HELLO i wanted to leave these as tags but i need you to know that fashion designer Argenti modern au has changed the trajectory of my life and i want to bother you abt it so IMAGINE
just...argenti w messy hair and a pin cushion on his wrist and several pins in his mouth trying to figure out where the cutouts go. Maybe you spent the night in his studio because he's working way past his usual hours due to his current order being special and he just has to get everything right.
Imagine helping him out and making sure he doesn't exhaust himself, reminding him to take frequent breaks and sometimes even having to force him to lie down for a bit. oh and giving him snacks every time you visit !! He's too scared too eat them because it's a gift how could he :( so he keeps them in a small glass bowl on the counter. You're a little sad he doesn't eat them but occasionally a customer would ask if they could have one and it makes their day, so you really don't mind. And it makes you feel like you're more involved, sometimes the studio feels like your home just as much as it does to Argenti and you couldn't be happier.
Just domestic life w Designer Argenti...
ok byeee and THANK YOU
thank u for bothering me with this arghhh i adore domestic things he’d literally look so pretty with the pin cushion and eveything too oh my GOD imagine he has like a lil couch in his office but a lot of the time he also ends up there cus it’s too late to go back home ???? and the little snack bowl is so cute ughhhhhh ,,,,; i never imagined him as much of a workaholic idk why but i can totally see him working way past office hours to make each design the best for his client !! thank u for making me think about this more op

muse intros part 2 yee yee
yejun roh
Tumblr media
he’s basically just another one of my jin fcs so idk what to tell u fam
he has a pretty basic upbringing tbh ??? his parents are chill and work decent jobs and they were always fairly middle class ?? they didn’t stand out too much
they also come from gardeniaville aka where briar’s from so he grew up knowing her
except yejun made himself stand out bc he’s fuckin yejun and needs to be Stopped at all times
he knew from a young age that he was adorable and handsome and it kinda inflated his ego a bit and sure some people hated him for it but most people found it funny bc he wasn’t a dick about it he just made jokes and shit
he found himself doing some part time modelling when he was in high school, and he definitely enjoyed it and would have gone down just that route had it not been for an incident during his third modelling gig
basically he saw the outfit and was just “ooooh it’s pretty !! though i would’ve done this.....and this and this..........
the designer wasn’t offended tho and was just “you have a good eye boi maybe you should be a designer yourself
and the clouds parted and the light rained down and suddenly yejun knew exactly what he wanted to do in life
it actually wasn’t long before he rose to fame as both a designer and a model bc his confidence in his own abilities as well as his general appearance was through the roof sO
he now owns a brand simply named roh yejun, or rojun for short
he’s willing to work with just about anyone tho some people tend to avoid him bc he’s dramatic af which is valid tbh
like this is the guy who will make himself the star of his own fashion show and ensure that rose petals are falling down around him as he struts it down the runway i s2g
he has definitely shouted “THIS IS A GAY’S ONLY EVENT GO HOME” more than once
he knows that magic and all that jazz exists, but he believes that there’s always a science behind it, so he’s a certain brand of sceptic, like he needs to see it to believe it
potential connections & stuff !!
he’s probably worked with anyone famous sO mostly stuff with that tbh
portia galexia
Tumblr media
alien princess !!
she’s from the planet lucaura which is a very magical planet that has a very strong connection with the stars and the various constellations in whatever galaxy they happen to be in
lucaura’s magic is very strong and a single (though well practiced) spell by the king or queen can send the entire planet into another galaxy, which is something they tend to do if their current position is threatened
this is how they ended up near earth, as the argenti had attempted to invade them and the royal family were having none of that, and so they spelled the planet to wherever the magic would take them, and thus they ended up close to earth. this was just over a year before the argenti stumbled upon earth themselves
the lucaurans are peaceful and diplomatic people, and so they sent their daughter portia down as a mediator in negotiations
they didn’t really have to try hard as earth as we know it has some strange and magical people, and so it wasn’t hard for her to be accepted, and portia was able to strike a deal where lucaura would protect earth in the case of danger and vice versa
portia is a very generous and kind individual, but can also be optimistically stubborn. if she thinks something can be fixed by her hand, she’ll make sure she does just that as soon as possible, and she can have a one track mind at times
she actually really likes it on earth and spends a lot of her time there. she initially lived near the space port downtown, but that became an infected zone pretty quickly, and so she lives in a skyscraper right by it
her parents made the decision to not tell the earthlings about their history with the argenti, a decision portia didn’t really agree with, but she trusts her judgement and instead focuses on ensuring the safety of the earthlings and the lucaurans
ever since she was young, she’s focused a lot on her magic, and so she has very strong powers that she gathers from the stars. they’re stronger at night for obvious reasons
her magic can be pretty op in terms of what she CAN do but there are definitely things that are generally forbidden in lucauran law, such as resurrection, murder, summoning the dead in any capacity, basically anything that is considered disrespectful is a big ‘no-no’
they don’t count killing argenti monsters as murder tho so go wild i guess
possible connections & stuff !!
