Fine I’ll make an appearance.” You shrug before heading back upstairs to fix your hair and grab a leather jacket. As you were on your way to your room you hear the door close and your dad say to himself, “what just happened…?” in disbelief. Which made you laugh a bit.

The party was booming once you got there. Of course now looking around the atmosphere you feel regret creep up on you as you soon bump into Monoma.

“Woah hey there kitty cat!” He spoke with his usual self righteous tone which caused you to scoff. “Whatever just stay away from my sister.” You warn the blonde. Before walking away he says this. “Can’t promise she’ll stay away from me!” Suddenly this party started to suck even more than before.

And just as you thought things couldn’t get worse the guy who seemed to be harassing you showed up once again. “Dear god, what do you want..” You let out a sigh. “What not enjoying the party?” The blonde scoffed. This guy is now starting to seriously piss you off.

Just as Katsuki was gonna say something back, Monoma and Ochaco walked past the two with his arm around the girl and saying something along the lines of, “guess who found me!”. This seemed to set something off in you as Katsuki watched you throw back two shots of whatever was on the table. “Woah slow down..” The boy said, rather uncharacteristically, concerned.

✊ It’s love at first sight. You look so soft and sweet to Kirishima that he can’t help but want to protect you.

✊ If you have your father’s quirk, you best believe that Kirishima finds you adorable in either form. Skinny form? You’re so cute and he loves feeling your tiny body against his hulking form. Chubby form? He just wants to feel your soft skin and cuddle your adorable self.

✊ Kirishima starts off tame. He’s protective of you, especially if you tag along on missions with your father. He jumps in front of you and hardens his skin, half showing off, half genuinely worried for your safety.

✊ It doesn’t matter how tough you are, how good you are at fighting, how amazing your quirk is… Kirishima becomes more and more paranoid and delusional as time goes on. To him, you’re helpless.

✊ It isn’t outwardly obvious at first that Kirishima is obsessed with you but it eventually becomes clear. Maybe he leaps into action to protect you over a group of civilians actually being targeted or maybe Fatgum notices the way he follows you around like a lovesick puppy.

✊ Surprisingly, Tamaki actually notices Kirishima’s infatuation with you before your father. Maybe even before you notice it. He’s observant and intelligent, so he tries to think of a way to deal with this potential danger without confrontation.

✊ Fatgum is braver and is quick to confront Kirishima. He’ll outright ask him what’s going on and won’t back down if Kiri lies and says that it’s nothing.

✊ Fatgum and Tamaki sort of exchange looks every time something suspicious happens, confirming each other’s worries without a single word. Tamaki wants to stay out of it, but your father is determined to keep you safe, even if he wants to give his apprentice the benefit of the doubt.

✊ Kirishima becomes a bit jealous of Tamaki. After all, Tamaki spends a lot more time with Fatgum and, subsequently, you. He doesn’t necessarily view Tamaki as a rival (depends on your behavior towards him), he still feels a lot of resentment.

✊ Kirishima is a little bit embarrassed that he has a crush on his mentor’s kid, but he actually doesn’t have much shame when it come to that. He might avoid showing affection as much around Fatgum, but he will eventually escalate to the point where he doesn’t care at all anymore.

✊ Kirishima eventually becomes a full-on simp, following you around more than his mentor. He becomes your sword and shield, whether you like it or not.

✊ If Fatgum tries to cut Kirishima’s contact off with you (not bringing you along on missions, keeping you two separate, etc.), he’ll turn into a flat-out stalker. Fatgum will be hesitant to take legal action against a hero student because he doesn’t want to ruin such a promising future, but he will if he absolutely has to.

✊ But, even then, Kirishima won’t give up. You’re such a precious person to him, how could he possibly give you up?

 Fatgum x (F) Reader: Fantasy AU PT1

(PT1) Wedding Night. 

((Author’s note: This is loosely inspired by Under the Oak Tree and I will admit that up front. 

Trigger Warnings:  Fluff, SFW, SLOW BURN this is gonna have multiple parts and I intend to slowly build up a beautiful, strong, healthy, and stable relationship.

You have been betrothed to the Golden knight. The renown champion of the realm, friend of the dragons. The people’s hero. You as the reader are a lower nobleman’s daughter and have been betrothed to Taishiro to symbolize the union of your homeland to his newly established stronghold in the mountains. You can’t help but wonder if you are worthy of him.

