Hey folks ! I've been meaning to make a personal art project and I've only made a logo for it so far. I'm real happy with how it turned out ! (I might change it up, this is just the preliminary stage) LOL I'm thinking of creating lineless art drawing featuring the Duo. I've had this in mind for quite a while now and I'm real excited to share it with you all! I've been rewatching a playthrough of my all time favorite videogame from my chilldhood called Jade Cocoon: Story of the Tamamayu. Sadly the american version of the logo is pretty boring so instead I opted to make a fan-edit of the original japanese one! I mean, its got a literal dragon so what's not to love! This hidden gem of a game means a lot to me and to be honest I'm shocked I never thought to make fanart for it long before now...

I'm planning to make more in the future but for those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about here's a brief summary:

"Jade Cocoon is the story of Levant, a young man who lives in the town of Syrus. The silent protagonist is guided by the player on his quest to follow in his, presumably, dead father's footsteps to become a Cocoon Master. To do this, he must marry a Na'gi woman, and is betrothed to a girl named Mahbu (voiced by Michelle Ruff). On the day of a large festival in Syrus, the village is attacked by demons known as the Onibubu, which cause many villagers to fall into a deep slumber. An elderly Nagi woman, Garai, repels the Onibubu using Nagi magic before their curse affects everyone.

After a quick wedding ceremony, Levant is given the title of cocoon master and leaves to explore the surrounding forest to find a rare herb rumored to be able to lift the curse. He traverses four forests on his quest, the Beetle, Dragonfly, Spider, and Moth forests, which are populated with a variety of monsters known as minions (or just Divine Beasts) that Levant may capture into cocoons and tame. Throughout Levant's journey, his wife, Mahbu experiences treacherous ordeals called Nagi Brandings in order to soothe the souls of the minions the protagonist captures. It's such a shame because I think as a self proclaimed queen of ironically genuine unironic vivziepop merch that I can say that I am, I saw at least a couple good options I would've loved to be seen made into mini posters or even little sketch books or something like I've seen them doing lately... I think I would've been tempted to buy this specific design as a mat or something too...smh.

On this day, "SpongeBob SquarePants" aired on Nickelodeon 25 years ago on May 1, 1999. 10 years later, "The Fairly OddParents: Wishology!" was released in theaters on the same day Spongebob had his 10th anniversary, with the premiere episode, "Help Wanted" as a featured short that plays before the movie (which is also available on the "Wishology!" DVD, Blu-Ray, and Digital releases).

Like "The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie", "The Fairly OddParents: Wishology!" was intended to end the series, but the show continued airing (until 2017) thanks to the movie's box office success, despite mixed-to-positive reviews, unlike "The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie", which received positive reviews.

To celebrate 15 years of the first theatrical "Fairly OddParents" movie, here's a fan recreation of the movie poster, just with the inclusion of "SpongeBob SquarePants: Help Wanted". I left some areas open in case you wanted to put in a good tagline for the movie on the top of the fan poster, along with the URL that promoted this movie on the bottom (even if it was just Nick.com).
