♩ - quirks/hobbies headcanon?
I also got asked this by @cadrenebula, so I'll just give you both as many answers as I can with my sleepy brain at once. ♡
For dumb little things, I guess would be considered 'quirks'? Here's a few:
I headcanon Farron as having an accent similar to Erenville's but a little thicker and harder to understand as he's only been free of Rak'tika for roughly... 5 years? And if he gets excited and starts to talk too fast, people just stare at him like he's speaking in tongues, so he needs to actively slow himself down. The funny thing with Dusk that has him forgetting to slow down is that the Echo just... let's Dusk understand Farron perfectly at all times, so there's never been an issue with them! So that has him slipping back into old habits of not being so mindful, the poor guy.
There's also a habit he has of rubbing the side or back of his neck when he feels awkward or nervous.
Another silly thing he does - because he's always been terrible at getting questions across properly - is to tilt his head at the person he's talking with and tipping his ears a little too far forward to make himself visibly look inquisitive and curious. That way, people will always understand that he's actually asking something, and there's no confusion.
As for hobbies! Farron has quite a few, but they've mostly been mentioned if memory serves. It probably doesn't...
There's obviously botany and alchemy, which basically go hand in hand for him. He's a little nutty and mad over both of them, and he tends to get... very overenthusiastic if anyone starts a conversation about either with him. Don't let him talk for hours because he absolutely will, and no, he won't feel bad about it either!
Another hobby that he's picked up and really thrown himself into is cooking! He's gotten very good at it and thank the gods for that when he has to feed two grown ass elezen men who don't care to feed themselves properly.
There's also a silly one that I, personally, enjoy... he absolutely adores reading fairytales! His favorites are cheesy romances, and yes, he will happily show you his horribly embarrassing massive collection of fairytale tomes! Is it better or worse that he's collected them all in a matter of only 4 years?... It's probably fine. It's completely normal behavior.
I think that's about all that my two braincells can come up with at the moment, but I hope it was fun to read! Thanks for asking. ♡

How often does your character name things (whether items, pets, plans, etc) and what is their process for naming? Do they base names on inanimate objects, gods or notable figures, or simply on what 'feels' right? Have they ever given someone or something a cheesy nickname? What names have they come up with (if any)?
Dusk honestly tries to avoid naming things if he can help it, because he knows he's not very creative with them. He is a man who panicked and blurted out the first spear name that came to mind when asked to name his chocobo, Pike, and has only ever referred to his duck friend as 'Duck.' Duck's a bit of a special case, though ... Dusk doesn't think of Duck as 'his' or as a pet. Let's just say he very much understood Deryk when he said he hadn't named the baby opo-opo because it felt insulting to do so.
Dusk technically bases names on inanimate objects, as in addition to Pike, he has a draught chocobo named Lance. He helped name the orphanage's baby chocobo and picked Ranseur. He realized around then that three makes it a firm pattern, and now people will expect spear-based names for all his chocobos from now on. He doesn't mind, there's a lot of spear names out there!
He and Farron named the amaro babies as a team, and you can tell because a lot of thought got put into them, plus they got a little sappy with it. They both wanted to give them fey names to honor where they came from, so Dusk got a list of terms from Urianger and they got to work. Eo means 'star' and Sul means 'flower,' both things that hold symbolic meaning to Dusk and Farron, and the babies both got 'Lad' as their second name, as it means traveler and ... well, they are!
Dusk is not one for nicknames, generally speaking, or even pet names, but he has called Farron both 'sweet pea' and 'pumpkin.' Sweet pea is because it's a flower that makes Dusk think of Farron, and pumpkin was because Farron made a rabbit-looking jack-o-lantern for All Saints and Dusk thought it was super cute. He hardly ever uses them out loud, and Farron has turned into a flustered mess each time.
Thank you for the ask!

Oooh I wanna know what's in Danica and Farron's bags!
TWST OC Asks Here
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pretty standard, phone, tablet, wallet and cosmetics. What's not pictured is a vial of her handmade perfume and a bottle of her favorite hand cream. The little bear charm was a gift from Taima for her birthday the previous year. 💖
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Not pictured, but Farron's messenger bag actually has his initials embossed on the front flap. He carries most of the same things Danica does as well as a sketchbook, his gloves, mp3 player and reading glasses (which he only uses when reading or working on very detailed sewing projects).