The light poured in from the many windows. Colours illuminated her veiled face from the stained glass behind the altar, the guests whispered and stood agape as the chapel filled with song. The upper floors were filled with a large choir, their voices only adding to the ethereal atmosphere. She walked with no one at her side but those closest to her walked ahead of her in procession, slowly filling the seats to one side. Her eyes slowly lifted to the ceiling to look at the beautiful crystal chandeliers that caught the light and made sunspots dance. The ceiling and walls were painted with intricate images of angels dancing among the clouds, the pews were polished wood, the carpet was red. (--) felt her heart racing, doing everything she could to look everywhere but the altar. Anywhere, focus on anything but the man that would soon stand before her. They had only met once, when her father offered her hand. They were not permitted to even speak to one another. Eventually her entourage opened the way for her to finally stand before the altar. Then, and only then did she look. 

Her heart skipped a beat as she gazed upon him, His armor was well polished and reflected the many lights and colours of the room. Taishiro, he walked down the couple steps towering over her to offer his arm. It was expected of him. This was an obligation, wasn’t it? She thought to herself, but his eyes seemed to contradict all she had been told. That this marriage  was beneficial, ceremonial. That it meant nothing. As he reached his arm towards her, (--)’s heart skipped a beat. He was smiling, it made his face look so soft and kind. Her eyes finally met his, and they were as warm as his smile. 

Taishiro could hardly breathe, his nerves a bust as he stood beside (--). She looked beautiful, was he even permitted to think such a thing? He felt his heart grow heavy as she looked away and turned to the priest. “Surely, she agreed to this only out necessity? It is simply only her duty...” He took a deep breath. “As her to be husband...I only wish her happiness.” He saw something in those eyes of hers, and he longed to explore it. To learn the stories that were behind them and how life shaped that hypnotizing gaze. However, if her happiness meant that the closest he could be was at an arm’s length, then it would be so. 

“You may kiss your bride.” The old priest announced with a bow. 

(--) turned to face him, her fingers twisting the beautiful ring that now adorned her hand. She suddenly looked up in surprise, his large calloused hands taking hers with such a gentleness that she had never known. He was still smiling, his touch made a tickle run down her spine. He leaned forward, her heart racing with apprehension as their families cheered and sung together. Once again he surprised her, leaning to her ear. “If you permit me, may I?” He whispered, there was no hiding the hopefulness in his voice, but his question was so earnest and sweet. Her nerves ebbed away ever so slightly and she looked into his eye as he drew back to steal another longing gaze. (--) smiled, and he felt himself grow weak. 

“Yes...you may.” He gently held her face with a shaky hand. It was as though he already knew every curve of her as he gently brought her close, his kiss was light and left her feeling guilty for wishing it had been longer as he left the smallest, sweetest kiss on her lips. They left the church in a grand parade towards her parent’s estate to join the festivities, and for the rest of the night as (--) danced with him her heart grew heavier and heavier. “This is only an obligation...that is all he thinks of this isn’t it?” She didn’t know what to do, things were moving far too quickly. Wasn’t it dangerous, to fall in love so fast? 

The party dragged well into the night and (--) felt that she would pass out from the heat, waiting for a moment of respite. She found her way to the gardens, where she had spent much of her formative years. Often when her parents held parties, she would escape here. Walk by the pond, and watch the bees fly amongst the flowerbeds. She lay back in the grass, looking up at the stars as her dress billowed about her. (--) removed her shoes, breathing deeply. The snow was finally gone, the dampness dried up from warm sunny days but the air still clung to the chill in the evenings. She remained outside until she heard the music starting to die, and with it her heart sank as she walked back to the castle. Her stomach was tying itself into knots, she looked hesitantly into the ballroom. He was speaking to her guardian, unable to hear what they were saying but a part of her guessed it. 

More marital obligations. 

(--) Found the nearest servant and requested they inform Sir Taishiro that she would be in their room if he needed her. As she made her way to the room, her heart was pounding, her hands shaking as she opened the grand door. The room was warm from an already lit fireplace, beeswax candles scented with lavender made her feel somewhat more eased but she still felt dizzy with worry. Two handmaidens that were waiting for her. Silently they helped (--) get out of her wedding attire and into a comfortable nightgown. One of her own, but for the first time she noticed how thin the fabric was. How exposed her chest and neck felt. She got under the blankets and thanked the two ladies, insisting they could take their leave and she would be alright on her own. 