if you’re a leader or hero of some kind, she’s probably at least met you once since she’s always trying to help and make connections
her attendant aka the sort of ?? official ?? who came down w/ her to earth bc those are the Rules yeet skeet
levi royce
Tumblr media
an orphan boi
levi has absolutely no idea where he came from or who his real parents are or even what his birthday is but he’s roughly 18 so ??
he was left on the front steps of anna’s home when he was a wee bab and there was nothing to tie him to who tf he was so he didn’t have a name or birth certificate or aNYTHING
his name was given to him by one of the people who work there, and he was sORT OF adopted at that moment ?? but he lived in the orphanage bc his adoptive mother lived in the orphanage, and even then it was just this agreement that this child was the orphanage baby and he was everyone’s son
levi didn’t really question it until he was quite a bit older, about eight or nine, and they pretty much told him the truth bc he was pretty mature for his age and could take it
while he didn’t show it, it actually really affected him bc at least some of the other kids had a vague idea of where they’d come from, but not him apparently, he was a mystery
he refused to reveal how he felt to anyone tho bc he’d already made a name for himself as being the big brother to everyone in the orphanage, the one all the kids could rely on to be there with advice or a bedtime story, and he didn’t want to show weakness in front of them
while he’s a relatively calm person he goes into angry protective mode when the orphanage or the residents of it are threatened like he’s not playing he has a sword and he wILL use it
the day the argenti came, he’d had a really bad feeling, especially when the clouds starting coming in, and so he’d told the other kids to stay inside. sure enough, then came the argenti
he wasn’t able to save all of the kids tho as one of them went missing and he has no idea where they are, but he once again refuses to show his worry
he’s the type of guy who’s really soft around those he considers his family but can seem kinda distant to strangers, but that’s because he can be a bit distrustful at first
he absolutely sings the kids to sleep he has a heavenly voice
but he’s also kind of a dumbfuck with no sense of self preservation sometimes as well as being completely and utterly oblivious like jfc
possible connections & stuff !!
gimme more orphans like it doesn’t matter if they’re older or younger he’ll look after all of them ok
micah gilligan
Tumblr media
speaking of dumbasses
micah is basically the epitome of a dumb teen he’s just ?? niCER THAN MOST I GUESS ??
he was (and still is tbh) the neighbourhood kid who would try stupid stunts and break his arms every month or so without giving a fuck like i s2g he’s immune to the pain to this point why is he like this
he lives in the cul-de-sac w/ the other kids there and grew up there from the time he was a wee bab so he ofc knows remy and thinks of him as his older brother of sorts
he’s super friendly and gets along with most people even tho he’s, as we’ve established, dUMB
his parents are just waiting until he graduates and he goes off to college
when the argenti first made themselves known he was just “WHAT” like everyone else, but after that, he was determined to get in contact with them
he didn’t meet an argenti, per say, but he met one of the monsters the argenti had made from a few nearby bushes. needless to say, it didn’t end all that well for him, and he had to be treated for burns, but at least he wasn’t dead
that hasn’t deterred him, though, and he’s determined to be of sOME use in the fight, and so he lets fighters come into his home while his parents are out and makes sure they’re fed and well-cared for, even lets them sleep upstairs if they need it
once he gets one of siwoo’s weapons in his hands he’s gonna be unstoppable tbh he’s gonna gO FOR IT
honestly it’ll be a miracle if he doesn’t end up killed
despite all of this, once he does figure out that someone is upset for whatever reason, he ensures that he pays attention to them and gives them whatever they need if he’s able to and is just there for them in general
too bad he’s an oblivious little shit half the time
possible connections & stuff !!
hi i need more cul-de-sac crew kids asap i want them All
any fighter around the suburbs that he could’ve helped !! he’s pretty friendly with all the people who have set up camp in their little enclosed area so !!
paige park
Tumblr media
yall know my girl it’s been a while
she works for the agency that doesn’t have a proper name bc they’re that secretive that they’re just “the agency”
her parents were both agents who met while working there and badabing badaboom paige is conceived
paige’s father didn’t agree with the experiments the agency was doing in the science department, the ones where they were attempting to combine human dna with animal dna to make shapeshifting hybrids, and so he called them out on their bullshit and booked it once he was labelled as a traitor
what happened to him afterwards is officially unknown by most, but many speculate that he was assassinated
as a big ‘fuck you’ to the guy who tried to ruin their precious experiments, the agency decided that they would make test subjects out of paige’s mother and paige herself after she was born
the experiment on her mother, the one that was conducted barely a day after paige was born, was almost a success, but there were several factors that caused the project to fail, notably the fact that her mother was still recovering from giving birth and that the animal dna wasn’t large enough in quantity to overpower her genetics. she died on the operating table
paige ended up being part of an experiment along with a bunch of other infants, and it’s only then that the experiment was a success and the scientists realised that they would need to inject the dna and ensure its spread during the first few years of life, around a few weeks to five years old, though ideally around the three year mark
and thus, paige the platypus was created
she’s a stellar agent and is considered one of the best in the field, though this often means her workload is tough
most of her jobs prior to the invasion kept her close to the agency downtown, and while she’s still in the downtown area now, she has to stretch herself pretty thin sometimes
since she has platypus dna she can turn into a platypus, though the only ability she retains in her human form is electroreception, which basically means she can sense shit underwater
she’s sorta known as a big sister among the other animal agents bc of her personality, she’s very much the mum friend
she has no idea what happened to her parents and is pretty obedient when it comes to the agency
possible connections & stuff !!