Now I'm nothing but a liar and you're thrown into the fray
I didn't have a choice, I did what I had to do
I don't want you to waste your life in vain
Listening to Red Like Roses - Part II in a post-V9 haze and it hits so different now.
I'm sorry i ever doubted your Summer-is-salem's-secret-lieutenant theory i bow down to the Prophet Farron
ehehehehe summer’s part of RLR2 sure is spoken in present tense, eh?
you know what else is fun, though. “what was that? she– she lied! she left with raven, why would she
?” and “i know you’re broken down by anger and by sadness/you feel i’ve left you in a world that’s full of madness/wish i could talk to you if only for a minute/make you understand the reasons why i did it”
the thing about “why?” is there’s really only one person who can answer that question, right. and that’s summer rose. raven could tell ruby what they planned and what happened; she might even be able to explain what kicked it off, if a specific event put the wheels in motion. but she can’t tell ruby why summer thought she could end it, why she decided to try, or—assuming summer is neither dead nor enslaved—why she chose not to come back (and kept making that choice, every day, for a decade or more).
the blacksmith is probably right, in the big picture sense. summer wouldn’t have fared any better on her pedestal than ruby did on hers, and desperation to escape must have been one of the things that drove her away. but why did she leave like that? what did she think would happen? her part of RLR2 does suggest that the confidence summer expressed was genuine—she really did think she could end it. why? what convinced her?
no one knows the answer to ruby’s question except summer rose.
and summer’s part of RLR2 is soaked through with the anguish summer feels about not being able to give her that answer, even as summer doesn’t seem to regret her choices, per se. “i didn’t have a choice, i did what i had to do” and “you’re not the only one who needed me/i thought you understood” and “would i change it if i could?/it doesn’t matter now”—summer wishes she hadn’t left ruby behind, but her perspective in RLR2 seems to be quite solidly that she made the right decision.
another thing i’ve been quietly chewing on is, summer doesn’t finish reading the girl who fell through the world. she stops at what seems to be the final chapter. “and on the wind, alyx heard one more question: what are you?”
and then she closes the book. she probably intended to finish the story once she got back home (and the girls were awake), so
“this bedtime story ends with misery ever after/the pages are torn and there’s no final chapter” isn’t just a metaphor, it’s also literally about the bedtime story she left unfinished. the last chapter of ‘the girl who fell through the world’—the part of the story where alyx goes home—IS summer’s promise to come back.
the rose brooch “carries a mother’s promise.” summer left it on top of the story she hadn’t finished reading yet: an unspoken, seemingly broken promise. ruby trades the brooch away after facing her certainty that summer isn’t going to keep that promise—can’t keep that promise, because ruby believes she’s dead or worse—while lost in the middle of the story that contained the promise.
and then ruby reached the end of the tale, both in the sense that she made it to the ‘final chapter’ and returned home but also of finding one of those torn pages. and the rose brooch returned to her. in a way, it never truly left—the promise and the unanswered question it represents are a part of her.
the brooch carries summer’s promise; symbolically, just as the brooch is neither lost nor broken, neither is the promise. this is probably the strongest hint so far that summer is both 1. alive and 2. in a state to be able to keep her promise, however much longer it takes than she originally expected.
she’s coming back.

Food Bill (Final Rose)
Who has the largest food bill in Final Rose?
The answer to that is pretty easy: the Yun-Farrons do. This is basically all down to Diana and Fang, both of whom can eat far more than regular people.
To put things into perspective, Diana eats as much as several full-grown adults a day. That’s why she’s almost always eating in the snippets in which she appears. It’s also why she prefers calorie rich foods (e.g., junk food). It reduces how much food she has to eat to get the required calories.
Now, you’re probably wondering about whether or not she needs a balanced diet. Not really. Once Ragnarok activates, you can eat basically anything and the outcome will be the same. The Semblance converts all of that into raw energy that is then used to do whatever the body needs. So you could be eating chocolate, jet engines, rocks, or even dirt, and it wouldn’t really matter. The main reason people with Ragnarok even eat food is because they like how it tastes.
It’s little wonder Diana hides food everywhere. it’s because she’s eventually going to eat it all.
Now, Fang’s appetite isn’t as absurdly huge as Diana’s, but that’s largely because her version of the Semblance has already matured and stabilised. Even so, Fang probably eats about twice as much as you would expect. However, people don’t really notice since Diana’s relentless food consumption gets all the attention. But Fang was just like that when she was a kid although only Vanille really remembers.
As for Lightning and Averia, they both eat basically what you would expect people of their age, size, and profession to eat. If they’re carrying around extra food, it’s probably for Diana or Fang. Averia, for example, stashes extra food in her dorm room because she knows that Diana will probably appear, get hungry, and want food at some point during the day.
That said, Fraise can eat a mind-boggling amount of food if she overuses Creation of All Things. It’s because she doesn’t have the energy generation parts of Saviour to compensate for the energy expenditure.