Taishiro went to the armory, his brows knit together. “Sir Tai?” A young man called. He felt at ease to see a familiar face, smiling. 

“Ah there you are Tamaki...I didn’t see you at the festivities after the ceremony.” Tamaki, his apprentice immediately came forward to start removing the ceremonial armor. He chuckled. 

“I don’t much care for parties.” He shrugged, carefully twisting out the bolts and sliding off the leather straps. “What do you think Taishiro?” Tamaki asked, putting the armor pieces one by one onto the work table. He rubbed his tired face, thankful to stretch properly. He pulled off the chainmail underneath himself, his yellow tunic loose on his soft body. 

“I think...that she is beautiful, and I only hope that she wants to know me as much as I long to know more of her...” Tamaki nodded, taking the chain mail and carefully putting it on the table. 

“Well, tell her that...when the time is right, you both have a long future together.” He smiled, “take your time and show her all the kindness in the world.” Taishiro chuckled. 

“You are wise beyond your years, thank you Tamaki.” He left the armory, and as he found himself at the staircase he saw a young woman waving, one of the servants. 

“Her ladyship awaits in the bridal chamber, she retired earlier.” She bowed then went about her business before Taishiro could even properly thank her. He went up the steps, his own heart racing as he approached the door. 

When he opened the door he was surprised that the candles still burned, bathing the room in a soft glow. She was sitting up in bed, looking out the window and lost in thought. He had opened the door quietly in case she was asleep and she had not yet seen him. Taishiro stepped back, his face burning. “What do I do?” He thought, without even thinking he suddenly knocked. Making (--) her  attention to the door. “Hello?” She called hesitantly. He cleared his throat and approached. 

“uhm, (--)? Forgive me I should have knocked before opening...I uhm...may I come in?” He wanted to kick himself, they were married he should probably just go in but...that felt so rude. His nerves eased as she offered him a sweet smile and nodded. He was unsure if he was overthinking it but, she seemed tense to him. Maybe she was just as nervous as he was. He politely bowed, entering the room. He didn’t think much of it, but he kept his back to her, just wanting to take off his smelly tunic. 

When he removed the tunic, the light bouncing off his soft looking bare chest her heat skipped a beat, and she slowly lowered her gaze. Every part of her trembled. “He...expects this of me?” She looked back up, he still wore his trousers, rummaging through his trunk of clean clothes. “I...well, that is my duty is it not?” She could barely breathe as she slid her legs our from under the covers to sit on the edge of the bed. Her fingers lifted to the buttons of her nightdress. She she undo them? Or wait did he want to? (--) felt sick to her stomach, did...did she even want him to? Did she even want this? She wanted to run, run as far and fast as she could. Her fingers struggled with the buttons as she continued to tremble. 

She had only undone the top button when those familiar hands took hers. (--) looked up, and he was kneeling beside the bed, his eyes looking into hers. “You’re shaking like a leaf...” He lowered his gaze, caressing her hands and just looking at them. As though he were memorizing their every detail before looking into her eyes again. “I am your husband...you are my wife, by title and ceremony yes however I believe there should be more to a marriage than duty, obligation and rules...” His thumb continued to run circles along her knuckles. He knew it, she was so nervous. Only a few hours they had shared, and already his heart ached to see her like this. 

 “I could hardly call myself a man if I brought on you such fear...” He hesitantly lifted a hand to her face. “I am your husband...and that means to me, that your happiness and safety are something that I must protect with the same ferocity that I use to safeguard our people.” (--) listened carefully, her shoulders finally loosening, her breaths free. “So, I swear to you that only when you permit me, when you are ready...we will share those more intimate experiences of this journey.” (--) could hardly speak as tears of relief silently poured down her face. He took her hand and placed on it a gentle kiss before he finished getting ready for bed. He blew the candles out for them, making sure the fire wasn’t too large before he too went to sleep. 

(--) felt the bed sink as he got in beside her, and although she was relived she could hardly relax. “He is disappointed, he must be.” She closed her eyes. He was a mighty warrior, respected, and renown. Surely he could have found any number of women that were more suited. “I am hardly worthy.” Was her last thought before falling into a troubled sleep.