i’ll always love me some more animal agents
even tho she’s focused on the argenti that doesn’t mean she can’t see other criminals in action, she’s more the tailing type tho sO she might stalk some shady people just :eyes emoji:
margaret corrs
Tumblr media
she’s trying her best
maggie’s always been the responsible one out of her and her sister and that’s been the case since they were little
what she diDN’T expect was that she would end up becoming her sister’s legal guardian when their parents went missing under suspicious circumstances
her parents both worked for a well off family and her mother was a secretary and her father was a driver so they’re pretty much invisible workers ?? not that they’re unappreciated or anything it’s just that people tend to have conversations in front of them as if they aren’t there
aNYWAY one day they went to work but ended up not coming home which was of course sUPER concerning and so she went to the police to file the missing person’s report
long story short, she was to look after violet while the police did their investigation, but for a year and a half it was a constant string of no-shows and dead leads and shoddy police work and maggie was growing tired of it
she was already studying journalism so it wasn’t hard for her to become interested in investigative journalism and she used the skills she learned to start looking for hERSELF why her parents disappeared
the argenti attacked before she could get very far tho
and now that vi has gone missing she’s looking for her too and she’s stressed and feels terrible bc her entire family is gone why couldn’t i help them
she isn’t doing anything sUPER crazy yet, just looking around and asking questions, but the more time spent without any word from any of her family members the more determined she’s gonna be
she has literally nO time for the argenti fam she has a family to find and those dumbass aliens aren’t gonna stop her
she’s a pretty no-nonsense person and the mama bear will come out if you even tHINK of hurting anyone close to her i dare u
she can defend herself aDEQUATELY but not amazingly
potential connections & stuff !!
tbh she’s probably questioned anyone and everyone so !! anYONE TBH
castanea primus
Tumblr media
succubus babie
except she’s not really a babie she’s just a Brat
after what happened to her parents back in the underland, castanea has always held a deep grudge against demons despite being one. as far as she’s concerned the only other demon she can trust is her older brother and everyone else can perish
that’s a major reason as to why when her brother moved away from the underland she was just “tAKE ME WITH YOU”, she really wanted out of there
some of her generalisations towards other demons have changed the way she sees herself, and so she doesn’t see herself as a good person in any capacity, so she doesn’t really try
upstanding citizen ?? what’s that ??
she’s not going around and doing crimes, but she just doesn’t care. she doesn’t care about school or how she’s going to get far in life. who needs to do that when you have the ability to charm someone into doing whatever you want them to ???
the daytime hours are when she acts the most human, going to school (most of the time) and spending most of her time with surface dwellers. her night time hours are usually spent at the club her brother works at, pestering him and anyone else who might come her way
tbh she can’t wait to be a hoe but only bc she wants to get stuff out of it
the argenti is something she tends to ignore for the most part, as in her opinion, her life on earth would likely just be cut short in some other way if they weren’t around, so why bother ??
very flippant about death as you can see, doesn’t really care if she lives or dies, but she isn’t about to tell anyone else that
she’s considered the ‘cool beauty’ type at school. beautiful, but hard for people to approach. she probably has a group of good friends but it’s unlikely that they know she’s a succubus
talks back to teachers with the most deadpan expression and calm voice
refuses to get Attached™
possible connections & stuff !!
fellow students !! her school friends !! even just people around the downtown area who know her !!
anyone she can get attached to, bc getting attached fUCKS HER UP

◤♛◢ — I N T R O D U C T I O N S. ✧
Tumblr media
we’re back on our bullshit, laid ease ! lets mf GO !
Tumblr media
ASTRAEUS ZOSIA.
crown prince of the dragons !
dragons have been hunted for centuries, almost to the point of extinction, due to the value and magical qualities of their scales ( or, in human form, their hair ! ), their wings, and, for some dragons, their horns.
it is because of this that the dragons are a very closed off, reclusive species. they tend to keep solely to themselves and each other --- they’re untrusting of most non-dragons, unless one has proven themselves to be worthy of their trust.
it is for this reason that astraeus is also perceived to be reclusive --- no one outside of the dragon society has ever seen the crown prince ( or so people think ! ) and, thus, no one knows what he looks like or who he is.
it is for this reason that astraeus is able to sneak out into normal society, concealing his identity by going only by “astra” and never mentioning his species, let alone his title.
he is very pampered, a bit of a spoiled brat, the prized possession of the dragons since he’s the heir.
on that note, he’s expected to be perfect --- prim and proper, absolutely captivating, and he is supposed to remain hidden away from the entirety of the remainder of the world ( the crown prince of the dragons is by far the most valuable, after all ! ).
thus, him venturing out into normal society is absolutely forbidden and he could get into worlds of trouble if he was ever found out.
when he does go out into normal society, amongst all of the other creatures and species, he takes on the persona of a witch, seeing as he practises both white and black magic in his free time.
his general persona and overall aesthetic, especially when he’s out in the world, is very soft, he has a very magical air to him, easily described as ethereal --- twinkerbell !
despite being so pampered and spoiled in the dragon society, all he truly wishes is to be treated as someone’s equal, as opposed to being praised and put on a pedestal for every little thing he does. he simply wants a companion ( dragons are intended to be very needy, affectionate creatures, after all ).
as much as he prides himself on being the treasure of the dragons, he also finds himself wishing that he and his subjects didn’t have to hide, but he knows how dangerous it may be for them to come out of hiding, so he doesn’t question it.
thus, he tends to live an extremely lonely life.
his scales are an iridescent purple !
his hair is an iridescent purple !
his left eye is gold and his right eye is purple !