2 and 14 for the female character ask!
SPOOP HI THANK U
2. One of your favourites from when you were a child?
Falsetto from Eternal Sonata :)
Tumblr media
I'm pretty sure as a kid I had a gay crush on her but I didn't know I could like girls so it never registered. Anyways I always loved her 1) because she can punch and kick things 2) because she was also fighting against climate change in that game. She's great :)
14. An interesting familial relationship with female characters? (Mother and daughter, sisters, etc.)
...I had to check and see whether or not I answered with them yet and I TRIED SO HARD TO AVOID BRINGING UP FF13 AGAIN-
but alas, Lightning and Serah Farron from FF13
Tumblr media
THE WHOLE DARN SERIES REVOLVES AROUND THEM TRYING TO SAVE EACH OTHER FROM DEATH... THE NARRATIVE WAS RUN BY THEIR LOVE FOR EACH OTHER AND I LOVE IT SO DEEPLY
The two grew up orphaned at a young age, and Lightning (left) being the older sister had to try and pick up the responsibilities of taking care of her and her sister as a result, turning into a soldier to support both of them
But that would come at the price of both Lightning and Serah never really having time for each other. The two do try to find ways, very small and very human ways to help, with Lightning picking up the job she does and then Serah just being the support (I remember reading how Serah used to make food for Lightning whenever she gets back home for example).
And even despite how small these actions are, there is so much love between these two sisters that Lightning fought gods TWICE for her sister, and Serah traveled through time and even fixed the timeline to save hers.
It's a lot of love and dedication and I am just so in love with their dynamic ugh.

