These are pictures of what they gave me. hydrogen peroxide in a plastic cup, with two plastic gloves and a extra ziplock bag. It didn't leak on my way back home. I draw and think of many crazy things but this really happened. Disclaimer! I took some liberties in storytelling to make this work as a comic. I do like my dentist and this series is not meant as a bad review or anything! This all happened a while back and I just want to share this experience. Really happy with all your responses and reactions to my comics! People actually read this, yay! 😭🙏💖💖💖 To give a lil context about this one, I usually don't take painkillers and try to ignore pain and discomforts by working and distracting myself. My general practitioner and dentist already called me out on this, multiple times. I know now that it's okay to take painkillers for situations like these. But I keep finding it a weird question, rather than temporarily keeping the pain at bay I want to know what's causing it. My dentist suspected that a lil piece of the wisdom tooth that was pulled a year prior stayed behind and was the cause of it all. But it wasn't. As someone who has a history of bad teeth and caveties, hearing that there was nothing wrong was new. But the pain and anxiety took away most of that joy. Because, if it's not that? Then what is causing this? Is the spirit of my pulled wisdom tooth haunting me? Can you have pain for a molar that's no longer there? Is this... Last monday I had a checkup at the dentist and they moved to a very fancy new building. I was happy and intrigued at the same time that 'de tandenpoets draak' was still there, staring at me in the dentist chamber this time. 😂🙈 Being back at the dentist really reminded me of this whole adventure. I know a lot of people that HATE going to the dentist, I was one of them for a long time. Through this adventure I really started to appreciate them!