Tumblr media
ZARIN SEASONAIRE.
y’all know this b*tch !
crown prince of the demons !
he is half-demon/half-fae, which is an absolutely messy and dangerous combination ! he’s entirely op, uses his magic/powers for evil brought on my misplaced trust and ignorance !
he was brought up under the impression that he’s far better than everybody, including his siblings, in every possible way. thus, this caused a divide between him and pretty much everyone he could have possibly had a relationship with.
as much as his father insisted that he was important, a prized possession because he was the heir to the throne, zarin was also ... somewhat neglected for a lot of his life. he was raised solely to be the heir, solely to take the throne and to be exactly as his father is, so he lacks a lot of humane skills that he should otherwise obtain; proper morals, empathy for most people, a conscience.
his siblings died, his father didn’t care and insisted that he shouldn’t care either. thus, as upset as he was by the entire occurrence, he convinced himself that it was fine, that it happened for a reason, that he didn’t care.
he’s a bit ... fucked in the head due both to his upbringing as a whole and the death of his siblings. the years of trauma he’s gone through has absolutely done a number on him.
on that note, he’s chaotic evil ! but don’t worry ! literally someone just needs to ... convince him that he’s more than his father and that his title doesn’t define him ! and then he will be a soft pouty, but still chaotic babie !
he’s a bit forced to stay in ... whatever we’re calling the land of the demons, though he is occasionally allowed up to the surface to scope out whatever’s going on up ton per his father’s orders, and he sneaks up to the surface for his own enjoyment sometimes, as well.
he treats everyone like they’re his servants & playthings ! he’s the worst !
he’s the embodiment of sin !
in reality, though, he ... genuinely just craves affection, just wants to loved and cared for for real, but he would never admit that ! because hot take: he doesn’t believe he can love ! doesn’t even think he has emotions or feelings at all !
he’s ... messy. love him at your own risk !
he’ll bite you if you call him anything other than “zazzy” !
he teleports via smoke-travel !
his smoke is gold !
his hair is dark brown !
his eyes are bright gold !
Tumblr media
AMBROSE SEASONAIRE.
y’all know this babie !
when he was alive, he was half-demon/half-fae ! now, he’s a ghost !
when the argenti first invaded, he and hestia went out to fight, thinking that they would be able to defeat them since they were op as hell demon/fae and all, but, alas, they were killed and now reside in the afterlife as ghosts !
it wasn’t surprising that ambrose died in the fight, seeing as he has never been all too keen on controlling his magic/powers.
while growing up, he was neglected by his father due to not being the heir to the throne ! he wasn’t necessarily treated badly by his father, but ... he wasn’t treated great by any means, either.
thus, due to the way he was brought up, he’s very ... messy, but in a soft way !
he has a stutter, he’s very shy and reluctant about everything, very awkward, overall an antisocial crybaby.
he was bullied when he was alive, ever since he was a child, due to his awkward and oversensitive tendencies. he was even bullied by his own identical twin brother at times !
he kind of ... tends to cling to his twin sister, which he feels bad for and does his best to stop doing, but he just ... feels safest and most comfortable when around her.
now that he’s dead, he simply tries to blend into the background as much as possible. he doesn’t want to be noticed, doesn’t want attention on him anymore; he seldom ever talks to anyone, especially people who are still alive.
he doesn’t see himself as anything special --- he’s not magnificent and popular like his sister is, he’s not powerful and important like his brother is; he can’t even control the way he speaks, let alone his own magic. there’s nothing special about him.
it’s because of this view of himself that he is ... a bit sad. he unintentionally takes on a melancholic air.
he doesn’t think he’s worthy of love or affection, he doesn’t think he’s worthy of much --- he somewhat feels like he deserved to die, just so that he wouldn’t be in people’s way anymore.
he’s just ... a lonely, messy, soft kid !
he’s also a gay lil twink ! doesn’t know he’s gay, though !
he just wants to be called “rosie” !
his hair is dark brown !
his eyes are a dull gold !