Everyone knew her and looked to her for advice, but in this case, he couldn’t look for her. He would be receiving reassurance because she would most likely kill him instead. Once at home he jogged in place, pumped himself up to call Maya. This was stressful work, he looked up to her back then which means that she was the real deal. He remembers what she did to the little creep who kept harassing the girls in the 1-A homeroom. Let's just say that the guy came back to campus with a few a cast on his arms and a nice black eye to match.

“Ok, you can do it. Yeah, you can do it.” He shooked off his nerves and clicked Maya's contact. Maybe she would answer, maybe she wouldn't, it's honestly a bargain when it came to her.

“Shi-” She picked up.

He couldn't do it. She answered the call and he couldn't do it. The fear of getting stomped to death by his upperclassmen that he practically saw as his hero was terrifying. His phone began to ring again and he sucked in a huge gulp of air and answered.

“Hi, Ma-”

“You hijo de puta! What's wrong with you?”

“A lot-”

“Let me talk, putón!” Maya was pissed, there was no way he was going to survive.

Maya spent 30 minutes ripping him a new one. It ranged from him not visiting the company to the problem that he was facing now.

“I know I fucked up, Maya. I'm trying to...fix things. Y/n gave me a chance and I’m going to take advantage of that, but I also don't want to push my luck.” Maya let out an exasperated sigh.

“Hitoshi, you can’t rush things. I don’t know how badly you fucked up, but a fuck up is a fuck up and you need to fix it. I’m sure this was already drilled into your head.” Shinsou laid down on his bed and rubbed his face.

“It has, yeah. Anything else you want to advise me on?”

“Yeah, you sarcastic bitch. Come to my company again, we would love to have you intern.”

“Than-”

“And invite Y/n under my recommendation as a reviewer.” Shinsou’s eyes widened. On one hand, it was a great idea, it would mean being around you more but that's only if you said yes.

“But what if-”

“I’ll call you back later. Wait for my call, or else.” Maya hung up on him and left him in the silence of his bedroom. He didn’t disagree with her, but it felt wrong to have her essentially help him fix his mistakes with you. His phone started to ring again.

“Hello?”

“Good job Lavender, you've learned to be more responsive. Anyways, Y/n said yes to my offer. You can thank me later. I’ll be sending out the forms you need to fill out and I’ll also be speaking with my mentors if we have any open roles for upcoming performances.”

“Maya! I- I need to tell you something.”

“Alright?”

“My dad said to call-”

“Sure! Just let me hang up on you so I can call the hospital. Alright, bye!” With that Maya hung up on him... again.

Holy shit, Maya was not only giving him a chance of improving himself career wise but also to spend more time with you. Score! He sat up and walked to his desk where his computer was at. He opened his emails and saw Maya already sent him the forms. Page after page of information that he didn’t care about and signatures he needed to place. He was given a second chance again, from a someone who could have destroyed his nonexistent career. From someone, he used to disrespect and view them as below him. He’d make a mental note to hug and thank Maya when he saw her in person.

When the next day arrived, he ran to his kitchen and made breakfast for both his dad and himself. He knew that his dad would have a long shift tonight, so he won’t be home till the day after.

“Morning dad. Here's your breakfast. I also made you your lunch.” Aizawa came down the stairs into the open kitchen and just stared at him for a moment.

“You’re...happy.” Shinsou turned towards him and raised his brow.

“I'm... sorry?”

“N-no that’s.” Aizawa sighed. “Thank you.” They both went about the house and continued to pack their things before heading their separate ways. They said their goodbyes but before Aizawa could leave Shinsou decided to break their routine.

“Thank you for everything dad.” Shinsou hugged his dad briefly before walking off. Aizawa didn't remember the last time saw his son look that happy, nor remember when his son hugged him last, but he wasn't about to complain. It seemed that today was going to be a pretty positive one. He made a mental note to not think of all of the pessimistic ways the day could go bad.

Shinsou bolted towards the train station with a backpack full of notebooks and his lunch. He was practically bouncing with excitement today. The train was packed, people stacked like sardines as they tried to get to their daily commitments. Nothing was able to dampen his mood and it only got better once he got to campus. The moment he laid eyes on his upperclassmen that was right in front of him, he bolted towards her.

