What know what I always thought the weirdest name for a pokemon was?

Girafarig.

I always thought it was a weird name and I've always had difficulty saying it.

The Pokémon itself doesn't bother me; I have nothing against it, heck, I'm using it in my current Pokémon Violet playthrough.

And the name for its evolution is just as weird, and a bit lazy.

Farigiraf. All it does it is put 'Farig' first and 'Giraf' last. It literally just switches those two parts of the name 'Girafarig'.

Again, I have nothing against the Pokémon themselves, I just find these names so weird.

What about you guys? What do you think is the weirdest name for a Pokémon?

I got you

1. Put a farigiraf or a gyarados in your first slot

2. Set up your sandwich and fly to tagtree thicket (dragon sandwich advised, grass sandwich causes foongus)

3. Go to the door for the navi squad Base.

4. To your right, you'll see a tree with an applin hanging from it, bump into it using raidon

5. Send out gyara or farig in let's go to attack it

6. As your pokemon is attacking applin, jump off raidon and crouch down in the nearest bush

If you performed this successfully, your pokemon should be in a cycle of bumping into the tree, then fighting an applin. They'll stop once they hit a shiny. Pop a podcast on and enjoy the ride!

A picture of an event that’ll take place in my human pokemon story. Farig, (the “humanized” tail of Girafarig, and the main character)

So, in the past (in this story universe), Girafarig were two separate people/pokemon, not related to each other at all when it came to species. Gir being one of the most normal of all pokemon, and Farig being a huge evil, overpowered TYRANT! However, long story short, the good team of human pokemon managed to put a kind of chain on him to weaken Farig, however, the chain could only be as strong as one of the other chained individuals was weak. (They were told something ELSE by the creator of the RAF, which was the name of the chain, so they thought something else). 

They ended up picking whom they thought was the strongest in their team, but ended up picking Gir, who happened to be the weakest. 

Anyway, fast forwards, the MAIN Character just so happens to be Farig’s great, great (I dont know how many great’s) Granddaughter! Neither her nor Farig actually know about this until a bit into the story. 

The whole importance of the main character has a long story behind it, so, if anyone has any questions about this story, do not hesitate to ask.

(Please note that the female in the picture is NOT Gir, and yes, i often put myself as the MC. And no, Farig is NOT my ancestor in real life, he doesn't exist... obviously.).

I hope they give farigiraf an evolution where the tail just completely takes over the body. and it even like flips upside-down. cuz everytime I look at it I’m like

here is a comic of Farig, my “human” version of Girafarig’s tail, messing with Gir, the front end of Girafarig. 

Farig is majorly nocturnal, and will actively consider nighttime as daytime, or morning. But he will sleep during the night as well, especially when it is somehow messing with Gir or the MC. 

The tether thing, between the two is the magic chain that the raf has between them, things can be between them, but they are connected permanently, until the raf somehow gets broken. 

I just forgot to color in the connection energy in the last slide.
