Hi!! I absolutely love your stories! I was wondering if you could write a story about Bakugou having a younger sister (like 12 yo or something) and she gets to tag along with her brother for the day. However, she thinks he's "old and lame" and says stuff like that to him, but she talks about how cool everyone else is. And say someone like monoma makes her cry, and bakugou just immediately swoops in to protect her, and he becomes her hero.

Sorry for the lengthy request!

Family Visit

A/n: I am soooo bad at writing. It's actually insane, hopefully it’s good enough though!

Cw:Fem reader, reader is 12 and adopted, also hinted at having bad foster homes previously, and is a bit of social butterfly, hurt to comfort fluff at the very end, OOC bakugou, minor swearing

It really all started when Bakugou's mom and dad realized that they hadn't gone out for a vacation in a while. One of their kids was busy getting settled into his dorm, the other, far smaller, far nicer one, was just easing back into school after summer break. add the fact that both of them were quite busy at work, then it became apparent that they had been neglecting their lovely little relationship.

Of course, it seems natural that they would go out, perhaps to a little resort in the countryside, where they could relax in nature and decompress together. It seemed nice, for the two of them.

There was one problem however, Little old Y/n. Sweet Little Y/n, their adopted daughter. She was, what one may call, a bit of a cry baby, like her father in that way, she never did like being away from family for too long, not that she'd ever truly admit it, having been neglected by her previous "families".

Thankfully, they had one last family member that could stay with her so that Misuki and Masaru could go on vacation like they wanted to; Katsuki Bakugou.

That's why they were here now, they had packed up everything for a comfortable weekend at the UA dorms all into two neat bags, Masaru handed one over to Y/n.

"listen, I now your older brother can be a little bit of a sour puss, but I promise you, that he does care. so- can you be good kiddo?" he said.

and with a look that held no true malice, she groaned out a "FINNEEE."

she said just as Bakugou showed up on the front porch to pick her up. This time, it was Mitsuki that talked. "Katsuki, I swear to God, if this kid doesn't come back in one piece I'm going to break your arm, GOT THAT?!"

"Whatever you old Hag! just run off already."

"WHAT DID YOU JUsT CALL ME!!?"

"YOU DEAF NOW TOO???"

You know, a normal conversation in their household, while Masaru and (Y/n) stand off to the side, not willing to possibly get hurt in the crossfire.

It wasn't too long before the Bakugou parents said goodbye to their children and drove away in their car, excited for a vacation. Besides, it should be fine, they were only going away for a weekend anyways, and Bakugou was training to become a hero! He lived with heroes too!

They should be fine. With that, they left little Y/n and the big scary Kasuki, alone.

-well, not entirely alone-

"Hey bakubro! where those your parents that you were talking to- oh, hey!" Kirishima said as he carried his bowl of cereal out onto the porch.

"Who's this little lady?" The red haired boy crouched down to her level to look her in the eye to greet her. He smiled, a sharp, toothy, sweet smile

"My adopted sister" Bakugou hissed out, he took her other bag in his arm, "c'mon, Y/n, lemme show you my dorm so you don't get lost." He expected that Y/n would follow him, and that he would show her his room and let her play games on his phone for the majority of the day while he caught up on homework.

Y/n after all, was a pretty nice kid, he doesn't remember her making too much of a fuss during their time together as siblings. But just because that's what was expected does not mean that that's what happened.

"Hi! I'm Y/n, who are you?"

"I'm Kirishima! I'm one fo Bakubro's friends."

"Oh, you're spiky hair, Katsuki talks about you when he comes over."

"Yeah, that would be me alright, manliest guy around!"

Their chatter was lost on Bakugou, as he watched one of his best friends have more conversation with his sister than he had in the past year at the dorms.

It was an odd sight, Bakugou never had truly been one to have a close relationship with his sister, nor have talked to her too much.

And the more he saw her chatting with Kirishima, and then, when they went inside to meet the rest of his friends, the weirder it seemed to him. Next thing you know, she’s talking with pink cheeks and Yayorozu about fashion. Then with Sero about some random movie she saw last week. And somehow she got to Aizawa Sensei, and was talking with him about cats.