TEAM ZRCN ARC 1 REWRITE - PROLOGUE
What’s this....arc 1? Yes, as some of you might recall I spoke of rewriting ZRCN’s arc 1 storyline some time ago, and the time has come to start posting. The storyline will largely be the same to the original albeit with some additional chapters at the start and some expansion of characters and their motives.
Enjoy!
Verde
He does not have a watch on him but Verde knows the man they are waiting for is running late. From where he is leaning against a nearby wall, he tries not to show his concerns about the present situation he and his companions found themselves in. Despite his best efforts to hide his concerns, it seems his companions are starting to notice something is off.
“Verde,” Saika calls out to him, pulling him out of his thoughts. He looks towards her and is aware of her pink eyes boring into him, searching for answers. For a moment he is distracted by the vibrancy of the pink in her hair, recently dyed if the colour was anything to go by. “When is Mr Hargrave going to get here?”
“Soon,” Verde assured her calmly.
“You said that like an hour ago,” Saika pouted. “I thought you said this Hargrave guy was always on time?”
Beside her, her companion Merlot put a hand on her arm. “Easy, Sai,” He said with the usual calm and neutral tone Verde had come to expect of the younger man. “No need to bite his head off.”
“I believe I said he’s usually on time,” Verde corrected, forcing a bit of a sarcastic tone to his voice. Although he was technically undercover, he was still uncomfortable arguing or speaking down to Merlot and Saika. At twenty, they were only six years younger than he was, but in many ways, they were still teenagers in his eyes. It didn’t help that they brought a slightly childlike energy with them whenever they were on a job together; Saika especially always seemed too eager to rush into things. When Verde had agreed to take this job he had been a little put off by their presence within Farron Hargrave’s circle of associates and wasn’t entirely comfortable with manipulating them as his predecessor had done so.
All of a sudden, Merlot shifted and looked down the opposite end of the alley they were waiting in. "Someone's coming," He said, his purple eyes squinting. Verde could not see anyone but he did not doubt Merlot's assertion, the young man's semblance granted him a heightened awareness of his surroundings.
Sure enough, as Merlot had said, somebody did appear at the other end of the alley. What caught the three of them by surprise however was the appearance of two men approaching them. Verde recognised Farron quickly but the other man was unknown to him, though if he had to guess, he had a former military background like Farron based on the way he carried himself. Farron was a short, stocky man, whose size betrayed his true strength. Whilst he was completely bald, he had a five-o-clock shadow. He always dressed neatly in tailored suits and a green tie to match his eyes. Verde had learned long ago that Farron always wore longer blazers to conceal his badger tail. His companion was a slightly taller man with a wiry build and broad shoulders. The hair on top of his head was light brown and thinning but he possessed a thick, enviable moustache.  His eyes were a rich copper colour.
When the two men stopped before the three of them, Farron extended a gloved hand for Verde to shake. "Verde," He greeted, gripping his hand firmly when Verde shook it.
"Farron," Verde echoed in a similar neutral tone. As they parted, his eyes shifted to the man beside Farron who had been studying the three of them intently since their arrival. "I wasn't aware you would be bringing anyone with you. Is this a new business partner?"
"It was a last minute decision," Farron admitted, his green eyes glancing at his companion for a brief moment. "Crocus and I actually go way back. We were at the academy together and joined the military at the same time. Let's just say he has a vested interest in our work."
"Pah, vested interest my ass!" The man scoffed. "Don't sell me short, Farron." Although the tone had a hint of playfulness to it, Verde got the impression that Farron's companion was genuinely irritated by his introduction. "If not for me you would not have known about some of your jobs."
Verde now looked at the man with interest. There had always been rumours of Farron having a man on the inside giving him locations to raid but there was very little solid proof. His superiors had always kept it open as a potential line of investigation down the line, but with no real evidence, there had been no reason to pursue it. "Are you a military man?" Verde asked, looking at the stranger. "Forgive me...what did you say your name was?"
"Crocus. Crocus Navarro." The man answered, giving him a wide grin that unsettled him somewhat."And I was a military man. I stepped down some years ago due to differences with my superiors. I work private security now but I still have many dear friends in the military who give me the information I can offer out to those deserving of it." Crocus winked. Rotten all the way up, Verde thought bitterly. "And you are the mysterious Verde. Farron speaks highly of you. I must say it was odd to hear Teak had someone he worked with, I thought that man was just an isolated loon, to be honest with you."
Although suspicious of Crocus pointing out his supposed connection with Teak, Verde did well to keep his expression as a mask of neutral indifference. "As you said yourself, he preferred his privacy," Verde said curtly. "He might have been eccentric but he was sharper than he looked. He understood the wisdom of not putting your eggs all in one basket."
A curious expression passed over Crocus's face, as though he was not sure what to make of that. After a moment, he nodded and looked at Farron. “I like him.”
Farron nodded. “I told you he was good,” He said.
“Very good,” Crocus said, before turning to speak to Verde again. “Your last job still has the authorities scratching their heads apparently. According to one of my sources, there was even talk of dropping it, in part due to the lack of evidence you left them.”
Verde flashed the man a grateful smile, slipping easily into the mindset that he needed to be proud of his supposed success. “You are too kind,” Verde said, feigning embarrassment. “Some credit should go to my companions here though.” He gestured towards Merlot and Saika, who had kept back since the conversation began. With a smile and a wave of the hand, he invited them forward.  As much as Verde personally wanted to keep the two of them out of things, he had to allow them to be present on some jobs, including the most recent. He likely would have kept them away from the last job too but his superiors were getting concerned that Farron and his associates might start getting suspicious.
“Ah, yes the two academy students. I'm impressed they held their own given that they didn't always perform so well under Teak,” Crocus mused, stepping forward to shake their hands. “Merlot Sigal and Saika Fujioka, yes?”
Saika was holding his hand as he said that, and Verde did not miss how she did not let go for a few passing moments. “Former students,” She corrected as she finally relinquished his grip.
Crocus merely shrugged, clearly not caring about this information. It might have frustrated Saika but it was a great relief to Verde who still couldn’t quite get a good read on Crocus.
“Well, Farron, I am satisfied we can progress with our work,” Crocus said, looking back to Farron. “I am still waiting on confirmation from my sources about the completion of their project but all signs indicate the end is in sight. Until then, I have a few more jobs you might be interested in to bide your time with.”
“Actually, I have a suggestion,” Saika interrupted.
Verde raised a brow. He had known of Crocus’s plans from his own sources but he was genuinely taken aback and curious about what Saika had to suggest.
Unbothered by the sudden shift of attention onto her, Saika pressed on. "Well, I was thinking how about we raid Princeton's Province? It's in a fairly secluded location, doesn't attract many shoppers, and they deal with a number of high quality goods. From what I recall, some pre-war artifacts and military memorabilia have passed through the owner's hands."
Farron looked at her suspiciously. "You seem quite well informed on this location, Saika."
"It's something I've been considering for a while," Saika admitted.