“MAYA!”

“Huh? Aaugh!-” Shinsou crashed into the woman giving her a hug.

“Que mierda! Lavanda!” Maya was on the floor with Shinsou laying on top of her.

“Shit! Sorry, Ma-”

“Hi, Maya!...hi Shinsou.” You decided that right now was the best time to make an entrance. From the position you were standing at, it looked like Shinsou was trying to grope Maya. He was on top of her, his hands at the sides of her body. Maya could see you looking at the two of them and gave you an annoyed look. She quickly placed her hands on the sides of her head and bent backwards. Her feet pulled up to her chest and she used her arms to propel herself up in order to kick Shinsou in the stomach with her knees.

“Get off of me, Lavanda. Your girlfriend is watching.” She hissed at him, making sure she was quiet with the second part so you wouldn't hear. Maya got up and dusted herself off while Shinsou held his stomach and tried to catch his breath. She simply stomped her foot next to his face, scaring the shit out of the breathless and gasping man.

“Sup Y/n. I wanted to talk to you for a moment. You don’t mind if I take you away for a bit, right? Hitoshi, do you mind if i take your classmate? No? Awesome.” Maya came up to you and placed her arm around your shoulders, essentially given you an affectionate headlock in the process. She smiled at you, her tired eyes holding a small glint to them.

“Sure, what do you need to tell me?” The two of you walked away leaving Shinsou to catch his breath on the concrete floor. He wanted to thank Maya for helping him out but he guessed he could do that later since the woman was gone.

Maya and you continued to stroll into campus grounds and decided to ahem your conversation in the empty music hall to talk in detail about whatever Maya wanted.

“Heres the paperwork i mentioned yesterday. You should fill it out now.”

“Oh uh, I don’t-”

“Great, here's a pen. Fill it out so you don't forget to do it later.” Maya gave you a small stack of papers to fill out and just sat on the desk nearby. She watched you as you filled in the forms and would at moments make eyecontact with you when you looked up to look at her. You wont lie, she's really intimidating, like a predator analysing her prey. Once you finished the forms you handed them back but she wouldn't take them.

“Uuuh, i done?” Maya just looked at you giving no response to what you were saying.

“I can just-”

“It sucks doesnt it?”

“Excuse me?” Maya got up from her place on the desk and stood infront of you. She was tall. You noticed that she was taller than some of the guys on campus but never found it odd, the one thing that caught your attention was that she was a “role model.” Not in the traditional way though.

“Having someone you trust use you and then throw you away isn’t the nicest feeling in the world. I get it.” Maya didn’t touch you but she did come a bit closer. This time, her face was right next to your own.

“Sometimes you need to move on to improve and in others, you need that person back into your life to help you make that choice obvious.” Maya wasn't one to be sugar coated in the things she said. She was sharp with her words, she wouldn't leave you place to add anything new unless she deemed int right fro you to talk.

“But what if that person did something incredibly horrible.” You didn’t want to cry in front of upperclassmen. This entire situation was a bit bizarre but it felt nice to have someone address it instead of you having to.

“I know what he did Y/n. I saw the messages and the pictures. I know what websites and what profiles all of that shit was on. I know everything about this shitfest.” Maya held out her hand to you, asking for permission to comfort you. You accept her silent offer and allow her to pull you into a hug.

“I’ve been there, how do you think I know all of this? Y/n, I know the person Hitoshi was and I can also see the person that he is now.” She brushed your head, giving you a gentle squeeze as if to tell you you’re safe.

“This isn’t me telling you to forgive Shinsou, if anything I honestly would tell you to kick his shit in for being an asshole.” You started to cry into Maya’s chest.

“I know your still worried for him, so am i.” Why did she have to be so-

“But if you need to kick him out of your life, you need to do so.” Maya pulled back and wiped away your tears with her thumb.

“You know why im saying this, you know what happend to me. If you need, i’ll be there for you.”

“B-...but what if...i dont want to cut him out?” You looked up nervously at your upperclassmen.

