I know I haven’t been too active in my art as of late (I’ve been in a sort of funk) but the desire and urge to waffle on about all my characters has been stronger than ever- So I’m letting loose an invite to my rp/hang out discord server. The root of it rp setting wise is a homestuck dreambubble that is a very large and derelict ship that has found itself in the far reaches of the void, under the watch of eldritch forces… Feel free to bring in any characters you’d like or just vibe!

Looking for fantroll centered server?

One day in Alternia, four human children mysteriously appeared, claiming they had played a game called SBURB. This game, they said, had allowed the universe to end and had ultimately led to the downfall of the Empress, forcing the current ruler to abdicate. These children sought out the twelve eldest trolls on the planet, asserting that they wanted to shape a better future for Alternia. Initially, the twelve trolls were compelled to participate in the humans' plans, but they grew wary and resentful of these alien intruders who believed changing their society would be simple.

As time passed, the twelve trolls, tired of the humans' presumptuousness and convinced of their own superior understanding of their world, took action. When the humans had grown complacent, believing everything was proceeding smoothly, the trolls struck. They claimed the lives of these so-called gods, seizing control of their homeplanet.

The council of twelve remained, not out of a change of heart, but because they saw an opportunity to assert their dominance. Each member now reigns over their respective caste, governing in their unique ways. Politics, war, and relationships became their tools, and anything could happen to them and their followers as they navigated this new era of Alternian society.

Remember how excited I was to be making progress on those adoptables again? Well God or my cat decided that was unacceptable and knocked a glass of water onto my tablet after I'd gone to bed, leaving it to sit and soak all night. As a result, it is now deader than the proverbial doornail, and I need a new one.

So! All the finished calendar themed fantroll adopts are now up for sale.

JUNE, AUGUST, and SEPTEMBER are still WIPs until I get a new tablet.

DECEMBER, JANUARY, FEBRUARY and MARCH are all taken.

Nope I didn't, what I did do was make my own!

GHOST SHIP

A newly established 18+ RP Discord for HS! It's a Trollian/Pesterchum format where most interactions will be 'online' as if they have a Pesterchum account.

It's Multiversal, meaning you don't need to join a timeline. Just bring whoever you want to RP in Canon/Fantroll/HS OC and get chatting with a variety of different timelines.

Canon Divergent are welcome as well as doubles. If you don't want to RP don't worry, there's OOC channels where you can talk, share art, talk about your writing/OC's and get to know the people here.

is grumblr a separate thing to the wider tumblr roleplay community (and existing hs RP community inc fantrolls and other things? or what's up xD. as a long time roleplayer looking in just curious if you all know eachother)

grumblr doesn't have to be its own thing, as long as you tag your hs rp blog as grumblr, its grumblr. The whole shtick is that its troll Tumblr (though theres humans and cherubs scattered around as well). You can make blogs and post as little or as much as you like and interact or not with whoever you want

It started out in i think around September 2023 with roleplay blogs parodying subreddits. The people that were there at the start I think formed their own discord servers and things but It grew from there into a larger rp community. I always stayed exclusively in the grumblr side of roleplaying, since the noncomittal social media aspect made me join in the first place (i think i joined in November 2023?)

Most people don't know each other at the start i think but find friends within the community via the roleplay. I didn't know anybody at the start (and hadnt roleplayed in years actually) but i formed lots of friendships within the community which im immensely grateful for. I know it may seem cliquey from an outside perspective but its really not, all you have to do really is interact (which is scary asf at first but its not).

There's been some downs unfortunately but that's how it is with every community. In my opinion grumblr is a very creative concept and overall great thing. I don't think i ever would have made so many friends without it, and it really made me love making art and OCs again. Its really fun.