What could Bakugou do? He promised himself that he wouldn’t lose his temper, not in front of Y/n anyway. Who knew that she was this social? Hell, he’s pretty sure she’s talked with mere strangers in one day more than he’s spoken to her ever.

But what can he do? tell her to stop talking with others and to shut up? Well, he could, but it probably wouldn’t fly well with his mom.

That’s how most of the day went, Bakugou would bring her along on whatever chores and errands and everything that he had to do that day, and she would talk non-stop with everyone she met to along the way.

Bakugou tried his hardest not to start yelling. I mean, it’s just weird, isn’t it? How come she likes literally everyone else more than she likes him? He’s supposed to be her older brother, what kind of a sister doesn’t even spare him more than a glance on one of the few days that they’ve truly had together? A bad one, to him, but one he sort of loves nevertheless.

So he stays quiet, until he finally manages to get some time alone with her in his dorm. Finally, he can catch up with her. No one to bother them, just pure brother-sister bonding time as mom would have called it.

At 7 pm, he sat her down at his desk while he brought out some fluffy pillows and blankets. He even bought her favorite movie on his laptop for her, they could watch it together. He never did like the movie, but it’s only a couple hours of pain followed by a very happy sister. She used to love it when she was younger.

In an attempt to strike up a conversation he started with “So… Y/n, how’s school going?”

“Umm, it’s fine.”

“Well… are you having trouble with classes or people or anything?”

“No, I’m- I’m okay”

“Alright…”

“...”

It was at this given moment, Bakugou was really wondering if it’d be easier if he just told mom and dad to leave her at grandma’s house.

“...Your friends are really nice.” She started this time.

“Yeah?”

“Yeah! Kiri and Todoroki especially! I also really liked talking with Deku again, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen him. He’s still a nerd but a much stronger and cooler one, you know? and - and Kaminari, he can power up cellphones and electronics and stuff with his quirk! Isn’t that cool? I can’t believe you get to hang out with these guys all day, they’re awesome.”

“Yeah, well, what about me..?”

With a laugh and smile she said “you? no offense katsuki, but you’re kinda lame compared to these guys.”

“Wait- what?”

“Yeah, you’re all old now, you're not that much fun anymore. Besides, you never come by the house anymore- what, what are you doing? Kasuki!”

Bakugou by now had started pushing the poor girl out of his dorm and towards the door. “Kicking an ungrateful brat out of my room that’s what!”

“What the hell! Why are you acting like this?”

“You know why! Now out!”

“But-”

“Out!” and with that, Bakugou shut the door of his room in his sister’s face, leaving her to strom out the hall, and eventually, out of the building.

Instead of waiting around in the hallway, she opted to sit outside on the porch. Sometime along the way, when she didn’t even notice, she started to cry. No one bothered to follow her, too busy stuck in their own worlds.

And it’s like this that little Y/n found herself crying on the steps to the UA dorms all alone. She hated- hated being alone.

It was like this for a little while, her sniffling into her hands, occasionally mumbling a “Stupid Katsuki, stupid mom, stupid dad.” mainly stupid Katsuki.

That is- until a figure sauntered up the street. UA workout uniform, water bottle and duffle bag in hand. She couldn’t see the face. As the figure approached a lamp that illuminated his face, his blonde hair simply glimmered.

Though, he didn’t appear to be anyone you’ve met yet, maybe he was from class 1B? What’s the point anyways,not like he's gonna help. And help he didn’t.

“You there! Little girl, why are you crying? Did somebody take your blanket or something.” He yelled out.

“Oh leave me alone! I’m not little, it's none of your business!”

“Oh hell no!, why are you outside the UA dorms, weak little things like you don’t belong here anyways, outside the 1A dorms too, don’ t you know that those losers simply can’t do anything right?-" The stranger just kept ballbering, and blabbering tends not to be one of those things that help when you’re crying.

In fact, in Y/n’s case, it just made it worse, and worse, and worse. Her eyes were red by the end of it. Again, the stranger would just not stop blabbering!

At least that is until “Oi Monoma, the hell you doin’ here? And what are you doing with my damn sister!?”