"You might want to know that we are familiar with the owner too," Merlot added something which earned him a glare from Saika.
Farron and Crocus shared a look. Verde noted that Farron seemed warier now but Crocus appeared to be more curious. "How familiar?" Crocus asked.
Saika shifted uncomfortably. "The owner's daughter was our teammate Jasmine."
"So this is, what, a revenge mission?" Farron questioned, narrowing his eyes at Saika in particular. "You are aware of how reckless that sounds?"
"I assure you it is no revenge mission," Saika began to say. Verde noticed her voice had begun to shift into a whining tone, a trait of hers that tended to flare up when she was angry or lying.
"Don't fret child," Crocus cut in, giving Saika a dismissive wave which stopped her talking. He looked back to Farron. "Farron, my good man, don't you think this would be a good opportunity?"
"A good opportunity for what?" Farron asked. "That business has never been on our radar for a start. Besides, I doubt that they would sell anything worth our while."
"Oh, just because it's not to your tastes doesn't mean it's necessarily worth ignoring," Crocus responded, speaking in a way that felt like more of a jab to Farron. "As the girl said, they do on occasion sell some high value pieces. I should know, my estranged wife and daughter have purchased from there in recent months."
"But anything that will be of use to us?"
Crocus shrugged. "Well, I cannot say for certain. From what I recall, they don't keep a list of products they keep in besides the regular stock. But even if none of what they have is what we need, some of the valuable pieces would certainly fetch a pretty penny on the black market."
"Are you seriously considering this?" Farron huffed.
"I am always serious when it comes to money," Crocus said, flashing a charming smile towards Farron.
"Money or not, I am still unsure about this," Farron confessed.
"Think of it this way, my friend, let this be a test for our two students," Crocus said, putting an arm around his companion. "If they can handle themselves it will prove what happened with Verde wasn't a one-off. And that they can handle themselves without needing to hold somebody's hand."
"I assure you they can handle themselves," Verde cut in. He didn't like this idea that Crocus was suggesting. Not only was this a location that had not been on their radar, but Crocus was also suggesting they do it alone which meant he could not keep an eye on them. And should they get caught as Teak had, well, he had no doubt Farron and Crocus would not come to their rescue.
"Can they though?" Crocus suddenly asked. Verde noted there was a slight edge to his tone now, suspicious and not at all pleasant. Where moments before he had been engaging in playful banter, it seemed now a darker side was slipping out. "I noticed that under Teak's watchful eye they were sloppy. He let them get away with far too much, far too often. He didn't care about cleaning up," Crocus said. He stared intently at Verde. "I notice under you it's more of the opposite."
"You're acting as though that's a bad thing," Verde snapped, easily letting his worries work into making him sound frustrated. "You can see how they were under Teak. I can't possibly see how being more cautious and watchful over them is a bad thing."
"There is such a thing as being too protective," Crocus pointed out. "Besides, they aren't children anymore."
"Nor are they soldiers," Verde retorted.
Verde had anticipated Crocus snapping at this but his expression remained fairly neutral, though his eyes briefly looked him up and down. "No, they are not."
"Crocus, I believe we have gotten off track," Farron interjected. "We are not here to discuss how Verde orders our associates around. As our middleman, he is allowed to handle things at his own discretion."
Crocus was still looking at Verde as Farron spoke. A long moment passed before he straightened and the more charming expression and attitude returned. "Of course, of course!" Crocus agreed. "Forgive me, friend, as you know, sometimes old habits die hard." The man clapped his hands. "Now, what about the matter with Princeton's Province? Have you given it more thought?"
"I have considered it, yes," Farron confirmed. "And I have decided you are right. There is potential for us to make good money if we find the right products there."
"I am glad we are in agreement," Crocus smiled in satisfaction. "Perhaps it would be a wise idea to get some surveillance on the location ahead of time? Do you have someone who can handle it?"
"I have people in mind. New talent you might say," Farron answered.
New talent? As far as Verde was aware there had been no new faces introduced to the group for some time. For multiple new people to have been referenced was intriguing. Verde made a mental note to ask his superiors if any names came up on the channels. However, he anticipated there would be little information on that front, as he knew Farron had a hacker working for him.
"So, about this job...when would you like us to do it?" Saika asked.
"Give it some time," Crocus answered, mostly speaking to Farron as he said this. "There's still an increased police presence as of late. It would be wise to wait until it has died down to go there. The last thing we want is any unwanted attention."
"Agreed," Farron nodded, turning to Merlot and Saika. "Keep your heads down for now and I will tell Verde to contact you when I am ready. Does this sound amenable to you, Verde?"
"I would rather be there myself, but that will suffice," Verde admitted, even though it was a lie.
"Well, if everything is settled, we should be on our way, don't you think Farron?" Crocus suggested, looking at his watch as he did.
"Yes that is fine," Farron nodded. "Besides I know you have further work to get to."
"Actual work," The other man chuckled. Crocus stepped forward to shake everyone's hands in a gesture of farewell. "Pleasure meeting all of you. I hope what we planned here today goes well."
As Crocus turned to depart, Farron lingered a moment, leaning toward Verde. "Your concerns about Merlot and Saika have been noted," He said cryptically. "Don't worry, I will send Candy with them to assist."
"That is good of you to offer," Verde said. "Hopefully that won't put you in trouble with Crocus."
As Farron leaned back, he grimaced slightly. "He does not control what I do."
Except that's exactly what he does, Verde thought as he flashed Farron an appreciative farewell smile.
The three of them waited for Farron and Crocus to leave before they in turn departed. Leaving the alley, they eased themselves back onto the street, blending in with the other Atlesian citizens milling about on the streets.
"Did that go well?" Merlot asked.
"Honestly, I couldn't say for certain," Verde admitted without turning around. "I'd say it went as well as we could have hoped."
"That's good to know," Merlot said, before seconds later turning to Saika. "Where did that come from about Jasmine's place!?"
"As I said, it was something that I've been planning for a while," Saika responded simply. "I thought you'd be more understanding."
"How long?"
"Since that bitch stabbed us in the back and didn't bother to defend us when the academy threatened to expel us," Saika said. Verde didn't need to turn around to know she was seething behind him. He could hear the venom in her voice.
"The past is in the past," Verde cut in before they could hash things out. "I would have preferred a head's up if you had been thinking of something like that, but the plan of action is in motion now."
"How long will we have to wait?" Saika pressed.
"As long as Farron deems necessary," Verde responded. In truth, he wanted things to happen sooner rather than later, but that would require his own superiors to get the Atlesians to pull back on their investigation, albeit temporarily.
The three of them came to a junction in the road and Verde made a gesture for the two of them to act like they were saying farewell. "It was so nice to catch up with you both again!" Verde said in an exaggerated tone. "Stay out of trouble until I get in contact again." He would add in a quieter tone.
Merlot and Saika nodded and made their own false goodbyes before the three of them departed. Verde remained where he was for a few minutes, making sure the two were out of sight before tucking himself into a concealed doorway.
He pulled out a secure scroll and dialed a number.
"Hello?" A masculine voice answered.
"Hello sir, it's Vernon," Verde greeted, using his real name to address his boss. "I have an update."