You walked around for the past few weeks trying to look for answers. You made the first advance to interact with Shinsou at the sports festival because you wanted to show support for your classmate. It was compulsive and you didn't think about what you were doing. But you kept going. You continued to be the first to interact with him every time. You wanted to be close with him again but didnt know if it was the right decision. It still hurt, everything that he did to you was still affecting you now. You had to private your socials and had to report accounts that would send you rape threats. Your online life was never safe, with the way you dress you always got rude comments, but those were manageble. This was different. These people would continuously pursue you, they would make an account and then another and then another to harras you. You couldn't exist there anymore but Bakugou and all of his friend reassurede you that they would protect you both in person and online.

“Then thats the choice you want to make. I wont stop you. But keep this in mind,” Maya stabilized you so would fully look at her, “no one, and i mean no one.” Maya squeezed your shoulders and shooked you a little.

“No one is worth your emotional health.” This is what everyone meant. Maya was wise for her age, she was young and successful because of her wisdom. If only people knew that the wisdom that she seemed to be blessed with came from nearly dying and being hurt badly. Mentally, emotionally, physically. Maya was what many called “used goods”. She wasn’t the girl with large sparkles on her eyes. She was the person everyone looked to for help. So yes, she was the "role model" in the modern sense of the word. She was a surviver. Everyone listened to a survivor. If they only listened to the victim in the same way.

You knew that already, yet you kept questioning yourself, what else could you do? You knew that when playing with fire you shouldn’t add gas. Everything was going well so you poured everything in hoping to see the flame become it’s own. Instead it consumed you and left you to rot in its wake.

“I know, i know Maya! But i still care about him, i still want to see him get better.” Maya pulled you back into a hug. She knew what you felt. She also wanted to see Shinsou succeed and become the person he wanted to be. She had to admit, you brought so much change when it came to Shinsou and his person. The poor guy when she first met him was an actual wreck. He continuesly got angry with her and at the same time seeked her out for aprovel on his performances. He came in smelling wrank as fuck and she practically had to threaten him to take a shower or he would lose his chance at shadowing her. She learned to play his games and to make sure he remembered his place all at the same time.

She knew what it meant to want to keep someone who hurt you and try to redeem them. But unlike you or Shinsou, she didn’t get to keep that person in her life. She had to say goodbye and move on like nothing had happened. In her eyes, Shinsou was redeemable. She would gladly beat the shit out of him if you asked her to, she’s sure that your little friend Bakugou would also like to join in. But it would be selfish of her to say that to you. You were the one suffering, not her.

She kept her mouth closed and allowed you to continue to cry to your hearts content. You couldn’t let go of her, she just brushed your hair out of your face. Once you calmed down, Maya gave you her water bottle to drink from. She allowed you to stay in the music hall till the next transition period and told you that she’ll speak with your professor about why you were absent.

You saw glimpses of Shinsou throughout your day, most of them were him and Maya talking or what you could assume was talking since the upperclassmen would wag her finger at him. In one instance, you saw Maya grab him by the ear and forced him to sit down to read out loud from a book. You guessed that Maya was just the tough love sort and continued on with your day. The more time passed the more you reaslized how much of your life was defined by helping Shinsou out with basic shit. Helping him say “hello” and “thank you” to the people that would help him, consistently pushing him to wear something different everyday, pushing him to shower. It wasnt like you got a thrill from having him be dependent of you. It was more about wanting to see someone who was in a shit place in life improve themselves and be able to become independent again. You wanted him in your life again and you knew that he also wanted you in his. You didn’t need to pretend that everything was normal, just like Maya said, if something made you feel uncomfortable or endangered your wellbeing you could leave and cut ties. Maya would gladly beat the shit out of Shinsou if he did anything to you.

Maybe it was time to try again.

I have Neito's Banpresto figure, he's on my desk along with the Fatgum funko. But good god I might had to drive 2 hours to get a Neito funko from Hot Topic and it would be worth it....

I was actually very pleasantly surprised to find Neito has a pretty good cult following! Good amount of fanart, fics, X readers, he's the most popular boy in 1-B, maybe even the most popular character in 1-B period. Which is funny because knowing that would upset him to no end. How DARE the rest of his class not share in his spotlight!

I have no real strong headcanons for Neito, I'm always so wishy-washy on locking in HCs for favorites, especially my wonderful son boy, but here's some thoughts I have;

I land on trans Neito a lot. Realized he was a he very young, like before he was in Elementary young, and refused to hear otherwise ever. He's very strong headed like that. Very proud of him

I think he keeps a notebook to keep track of all his friend's favorite things and what he knows about them, he had a hard time making friends in middle school, and he swears to make UA different!