“Bakuogu? Sister? Hah! So that’s why she’s crying, she’s sad she’s related to a weakling like you!”

“Watch it!”

“No!”

“Why you little-!” and with that, all it took was an explosion powered punch to the stomach to get rid of him.

“Ah! What the hell! Fuck, this isn’t over!”

“Yeah! Yeah! just go, and get the hell away from my sister you asshole!” With that, Monoma scampered off, probably to snitch to a teacher.

Bakugou turned back to Y/n. “Are you okay?” she shook her head no.

“Listen” he started, sitting down next to her on the steps, “I’m really sorry- it was a dick move of me to get so mad at you, s’just that I barely see you these days, was hoping we could talk and chill like we used to. But you’re all grown now- and- it just feels like you don’t need me anymore.”

“...”

“Yeah, I’m sorry.” he finished.

Y/n wiped at her tears, Bakugou stopped her though.”Here- lemme um, get that f’you.”

he brought out a tissue from his pocket and wiped them away for her, one hand tilting her cheek up, the other dabbing at her cheeks gently. It was like this that –Suddenly!

Suddenly, He found himself wrapped up in a hug, tight one, one where she cried into his neck for a good 2 minutes

“I’m sorry too Kats! It’s been so long since I’ve seen you and it feels like I don’t know you- and- and- it’s like you hate me so I guess that you don’t-" most of her words were lost on him, between sobs and sniffles that all he could really figure out.

"Hey, Hey! Kid, slow down. One thing at a time, how about that. An apology accepted…

I guess we both fucked up.”

This time, she nodded yes into his now tear stained shirt. Bakugou let out a sigh. “How about we- um, watch a movie, and eat some food first, then we talk? Does that sound good? Yeah, let's go inside."

And really, that’s what they did, watched a movie and ate some food- and–talked. As siblings tend to do. And while it may not have been easy nor fun, it was to mend, and to help, and to hopefully, teach.

Monoma: “I’m telling you Vlad sensei! Bakugou is a danger to the student body!”

Vlad King: “Well then you probably shouldn't have gone around mocking his sister MONOMA.”

CW: just fluff mainly, perhaps some swear words here and there. FEM Reader in mind, but any gender could work for this one.

Kastuki Bakugou

He's very stingy about it, he says that it makes you look like a walking blanket monster.

he also hates how you don't come to him for warmth anymore, instead going to that damn hoodie.

though, he will admit (in his head) that you DO look very cute.

He's secretly planning on getting you an Oodie with his hero logo on it, only the best for you.

but for the time being he'll settle for "misplacing" hiding it so that you'll have to cuddle up to him instead if you're cold.

Shoto Todoroki

he blinks in half confusion, half wonder, the first time he sees you in it.

He doesn't quite understand the purpose of it, I mean, if you're cold, why not turn up the thermostat or curl up with a blanket.

but who is he to judge you for you preferances?

again, like bakugou, he's a little upset that you wouldn't come curl up to his warm side when you're cold.

and while you're not looking, he'll actually try it on to see if it's really that comfortable, spoiler alert, it is, he wants one of his own now.

Izuku Midoriya

he thinks you look adorable in it!

has to resist squishing your cheeks and cooing at you 24/7.

if you start wearing it a little too much though, say, when it's supposed to be cuddle time, and say anything along the lines of "No, I can't, it'll be too hot if I cuddle with you and the Oodie, I'll heat up!"

then suddenly that Oodie's his sworn enemy.

purposely turns up the AC so you don't have to get out of your Oodie if you wanna cuddle.

Tenya Iida

again, a man that thinks you look cute in it.

actually, I feel like he'd be the one to buy it for you.

I mean, he's a very attentive person, so if he notices you have a penchant for cute and comfy things (think plush house slippers, big thick blankets, plushies) then'd he'd probably buy it for you.

not the type to really get jealous over it though like bakugou and izuku.

if anything, he'll get one of his own like shoto.

Ochako Uraraka

she definitely has one!

I can imagine that you can her bought 2 matching ones so that you could match during your at home hangouts like movie nights.

she'd also be the type to cozy up in them during winter, she probably has seasonal variantions actually.

not much to say about this gal, she's just very happy and very cozy, and she's happy that you are too.