9, 11, 16, 28 (I had to limit myself but there were so many more!) For Eury
MORGAN MY LOOOOOOOVE!!!
Already answered 9 here!
11. What is an item of clothing/an accessory that completes them/makes them feel safe?
I hate to be like 'Cullen's coin' but no, it's Cullen's coin. She has to make sure it's around her neck at all times. She's constantly touching it or playing with it. She uses it as a stim toy--either biting the coin or the chain, or running the coin up and down the chain to feel the vibration. I think if she ever lost it, she'd have a full melt down.
16. What was the happiest moment of their life?
The day of her actual Dalish wedding with Cullen. Her family was there, so were all her friends, and they exchanged vows while Psyche and Farron was in her arms. You have to remember that this sort of thing was something Eurydice was convinced she wasn't allowed to have--being loved, having children, people wanting gather with her to watch her be loved. She'd been told all her life she was heartless and incapable of such things. But this was an event that proved she wasn't unlovable. She'd never forget it.
28. What would they do if their favourite pet suddenly fell asleep on their lap?
Not move. Not move for days. If any of her pets or a halla were on her lap, Eurydice would just freeze and cease to be anything but a pillow. Personhood is great and all but this animal feels at peace with her enough to rest? Whelp, guess this is her life now.

Soooo this book is amazing. I did not think I was going to like it but the more I read it the more I liked it. I stayed up almost all night to finish the first book... yes, it's that good.
Tumblr media
So, at first it was obviously a beauty and the beast (or beasts in this case) retelling. It was almost word or word, scene for scene and at first I didn't quite like it but the FL, Rosalina, reminds me so much of myself. Always stuck in a book, wishing I was whisked away to a foreign land.
There are four maybe five MLs in this book. Dayton, a playboy that looks like he came out of a surfing magazine; Prince of Summer. Ezryn, a brooding man that will protect Rosalina until his last breath; Prince of Spring. Farron, a research loving sweet young man; Prince of Autumn. Kelarion, a grumpy, secretive icy man that knows Rosalina is his mate since the beginning but his secrets (and curse) will not let him; Prince of Winter.
This book was thrilling, funny, not to smutty but just the right amount. There was a part in there were Rosalina accidently flashed Kelarion and the look he gave her was absolute horror. I burst out laughing because this would be something that would happen to me. Aso, Dayton cut off the hands of a man that was trying to hold Rosalina... and they don't ask themselves why exactly they're so protective of her? I wish I could go in there and teach a course on soul mate bonds *insert sigh*
My favorite so far is definitely Ezryn. I love a brooding troubled man bear. He's just something else y'all. If Rosalina don't want him, I WANT HIM. Plus he wears armor... hot.
I've already begun reading the second book, I couldn't resist myself. It's a itch I need to scratch.
Usually I don't care about the background character much, but I loved the background character's in this. Marigold was definitively my favorite. My personality is a mix of Rosalina's and Marigolds. A perfect mix of intellectual and pervy *Insert cackle here*
I can't put the full quote here but its the first sentence in this book that caught my attention. Book readers have lived thousands of lives because the reality that we live in will never live up to the life we live in books.
Here are some of my favorite quotes:
"...How the fuck and I supposed to answer you when you're choking me out, you overgrown tin can..."
"...Do you like it, Rosalina?...Yes...Then the fucking gods will have to tear me away from your sweet pussy..."
"...It's not a spark. It's an eternal fire that burns from deep within my heart and reaches out to you...And every moment I am not touching you, it eats my soul inside out, tearing me apart, until merely looking at you is an anguish I would only wish upon my worst enemy..."
Rating: 4.8/5 stars
Okay, here is a little fun fact about me. I have A LOT of tattoos that mean significant things to me. But the one that calls out to me the most out of the majority is a word that I got tattooed on when I was younger:
Hiraeth- A deep, inborn sense of yearning for a home, a feeling, a place or person that is beyond this plane of existence.
I have so many home's that I will never visit because they're not real. I yearn to be in a world that were I feel complete and that is why I will keep reading. A thousand worlds feels like zero when your not.