Tumblr media
PARISA EAE.
a fallen angel !
angels are winged sky nymphs, formed from the fluffiest pieces of clouds and brought to life by the first light of day that the sun shines upon them on the morning of their creation, made with the intention of watching over earth and inspiring good and beauty.
parisa, however, was brought to life not by the light of a sunrise, but instead by the life of a sunset mixed with moonlight. this, unfortunately, skewed with the light and purity that she, as an angel, was intended to obtain.
despite her skewed purity, the other angels decided to make an attempt at teaching her the ways of the sky.
throughout her childhood and adolescence, she would try her best to follow the other angels in their good deeds, aiming to spread the love and light and beauty that she knew she was meant to spread and inspire.
all of her attempted good deeds, however, tended to end in disaster. if she tried to inspire love, it would result in hate. if she tried to inspire beauty, it would result in fear.
she never understood what was so wrong with her compared to all of the other angels, but she did her absolute best to be as akin to them as she possibly could.
when she turned eighteen, however, and her ability to inspire beauty and good still had yet to change, the angels decided that they could not afford to have her tainting all of their purity and hard work.
thus, they cast her out of the sky, deeming her a fallen angel.
ever since she has fallen, she has grown rather bitter about her fall, yet she also blames herself for it, as she still doesn’t know that her anatomy and dna was entirely skewed upon her creation.
she tends to be a bit reticent, not wanting to get close to people for fear of causing misfortune to them, as well.
since her fall, though, she has taken a love for modelling and fashion, taking on both modelling and fashion designing as her careers.
even though she knows she can do no true good, she still tries her hardest to inspire people through her modelling and designing and influence in whatever ways she possibly can.
she strives to know why she is so different from all of the other angels, but has long since stopped trying to find out.
she is ... vain, because she’s pretty and she knows it !
her hair is a peach/strawberry blonde colour !
her eyes are a silvery sky blue !
Tumblr media
KINGSLEY LEVANE.
witch boy who spends all of his freetime on alchemy !
his mother died upon his birth.
upon the invasion, despite his father explicitly warning him not to get involved or go anywhere near the aliens or their infection, kingsley took an interest in the argenti, wanting to study them to find out more about their anatomy, their powers, their intentions, everything about them.
thus, he started collecting as much information on them as he could --- he even took samples of their slime when he came across it to do experiments on.
as a result of a chemical experiment with the slime gone wrong, kingsley nearly died in his laboratory one night, but, fortunately and unfortunately, his father entered the room just in time to shove kingsley out of the way before the slime could touch him and, in turn, took his place.
kingsley’s father died that night do to being overcome by the chemically altered alien infection, leaving kingsley an orphan.
on the same night as this occurrence, kingsley rushed out into the city, pleading for someone, anyone, to come help him save his dad.
everyone just thought he was a crazy kid, insisted that there were bigger issues at hand than some kid’s silly, little games and tall-tales.
thus, while, logically, kingsley knows that he was truly the one to blame for his father’s death, he is entirely in denial of the fact that he caused it and he can’t help but feel bitter and angry not only at the aliens for killing his father and all of the people who refused to help him on that night.
thus, he seeks revenge on both the aliens and on all of the people who he feels wrong him.
he spends most of his days cooped up in his lab, trying out different chemical compounds and mixtures in an attempt to find something that could even just harm the aliens and that he could use against those who refused him.
the only time he really ever leaves his lab is to try and collect more information and data on the argenti as a whole.
he trades potions and his inventions and such for information that anyone might have on the argenti !
essentially, he is just looking to get revenge on all who he believes took part in killing his father, even if he gets himself killed in the process, which he knows is entirely likely.
he is also looking for a way to resurrect his father, though he knows that, even if he is a witch, his magic is far too weak for such spells.
it is because of both his vengeful tendencies and his reclusive tendencies that he doesn’t have many friends. he insists that he doesn’t have time for close friendships and relationships, that he only has time for his alchemy and research..
truly, though, hidden beneath all of the anger and vengeance, he is just a sad and lonely kid. he never knew his mom, he essentially killed his dad, he has near no one to turn to for any type of comfort; he’s just sad !
before his father died, he was really sweet and bubbly, very soft, so that side of him is still buried down deep beneath the anger !
he ... wants friends lowkey, but he doesn’t know how to go about making them !
his hair is black !
his eyes are turquoise !
Tumblr media
TOTO FLORENT.
imaginary friend ! boy with the horns !
he was the imaginary friend of a human boy who was absolutely obsessed with all of the magical creatures that there were around him. as a result of his obsession with all of these things, toto was imagined as a boy with magical horns.
toto’s horns are made of gold with magical qualities that even he, himself, isn’t quite sure about.
it was because of toto’s horns that he started getting made fun of upon the human boy telling his other human friends of his creation --- even if the kids who were making fun of him couldn’t actually even see him.
the endless teasing and taunting by these boys that his human boy called his friends eventually started getting to toto, making him feel discouraged, strange, like he was weird, an outcast.
it was for this reason that toto ran away from his human boy, even if he knew that, once he left, no one would ever be able to see him again so long as the human boy lived.
shortly after toto ran away, living his imaginary life wandering the suburbs and downtown areas, he found that people could see him, which he knew could only mean one thing.
the human boy had died. he had perished at the hands of the argenti no longer than a month after toto had fled from him.
this revelation absolutely devastated toto. knowing that his creator and best friend are gone, dead, and knowing that he hadn’t had said goodbye to him when he left ... it took a toll on him.
thus, the imaginary friend is a bit more melancholic than he once was.
he used to run about with his human, happy as could be and excited about absolutely everything, but now he has a sad air to him. he is no longer so happy nor excitable, but more depressed and despondent.
as an imaginary friend without a human or creature to be linked to, his existence is constantly wavering, even if more people are able to see him now. since there is no one (1) person who believes in his existence without doubt, he could cease to exist at any moment.
thus, he is on a quest for a new human/creature to be linked to ! all he asks is that they believe in him and do not make fun of or try to steal his horns !
as per usual, he is sad ... he just wants love and affection ... please ... love and affection him ...
his horns are gold !
his hair is dark brown !
his eyes are baby pink !
the rest of my muses will be added to this post tomorrow !