He's a great friend to all, so if you asked him about his best friend he'd probably struggle to pick just one.

If he were to give them a chance I think he'd get along great with Ojiro and Aoyama from 1-A, but he's just so stubborn. In another life they'd probably hang out. Same with Mei Hatsume from the Support Course? Similar energies.

He looks up to Mirio, because he's in class 3-B, and a member of the so called "Big Three", showing that class B is just as strong as class A. Mirio's blunt and doesn't like Neito, so he's very rude. It's half the Autism and half one time Neito used Tamaki as an example of class A's pathetic weakness and Mirio will just never forgive him for it. Poor Neito just wants approval from a cool upperclassman.

Anything can be fixed with chocolate, is a Neito classic. One of his classmates feeling down? Talk over some hot coco. Someone (Tetsu) locked up in their dorm cramming for the quiz tomorrow? Leave a chocolate bar and a water bottle at their door. Went a little too rough on his insults and made someone actually upset? Chocolate apology basket.

Neito does know there is a limit, and if he crosses it, he has a really hard time with verbal apology. He doesn't want to make class 1-B look BAD though, so he'll make his best effort to correct if he did something over the line. As discreetly as possible. Usually gifts and, as stated above, chocolate.

Neito knows Japanese, French, English, JSL, ASL, and Mandarin. He learned most of them to make communication in his class easier (Kuroiro and Bondo are more often non-verbal, Pony's Japanese is rough at the best of times, and Rin replaces words with Mandarin randomly mid sentence without noticing), but learned French just for himself. He wants to take the class on a trip to Paris someday

When in a relationship Neito is very boastful about the slightest hint of PDA. Holding hands walking to class? He's going to make a big deal of it, the entire walk, and of course praise you the entire time. He goes above and beyond on the encouragement for a partner. You can do no wrong in his eyes.

Shouts and giggles erupted throughout the beach condo that sat on the lowest flower of the complex, the sand almost seeming to try and kiss the deck that sprawled out towards the crystal beach, the patio furniture lapping up the warmth of the sun that shone its heat waves to the world below lovingly. Though it would have been relaxing if it wasn’t for your twin girls bouncing about, their sandcastle making artillery clanging around in their buckets they clutched onto for dear life as they chased each other about in the living room area and around the island within the kitchen as you tried to make sure everything was packed. Your oldest daughter simply sat out on the patio seemingly oblivious to the noise around her as she flipped her pages within her book, eyes earnestly following each word and devouring it within her mind. Your second oldest daughter on the other hand was too busy trying to position her phone and learn the dance moves to a tiktok dance she had just recently discovered and using the sun as a good source of ‘lighting’, well those were her words to you earlier when she declared to everyone to not try and walk into frame of her video. Your husband Taishiro had stepped out of the restroom, his clothes he was previously wearing bundled up in his hands as he was now in his appropriate beach attire, a shirt slung over his shoulder. Your eyes though gave a quick glance to the muscles that ripples through out his body before making eye contact with him.

“Please tell me how we ended up with 4 girls?” You questioned as you pushed a bottle of sunscreen to his chest, a smile upon his face as he set his shirt and old clothes aside.

“Well....you know...” he said with a wink that only made you shake your head with a laugh, finally managing to scoop up your twin daughters as they had begun to make their lap around the island within the kitchen, setting them up onto the marble countertops to begin putting sunscreen onto them with another bottle you had.

“Go out there and make sure those two have sunscreen on, they have been out there already for awhile.” You said as your nodded your head to the patio where your two older girls were outside. Taishiro gave a thumbs up as he walked up to the glass sliding door, stepping out into the warm, breezy, and salty atmosphere of the beach.

“Hey, your mother said to reapply your sunscreen unless you want to turn into lobsters, which will leave us no choice but to eat you for dinner tonight.” He said, bringing his hands up to mock a lobsters, but gained no response from the teens. Though his oldest only raised her hand to receive the bottle of sunscreen, sitting up from her relaxed position to begin applying it to herself. Now the second oldest only continued to try and do the dance she was learning correctly, which she was doing pretty and it seemed that she would make it through the whole video perfectly....until Taishiro decided to butt in beside her, trying to dance along with her from what he had seen by watching her.