I guess this'll be like a little hi, how are you to the Tumblr void. I don't know how to do these things!
Anyhow, I made a funny little vii man named Farron.
Tumblr media
No one would say he's the smartest man. He's also the tiniest and apparently has a 'thing' for elezen. Listen, I don't make the rules.
Cooking and anything to do with plants are something he really loves too, along with making random concoctions that he'll give to anyone who wants to try them.
Or maybe they don't want to. Details.
So, uh, yep. I'm awkward. :D
I'll probably write more things about him eventually or answer some wol questions here and there when I see them.
Okbye.

∇ - old age/aging headcanon
I want the suffering, give it to meeee.
I want everyone to know that when I opened up my inbox and saw this ask, I immediately DM'd him saying YOU PICKED THE MEANEST ONE and he essentially replied with cackling.
So I have a gpose set that kinda gets across how I think of it here, but I can use some words on top of it, of course.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dusk never really thought about aging or death that much. Obviously he knows it'll happen, and he's aware that as an elezen he lives a little longer than most of the other Spoken races. The idea of outliving most of his current non-elezen friends made him a little sad, but what can you do? And who knows if he'll even live a full elezen life? It's not like he hasn't almost died a few times already!
But then he fell in love with Farron, who is going to outlive him by who-knows-how-long-there's-conflicting-age-ranges-given-in-game, but even the most generous reading (at least as far as minimizing depression goes) has it close to a century. And that makes Dusk incredibly sad.
The thought of pulling away and ending it before stuff got too serious did cross his mind, but honestly, by the time it did cross his mind, the relationship was already serious. And when he talked it out with Farron, Farron was adamant he still wanted this relationship, that it was already worth it to him. How could Dusk say no, when he already loved Farron so much?
Dusk still hates it, and once in a while the reality of that eventual pain his death will cause really sits on his chest and takes his breath away. He can't imagine going through what Farron is going to, and he feels helpless that there's not much he can do to keep Farron from having to.
It's a good time. =)
Thanks for the ask, jerk! <3

hc + 💄 with any of your choice!
Headcanon Asks Here
hc + 💄 for a makeup-themed headcanon

Since joining the Film Research Club, Farron has become obsessed with stage makeup and even has a separate Magicam profile solely devoted to hair and makeup tutorials. He also enjoys giving his friends makeovers and helping them learn what styles and colors suit them best. One time, he assisted Andrew with his makeup, and it almost resulted in their first kiss.

One way Heloise differentiates herself from Vidaria is by choosing makeup that dramatically contrasts with her complexion. She especially likes dark red blush and lip color.