Ejiro Kirishima

He's arguably the one that that's most happy about it!

I can imagine that he has a tendency to accidentally activate his quirk around you because he's just that excited to see you, and of course that could lead to some problems.

particualarly during hugs or while cuddling.

so he's very happy that he can finally hug you and not hurt you if he activates his quirk, the oddie'll soften his rough edges and keep you safe.

he also thinks you look very cute!

Hitoshi Shinsou

please, that's HIS Oodie.

I can imagine that he already had a bunch before you came along,

I mean, tell me that that man doesn't have a closet full of blankets and comfy pajamas, that's right, you can't.

though, he doesn't really mind, just tell him before you snag one for yourself.

definately another person to buy you your own if you look at him with that cute look on your face. (you aren't actually making a face, you just look adorable to him 24/7)

Neito Monoma

probably the meanst about it.

says you look homeless, that you have no class, blah blah blah.

in reality, he's just upset whenever you play attention to anything that ISN'T him.

he's the type to throw it away or hide it when you aren’t looking.

but at the same time, he'd probably buy you another one as a gift, but it HAS to have either 1. his face, or 2. his hero logo

Dabi of his child came out quirkless?

Sorry to be replying so late, college has been an absolute NIGHTMARE recently, so I'll answer this real quick.

I'm not planning to have the reader be quirkless in my story, so this is more so hypothetical.

HE IS OVERJOYED.

he never wanted for you to have his quirk, because to him it was his quirk and his father that caused his death, hence he hates both.

and for you to not have the thing that caused his downfall, to him, is essentially a miracle.

it also means that you probably won't ever be a hero, which is really just a bonus for him!

Oh my gosh, yes! you may and I'd love for you to be 🍦 anon! and I'm so happy to hear that my blog has become a safe space for you! I remember when I was younger, I was the one looking for platonic Dabi fics and at some point, I just went fuck it and started my own blog so I could yap about what I like to read. and it's just so nice to know that there are other people out there, like me, who go searching for this stuff.

and no promises about teen!reader and Oldman!Dabi. all that I will say is that reader does visit him in the hospital in aftermath of the final war arc. they're still a family, albeit, a bigger and far more broken one.

I'm pretty sure that Dabi believes that he is one of the ugliset things on the planet because of his scars so I don't think that he'd go out of this way to date anyone

this is amplified when he becomes a better known as a villain and criminal, for surely if he came that close of a civillain, they would probably report him to the police and heros.

that said, I don't think that he'd be one to date fellow villains either.

I mean think about it, he's alreadly to invested in his need for revenge and the missions that he has to go on to help shiggy with whatever crazy stunt that he has planned this week.

and then add his CHILD, Y/N, and you've got a man that has absolutely no time in his life for romance let alone a partner.

Introducing them to you is also a MAJOR no go.

this goes for anyone really that isn't one of your classmates or your teachers.

and of course he wouldn't date a hero for obvious reasons.

If he was dating a civillain (not that he would), then that civillain, should they choose to report him to the police, could meant that you'd be taken away.

And surely if the police take a DNA test and find out that endeavour is the grandfather, they're going to put you in Endavour's care.

Yeah, he's not about to let his abuser be the one to raise you while he rots in prison.

and if it's a villain that he's dating (again, not that he really would), then that could introduce you to even more villainy!

as mentioned previously in one of my extra content blurbs for this series, all he wants to do is make the world a better place for you and to get his revenge on his father. simple buisness.

hence why he needs you to get a good education, stay out of trouble, sit pretty and do whatever it is your little heart desires while he takes care of everything else.

AKA, don't go rouge and beat people up, don't be robbing banks, don't try and fight heros, PLEASE don't start resenting him and yelling out the infamous "I wish you weren't my dad!" mid argument.

if he even has a single doubt that his partner's trying to get you involved more into villainy than you already are (which in his mind, is just hating heros)

then immediate break up.

it's even worse is his partner is a dangerous villain with a track record of hurting/not caring for children, he's not going to risk that!

and worse if his partner has wayyy to many enemies, which in that case, puts you at risk of being used for ransom or as bait.