6. The Royal Crescent
Dove dormire a Bath

Engineers design color-changing compression bandage
Compression therapy is a standard form of treatment for patients who suffer from venous ulcers and other conditions in which veins struggle to return blood from the lower extremities. Compression stockings and bandages, wrapped tightly around the affected limb, can help to stimulate blood flow. But there is currently no clear way to gauge whether a bandage is applying an optimal pressure for a given condition.
Now engineers at MIT have developed pressure-sensing photonic fibers that they have woven into a typical compression bandage. As the bandage is stretched, the fibers change color. Using a color chart, a caregiver can stretch a bandage until it matches the color for a desired pressure, before, say, wrapping it around a patient’s leg.
The photonic fibers can then serve as a continuous pressure sensor — if their color changes, caregivers or patients can use the color chart to determine whether and to what degree the bandage needs loosening or tightening.
“Getting the pressure right is critical in treating many medical conditions including venous ulcers, which affect several hundred thousand patients in the U.S. each year,” says Mathias Kolle, assistant professor of mechanical engineering at MIT. “These fibers can provide information about the pressure that the bandage exerts. We can design them so that for a specific desired pressure, the fibers reflect an easily distinguished color.”
Kolle and his colleagues have published their results in the journal Advanced Healthcare Materials. Co-authors from MIT include first author Joseph Sandt, Marie Moudio, and Christian Argenti, along with J. Kenji Clark of the Univeristy of Tokyo, James Hardin of the United States Air Force Research Laboratory, Matthew Carty of Brigham and Women’s Hospital-Harvard Medical School, and Jennifer Lewis of Harvard University.
Natural inspiration
The color of the photonic fibers arises not from any intrinsic pigmentation, but from their carefully designed structural configuration. Each fiber is about 10 times the diameter of a human hair. The researchers fabricated the fiber from ultrathin layers of transparent rubber materials, which they rolled up to create a jelly-roll-type structure. Each layer within the roll is only a few hundred nanometers thick.
In this rolled-up configuration, light reflects off each interface between individual layers. With enough layers of consistent thickness, these reflections interact to strengthen some colors in the visible spectrum, for instance red, while diminishing the brightness of other colors. This makes the fiber appear a certain color, depending on the thickness of the layers within the fiber.
“Structural color is really neat, because you can get brighter, stronger colors than with inks or dyes just by using particular arrangements of transparent materials,” Sandt says. “These colors persist as long as the structure is maintained.”
The fibers’ design relies upon an optical phenomenon known as “interference,” in which light, reflected from a periodic stack of thin, transparent layers, can produce vibrant colors that depend on the stack’s geometric parameters and material composition. Optical interference is what produces colorful swirls in oily puddles and soap bubbles. It’s also what gives peacocks and butterflies their dazzling, shifting shades, as their feathers and wings are made from similarly periodic structures.
“My interest has always been in taking interesting structural elements that lie at the origin of nature’s most dazzling light manipulation strategies, to try recreating and employing them in useful applications,” Kolle says.
A multilayered approach
The team’s approach combines known optical design concepts with soft materials, to create dynamic photonic materials.
While a postdoc at Harvard in the group of Professor Joanna Aizenberg, Kolle was inspired by the work of Pete Vukusic, professor of biophotonics at the University of Exeter in the U.K., on Margaritaria nobilis, a tropical plant that produces extremely shiny blue berries. The fruits’ skin is made up of cells with a periodic cellulose structure, through which light can reflect to give the fruit its signature metallic blue color.
Together, Kolle and Vukusic sought ways to translate the fruit’s photonic architecture into a useful synthetic material. Ultimately, they fashioned multilayered fibers from stretchable materials, and assumed that stretching the fibers would change the individual layers’ thicknesses, enabling them to tune the fibers’ color. The results of these first efforts were published in Advanced Materials in 2013.
When Kolle joined the MIT faculty in the same year, he and his group, including Sandt, improved on the photonic fiber’s design and fabrication. In their current form, the fibers are made from layers of commonly used and widely available transparent rubbers, wrapped around highly stretchable fiber cores. Sandt fabricated each layer using spin-coating, a technique in which a rubber, dissolved into solution, is poured onto a spinning wheel. Excess material is flung off the wheel, leaving a thin, uniform coating, the thickness of which can be determined by the wheel’s speed.
For fiber fabrication, Sandt formed these two layers on top of a water-soluble film on a silicon wafer. He then submerged the wafer, with all three layers, in water to dissolve the water-soluble layer, leaving the two rubbery layers floating on the water’s surface. Finally, he carefully rolled the two transparent layers around a black rubber fiber, to produce the final colorful photonic fiber.