Regular Pat and some of his friends did a video where they were trying to predict some things that will happen in Kingdom Hearts IV. And for the fun of it, I think I'm going to do the same thing, myself--answering the questions that they did, but with different answers from them (three answers each).
Who do you think the final boss will be? (And for some reason, they didn't think the Master of Masters would be the final boss in KHIV--in later games they think he will be, of course--but they didn't see it as him so early on. So, I think I'm going to follow them and go with that idea, too... Though I really do kind of think it will be the Master of Masters in KHIV.)
My answers are:
The Nameless Star/Stella, because let us not forget she was billed as an antagonist in the days of Final Fantasy Versus XIII, and she had the same powers as Noctis Yozora.
Aced, for obvious reasons--because he was becoming very tyrant-y at the end of Kingdom Hearts X.
Gula, as when he gets desperate, he can do dangerous things... like trying to summon Kingdom Hearts, and collecting too much lux to do so (which in turn caused the other Foretellers to collect more lux, "to maintain the balance," which caused the Keyblade War).
A fourth choice would be Luxord, because of the interesting rivalry KHIII seemed to be setting up with him and Luxu. But I said three answers, and I'm sticking to that.
2. What are three new Disney worlds that you think will be in Kingdom Hearts IV and/or want to be in Kingdom Hearts IV?
Encanto
Enchanted (I don't really think that it will happen, but look: it would work so well with KHIV).
Atlantis: The Lost Empire
3. What are three returning Disney worlds that you think will be in Kingdom Hearts IV and/or want to be?
Neverland (for Peter Pan II: Return to Neverland)
The Land of Dragons (Mulan 2)
The Pride Lands (The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride)
4. Who are some Square Enix characters who could show up in Kingdom Hearts IV?
(I was thinking about this the other night, and I was trying to think of characters [who weren't said in the Regular Pat video] who I think would fit into Quadratum somehow, and for whatever reason I've come up with the following.)
Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca from Final Fantasy XII
Serah Farron from the Final Fantasy XIII series (though moreso leaning towards her XIII-2 self for this)
Rindo Kanade from Neo The World Ends With You
Though I had thought that--since people want Final Fantasy XV characters, and I don't blame them--Lunafreya Nox Fleuret in some ways might be the most likely FFXV to ever appear in a Kingdom Hearts game (if any of them have a chance), and also the least likely. Least likely, because I don't think Nomura is exactly a fan that his character Stella got changed into Luna at all, but that's also exactly how she could be in the games (if he could be so pressured). Because Luna became her own character somewhat different from Stella, role-wise and with a different name and all. I feel like the Verum Rex of it all pretty much kills the chances of any other Final Fantasy XV character getting into Kingdom Hearts, because they'd be too similar to the Verum Rex characters now being implemented. I would love Luna to show up in Quadratum, if such a thing were possible. But again: I don't know if it'll ever happen. But we can dream.
5. What characters, aside from Sora, do you think might be playable in Kingdom Hearts IV?
Naminé. Completely wishful thinking on my part. And I doubt it will happen (unfortunately). But Nomura said he had more to do with Naminé... And if ever there were a time to introduce non-Keyblade wielders into the combat, it would be this new saga. Though watch if they do make her playable, they'll give her a Keyblade. But I'd even be cool with that, to get playable Naminé.
Strelitzia. Surprisingly, this video didn't mention Strelitzia... but I feel like that's a fairly obvious guess.
I have a guess that I hate, which is Xehanort... and I could so see it!
One of the Key Kids, I think. Lauriam or Elrena, for sure. But even Skuld (or Brain, who I have the strange feeling is going to come to the current timeline), or even Ephemer, who I think will somehow come back? (Edit: Ava is also a thought.) Hmm... The obvious choice is surely Lauriam, as he looks for Strelitzia, but I kind of want to say Elrena. But *sighs*. If it's either of those two, it'll surely be Lauriam. Edit: It could also very easily be Skuld, but we'll stick with my Lauriam answer here.
Edit: I forgot I was thinking of Nameless Star/Stella as an answer for this, too, but I said Lauriam, so like I said above: we'll stick with that.
Edit 2: I just remembered my actual third pick while watching the video--that I forgot until now--was Player. Oh well.

It's been a while since I've had the energy to write a thing so why not answer this?
Farron's complicated, to say the least. He would definitely be a good dad if he had the chance! He loves kids and would dote on his own constantly. He'd be making sure they're properly fed, splashing them in the bath, reading them stories and teaching them everything he knows about everything.
But not gil... never gil...
He actually is a dad but since he left Fanow before they were born (and the First entirely after that) he never got the chance to really be a dad. Hell, he doesn't even know that he actually had twins instead of just one kid like he thought. He'll be in for a surprise once he finds that out eventually. And he'll probably bawl like a baby over it too.
