Legit we have no idea. Maybe proto-hobbits do exist, minding their own business over in what will become Eriador. I like to imagine them getting into spats over Who Should Inherit Granny's Good Teapot while over in Beleriand there are balrogs and dragons and desperate battles and all that.

Or maybe they don't yet! No idea! An ongoing Thing in the books is that no one really knows where the hell hobbits came from. The elves are baffled. The dwarves don't know. Humans have no idea. Hobbits themselves think that it's not important, or at least not as important as discussing the finer points of the weather and how it will affect the potato crop.

Any Advice?

So-  Kind of a weird ask not gonna lie, but I’m not sure where to start. 

I’m starting my own business once I get out of highschool, and am currently building a business plan for the first phase for an FBLA competition. 

Simply put, its going to be a textile farm (so like wool, cotton, dyes, etc.) and I’m making it a partnership. Whomever I partner with would be in charge of running the majority of farm life, including any emergencies or land expansion. Huge changes would basically be the only thing I’ve gotta worry about, and adding new crops or livestock would be the only other big one I can think of atm that collaboration is necessary. 

How would I go about finding a business partner? Preferably a farmer of some sorts, my jobs business their job is land. There is the possibility of a yarn and greige mill being there as well, but if my business partner isn’t versed in that then adding another partner or hiring someone is probably the route to be taken. 

But like idk how to find a nice farmer willing to start a business growing cotton and raising sheep. 

Soooo uh yeah... any suggestions? (and I don’t have a location yet because at first this was going to be like the 4rth phase and I was going to use an out of country factory but i reworked things and now I’m here.)