Reflecting pressure
The team can tune the thickness of the fibers’ layers to produce any desired color tuning, using standard optical modeling approaches customized for their fiber design.
“If you want a fiber to go from yellow to green, or blue, we can say, ‘This is how we have to lay out the fiber to give us this kind of [color] trajectory,’” Kolle says. “This is powerful because you might want to have something that reflects red to show a dangerously high strain, or green for ‘ok.’ We have that capacity.”
The team fabricated color-changing fibers with a tailored, strain-dependent color variation using the theoretical model, and then stitched them along the length of a conventional compression bandage, which they previously characterized to determine the pressure that the bandage generates when it’s stretched by a certain amount.
The team used the relationship between bandage stretch and pressure, and the correlation between fiber color and strain, to draw up a color chart, matching a fiber’s color (produced by a certain amount of stretching) to the pressure that is generated by the bandage.
To test the bandage’s effectiveness, Sandt and Moudio enlisted over a dozen student volunteers, who worked in pairs to apply three different compression bandages to each other’s legs: a plain bandage, a bandage threaded with photonic fibers, and a commercially-available bandage printed with rectangular patterns. This bandage is designed so that when it is applying an optimal pressure, users should see that the rectangles become squares.
Overall, the bandage woven with photonic fibers gave the clearest pressure feedback. Students were able to interpret the color of the fibers, and based on the color chart, apply a corresponding optimal pressure more accurately than either of the other bandages.
The researchers are now looking for ways to scale up the fiber fabrication process. Currently, they are able to make fibers that are several inches long. Ideally, they would like to produce meters or even kilometers of such fibers at a time.
“Currently, the fibers are costly, mostly because of the labor that goes into making them,” Kolle says. “The materials themselves are not worth much. If we could reel out kilometers of these fibers with relatively little work, then they would be dirt cheap.”
Then, such fibers could be threaded into bandages, along with textiles such as athletic apparel and shoes as color indicators for, say, muscle strain during workouts. Kolle envisions that they may also be used as remotely readable strain gauges for infrastructure and machinery.
“Of course, they could also be a scientific tool that could be used in a broader context, which we want to explore,” Kolle says.
This research was supported, in part, by the National Science Foundation and by the MIT Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Mark Silver Talks Marco Designer Jeweler
Most of us know Mark Silver from either buying jewelry from him over the years or his generous work with local charities. On a personal level he has been involved with the Hotspots Holiday celebration since day one and donated around 30 pieces of jewelry for the silent auction, which raises money for the Pride Center at Equality Park. With the launch of a new jewelry company, Marco Designer Jewelry, we thought it was a good time to sit down with Mark to find out about how he got started in the jewelry business and more about his exciting new company geared toward gay men.
At what age did you realize you loved designing jewelry?
I always had a passion for the design of fine jewelry. I was blessed to have traveled to Europe quite often at a young age in my career. After walking through the Ponte Vecchio in Florence, Italy and looking at the creativeness, I became captivated by gold and silver jewelry design.  I was also fortunate to live in Milan, Italy for a time, which opened my eyes to the beauty of fine jewelry.
What made you take the leap from the fashion world to open your own jewelry store?
I was working as an apparel designer/merchandiser on 7th Ave in the garment center of New York City from 1977 to 1986. I worked for European import companies to increase their business dealings in the USA. My work consisted of traveling extensively to Italy, France and England for product development of fabrics and trends for the U.S. market. I continued to manufacture the clothing collections and work in Japan, India, Taiwan, Korea and Hong Kong. I was very fortunate that my talent in merchandising the fashion trends sold in major department stores, specialty boutiques and national chain stores. In 1986 I decided to leave the clothing industry taking the marketing knowledge I learned and the vision I naturally had to challenge the fine jewelry industry. My goal was to create designs that are classic, timeless and innovative, but most of all unique. I want all my pieces to reflect jewelry that are works of art.
What made you move from New York to South Florida?
In 1986 I opened my first showroom retail store in Greenwich Village and started selling my exclusive jewelry collection “Argenti” Designer Jewelers. It was in a great location with heavy foot traffic and I also had the opportunity to do custom work for Barneys New York. This all worked to help make my custom jewelry design a destination for unique one of kind affordable pieces.
In 1991 the Argenti NYC business was sold and I left New York City to find a better and healthier way of life. I opened Argenti in Plantation, Florida, Las Olas Riverfront and now in Lauderdale by the Sea—one of the most beautiful towns in Broward County.
You are now in Lauderdale by the Sea. How has that area been for Argenti?
In 2009, I opened the fourth Argenti showroom in Lauderdale by the Sea and it turned out to be an amazing town with a very diverse mix of locals and visitors. This flourishing location helped build the popularity of my LGBT product line.
I joined different business organizations networking my specialty in custom design jewelry and two years after I opened I had the good fortune (2011 to 2014) to become the President of the Lauderdale by the Sea Chamber of Commerce.

Do you repair jewelry?