Yeah, no, he's not dating anyone anytime soon.

now regarding wheater or not reader hates heros like her dad or has a guilty pleasure hero is a little iffy expecially considering that reader is canonically 4 years old in my universe.

All reader's brain can comprehend at the moment though is that hero = dad upsetti-spaghetti so that means hero = bad.

Dad told her to stay away from people in flashy suits, so she stays away.

Dad told her that they're mean, so she doesn't talk to them.

Dad told her that they'll hurt her, so she never goes near them.

yeah, her classmates at preschool think that it's a little weird that she doesn't like heros, and never wants to talk about them. but that's okay, she's still very nice and fun to play with.

she just hates whoever her dad hates, you know?

As for guilty pleasure heros.... hmmm...

Cementoss, the literal cement block guy, but ONLY because of his absolutely fantastic juice boxes.

yeah that one.

otherwise, she generally likes heros who she thinks are 1. cute, and 2. her dad hasn't trash talked yet.

think recovery girl, the wild,wild pussycats, etc.

I Could! Shinsou's actually one of my favorite characters, and I really wish he got more screen time in the anime.

but what would you like? you're going to have to be a lot more specific.

Headcanons, a blurb, or a whole fic?

how old are they?

what MHA arc is this going to be set in? if its set during the time of MHA at all?

how to shinsou and reader know each other?

what is the end goal?

what are the reader's defining features? (ex. their quirk)

you see, you're going to have to far more specific, I'd love to a shinsou x reader, but please note that I'm far more comfortable writing platonic fluffy things, and I'd rather have a clear request with a clear objective rather then just "shinsou x reader."

I'm REALLY sorry if I'm being passive aggressive, I don't mean to be, but I do want to know what you'd like to read rather than taking a wild guess and possibly getting it wrong.

oh hi hello yes yes, please ignore the fact that it's taken me 6 months to get to you I am very sorry, I was NOT feeling the best these past few months but I've got my spirit back, but I do like this ask and do not have the heart to delate it so...

TW: Canon typical violence probs, I mean it's Dabi he's a warning of his own, I'll try and keep it fluffy, a little swearing, platonic x reader!

it's dabi!

I actually touched on his very, very lightly in endeavour's intro/headcanons

(and I also do plan on adding this as an event in my Dad! Dabi series, so excuse me if I'm being vague I don't want to give you spoilers to those who don't want it)

I quote "reader is 4 and gets her quirk in the story. her quirk is a heightened version of shoto’s quirk which I’ll expand on if this is the fan favorite."

And since clearly, it IS a fan favorite I'll expand.

Essenially, reader's quirk allows her to control the temperature of nearly everything around her, not limited to freezing water (ice) or super heating fire (Dabi's blue flames)

say, she could increase the body temp of her foe to cause a heat wave

or chill the air so that heat related quirk's (for example bakugou's explosions) would make less an impact.

I haven't worked out the details too much, I'd be open to hearing your guy's thoughts on all this.

but for the sake of staying on topic, let's say it starts with a regular old red flame popping out of nowhere one day,

Dabi would immediately lose his shit.

I'm not kidding, his first reaction is to panic, his second is to try and calm you down.

holds you and hugs you as if it's the end of the world

even if you're not upset, he'll act as if you're dying!

and since I can't tell you all too many details.

Instead, I'll tell you his thoughts.

"fuck, fuck! she'll burn herself! we need to get quirk cancellers, or something! oh God, it's over. it's over, she's gonna want to be a hero, then- then she'll get a boyfriend won't she- and then she's gonna DIE"

he's a little delusional, but nevertheless, lovingly delusional.

He tells you it's not good to use your quirk, that it's dangerous, and if you do "I'm going to be very sad, you don't want me sad do you?"

at some point, he'll tell you that the reason he's all purple stapled, is because a hero burned him with their fire, and that's why he hates heros and hates fire, even his own quirk.

he says that's the reason he never uses his quirk, and why you shouldn't either.

essenially gaslighting you into thinking that is power you have can only be used for evil purposes.

of course however that can all change if you meet the rest of your family....

I'll leave it there, I hope this was entertaining to SOMEONE out there