“Dad! I almost had it that time!” She spoke out dramatically as she stepped forward to grab her phone, the pro hero only looming over her shoulder to watch the play back of the video, letting out a laugh at the moment he had come in to ruin it. “And I can’t post it because then it will probably get popular and I don’t want people trying to simp over my dad...” she explained in a frustrating manor, only getting a confused looking from her father.

“Ok, how do you know it’s going to get popular and what the heck does simp mean?” He asked as he looked over to something nudging his arm, which he soon discovered to be the sunscreen bottle, which he automatically grabbed to hand over to his second oldest who handed Taishiro her phone to begin applying it to herself.

“Dad, everyone knows that tiktoks with funny parents get popular on tiktok and simp is when...you know...you simp for someone! Like you find someone attractive or whatever and you hope to be with them or something like that” she tried to explain as she rubbed the sunscreen into her face and arms. “A lot of girls at school simp for you because they think your attractive when you aren’t ‘Fatgum’...though some still do, but either way it’s gross!” She said with a dramatic shiver and a gag upon handing the bottle back to her father.

“I swear I learn something new from you teens everyday...” he spoke out “How would an old man like me ever survive without your knowledge....” Taishiro said with a shake of his head as he grabbed the bottle once she was finished with it, handing her phone back to her. “You two better gather the things you want to bring down to the beach, alright? I’m sure we want to minimize the times we have to walk through the scorching hot, dry sand right here.” He reminded before heading back inside to be met with the young twins rushing past him and out onto the patio to continue their running. “I just learned what simp means...” Taishiro mumbled out as he stepped up to the counter, watching you dig around within the bag you packed to make sure you had everything.

“I forgot, you were on patrol when Mrs.TikToker over there gave me a whole history on today’s terminology” You said with a laugh before slinging the bag on your shoulder, grabbing the keys to the condo. “Come on, so we can eat lunch on the beach and get those two little girls tired enough for when we get back....I want them to sleep through the whole night.” You declared as you followed behind Taishiro who opened the sliding door for you, stepping out onto the deck behind you, door locked.

“Come here my sweeties!” Taishiro belted out before bending down to lift up his two twin girls to sit upon his arms as he began to to descend down the steps, flip flops smack up and back onto his foot with each step, soon other snacks followed when the three others followed after him onto the hot, burning sand. Though once they reached the damper parts of the beach, the two young girls scrambled down to already pick a spot to begin building their epic sandcastles. His oldest already lounging about on a towel, back to her book she was engrossed in, second oldest soon scrounging around for shells to bring to the twins for their sandcastle.

Taishiro and you? The two of set your towels along side your daughter who was engrossed in her book. “Lunch is packed if you want to grab and go!” You called out to your kids, which they swarmed to grab their bagged sandwiches and drinks before bolting back to their activities. Taishiro was already happily munching on his own sandwich, eyes taking in the nice familial scene that was before him of his beautiful family. You let out a sigh of content as you let your head rest upon the stiff muscles upon his shoulder as you also took in the nice sight before you as well.

“Now this was a much needed vacation...” sighed out Taishiro happily as he wrapped an arm around your, looking down at you lovingly. “Long over due.” He added, to which you nodded your head in agreement.

“I thought I was never going to get some time like this with you always at work and what not.” You pointed out, already fishing out your own food to eat.

“Yeah....I know, but for here on out, this is going to top priority.” He said in an almost pledge like manner as he rose his hand for good measure, though the voice of one of the twins caught his attention.

“Daddy! Can you help me? I can’t hit the bottom of the bucket right to get all the sound out properly.” They spoke out frantically as they watched the sand crumble at the top of their castle. Tiashiro only let out a laugh as he lifted himself up from the towel, walking over to them and kneeling down.

“Trouble you say? Well you called the right hero, let’s see what I can do” he assured as he began to help refill the bucket with sand.

“When is the next time we can do this with dad?” Piped up the voice from your daughter beside you, her hands placed gently upon the pages of her book to keep her place. You smiled though and passed your hand lovingly through her hair

“I’m sure a lot more now, but don’t worry over it, continue your book sweetie....”