Yes, absolutely. I repair all fine jewelry whether it’s gold, platinum or silver. I do it affordably with great care. It’s important for me to be courteous and respectful that someone entrusted me with a piece of jewelry to work on that may have been handed down from generation to generation. I am proud to say that I can make anything that is broken look like new again and have been successfully doing that for 32 years. I believe that client relationships in any business are very important and I make it a point to be nurturing and embracing with everyone that I have the opportunity to work with.
Why did you create Marco?
As a local business in Fort Lauderdale, I meet many men and women from around the world that have me design their wedding rings and personal jewelry. When gay marriage was legalized, I realized there was a demand for gay couples to have custom wedding rings. Men wanted me to design their rings according to personal specifications ranging from birthstones to heirloom family jewelry infused into the new designs. I realized how important this is and how gratifying it became for me. I focused on men’s wedding rings which I make with pride. It’s been several months that I have been working with Matt Myers, an extremely talented web designer who created the vision I had for MARCODesignerJeweler.com. I plan to advertise this web site nationally as a leading gay men’s custom jewelry designer.
MARCO was created on the platform to be very personal while using the internet as a vehicle to target the gay men’s custom wedding ring market. I will personally use skype as a tool to engage gay couples to have their involvement selecting their custom wedding rings. Two men that are to be wed should have a happy, memorable and loving experience when looking for their wedding rings. Many times clients ask me to integrate the inherited gold, gemstones and diamonds from the jewelry of their mom, dad or other relatives in their new rings. When completed these jewelry designs carry a dignity and emotional power like no other piece they own.
I have created an atmosphere that allows the process of designing custom rings to be a joyful experience. I am elated that the finished jewelry that I create is more than what my clients expected and all the Video Testimonials on MARCODesignerJeweler.com prove that. Now my intention is set to take this personal, relaxed and pleasurable experience and blend it with technology to expand it nationally.
Do I have to be rich to buy Marco Wedding Bands?
I have no price barriers with the jewelry I create for MARCODesignerJeweler.com. I adore when a client appreciates my exclusive design work. Every custom design comes with a very detailed free estimate of what it will cost to build that specific design. I spend a great deal of time and care on my free estimates so the consumer understands every component needed at a cost effective price from me. I treat the buyer the same way I would want to be treated keeping in mind what their specific budget is for the work to be done…and I make it happen.  The bottom line is making my guest very happy and I am the man to design it affordably with long lasting quality.
Do you have payment plans?
My custom design jewelry that I create from a drawing will take between four to six weeks. There will be fittings during the interim build process. Clients initially would leave a good faith deposit when I begin the handmade wax model. Thereafter they can pay the balance at their convenience in segments or upon completion. I never installed a payment plan because I wouldn’t want anyone to be obligated to make payments at designated times. I like it better with “pay as you go” on your time and the balance to be paid when finished.
How does it work when you start a new design with a customer?
MARCO was created to focus on custom design jewelry and making the client very involved in the conceptual stages. I begin asking a lot of questions to get a feel for their ideas.  What is your concept and do you have any vision in your mind of what you may like? My exclusive design book has hundreds of pictures to study and I leave them to review that. Typically after that there begins a sense of knowing what they want. Once we narrow the details and the pieces fit together I start drawing on paper the new jewelry design until it’s perfect and then once approved the process begins. Anything can be made, in any precious metal with any gemstone. If you have old jewelry that you just don’t wear anymore, I can use that old gold to make new modern designs and change your yellow gold into white gold. If a person doesn’t want a completely new piece of jewelry I will repair and modify all kinds of jewelry.
What does the future hold for Marco?
I am grateful to work with clients who come to my showroom location from around the world when visiting Fort Lauderdale. They trust me, the quality of my designs, honesty, affordable and reasonable pricing. The very best advertising I receive is steadily having been referred from my work. The future for MARCO will be to take my work out of the local arena. I will be able to collaborate on new ideas and concepts for one of kind unique pieces of jewelry for people that aren’t planning to visit Fort Lauderdale.

fashion designer argenti x gn! reader [headcanons]
no one asked for this and no one knows who i am . i am okay with simply being an aspiring writing novice you will pass by
i love fashion (however i don’t actually know much about it) and i love argenti, i hope i do him justice (please call me out for mischaracterization …) ; cringe alert
Tumblr media
𝜗𝜚 — would adore vintage designs. he totally has old magazines and cutouts and takes inspo from those sewing guides (yk the ones that are great for pose references??? does anyone know what i mean) , i think he’d love mixing and matching different textures and whatnot (this is not me expressing my hatred for that fugly modern stuff that’s impossible to function in with all the weird ass shapes)
𝜗𝜚 — your free tailor !!! not only does he design, but he creates, and that means he could totally help cinch that shirt that looks great but is just a bit too big on you. perhaps he’d even add a few of his own touches, with unique buttons and a ruffle here or there!
𝜗𝜚 — would always end up drawing you as his model in his sketches ; none of those faceless baldies, just you, you, you. you’re beautiful and he makes sure you know that whenever he shows his latest design.
𝜗𝜚 — i think he’d dabble a little bit in either hair or makeup as well ; and again, you’re his model (even if he can’t do much with ur hair 4 any short haired homies)
🌟 — sorry it’s so short, mayhaps i’ll add more later, i just wanted to post something :3 have a good day / noon / night !!!
