Background: Second son of King Constantine Rys and Queen Eleanor Rys, Liam is a kind-hearted, polite and sophisticated man with impressive diplomatic skills. Though he wasn't raised to be king, he was prepared from a very young age to serve the Cordonian Crown taking etiquette lessons, politics, philosophy, learning different languages (aside from English, he's fluent in Greek, Spanish, French and Italian) and even dancing and survival skills. While growing up, he was a free-spirited kid and had more opportunities to enjoy his childhood with his friends and the Walker family than his older brother.

After his mother's tragic passing, Liam became a reserved person, taking his role in the Royal family more seriously. With time, Liam grew apart from Drake (who left to the US to go to college) and joined the Royal Air Force to please his father. A few months after, the Royal family suffered an assassination attempt. Liam developed signs of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, avoiding social interactions, having trouble sleeping, being easily frightened/startled and showing some physical symptoms of panick (sweating, nausea, trembling). Leo asked Drake to return to the palace to help Liam, both encouraging the young prince to seek therapy.

As he got better, Liam enrolled in the University of Cordonia to study History and returned to the Royal Air Force. Liam had plans to follow an academic career when Leo abdicated the throne. After Liam got his major degree, he was formally introduced as the Crown Prince and officially prepared to rule the Kingdom. Though it was a drastic change of path in his life that required many sacrifices, Liam adjusted to the life of future monarch quite fast, undeniably enjoying the perks of using the many skills he had developed over the years to make a difference as a politician.

What's his family like?

Constantine wasn't a present parent, nor a father who easily showed affection towards his sons. Liam was mostly raised by his mother and a few nanies and tutors. Eleanor constantly talked about the importance of Constantine's role as king and father not just for their family but for the entire country, which is why Liam always looked up to his father.

Eleanor was a loving mother to him and his brother, but also disciplined them when necessary. She shared her love for reading, writing and History with Liam. Her passing had an enormous impact on Liam's life and personality. He still misses her dearly and visits her whenever he can. He always takes a bouquet of jasmines to her grave on Mother's day and on her birthday.

Being six years younger than Leo, the brothers always had divergences, often teasing each other, Leo and Liam played pranks that usually led to getting both of the. in trouble while growing up. Yet, Leo always knew Liam was a better fit for the Crown and has always been a protective of his baby brother, taking the blame for himself whenever Liam did something wrong, defending his brother from malicious comments and insults, helping him during his first months as Crown Prince and teaching him self-defense and mixed martial arts. Liam looks up to his brother and fully supports the lifepath and choices his older brother makes.

Regina entered the Royal family a few years after Eleanor's passing. Despite her usual commanding presence towards her stepsons, she cares for them deeply. Liam has great respect and fondness towards Regina.

Liam doesn't have a long list of relatives he's truly close to. The only exception are the Foredales, specially Lady Daphne.

Favourite childhood memory: Playing with Drake and Maxwell around the palace, trips to the Walkers ranch and summers at Applewood Manor.

Nicknames: He didn't use to have nicknames while growing up, but he loves all the petnames Jade has given him.

Favorite TV shows: Liam enjoys watching anything that gets his mind out of his life. He grew up watching The X-Files and Firefly with Drake and Maxwell. A friend introduced him to Death Note during his teenhood and it blew him away. Nowadays, he likes watching Stranger Things and Arcane by himself, but he often watches comedies like Friends and Parks and Recreation with Jade.

Biggest guilty pleasure: he's getting addicted to watching videos of people building things from scratch like furniture, houses or doing crafts. In any spare time he has, he will watch people building furniture out of bamboo, small cabins in the woods and intricate craftsmanship like jewelry design, intarsia and pastry sculpture.

Sweet or savoury? Sweet.

Favorite food: Baklava, chicken tagine, apple pie, any sort of pasta.

Goals for the future: Liam has many goals for Cordonia such as bringing back economic stability to the country, hosting big events that will increase tourism, supporting projects involving environmental sustainability, arts, culture and philanthropy, etc. But in his personal life, he simply wants to travel around the world with Jade, watch his children grow and spend as much time as he can with his loved ones.

Dog lover or cat lover?

Dog lover. He loves strolling with the family corgis. But he also likes Jade's cats and encourages his kids to have any domestic animals as long as they actually take care of them.

Early bird or night owl?

Early bird. But he can't deny he loves late nights with his wife.

How does he relax after a bad day?

It depends gon how bad the day was. On a not so bad day, half an hour listening to music (he has a soothing playlist on Spotify) when he needs to slow down will do. He goes horse riding or walking when he needs to clear his head. But on really tough days, he'll go to the gym to practice any sort of martial arts. Muay Thai and Krav Maga are his favorites.

Personality: INFJ-T (Turbulent Advocate)

One random headcanon: Liam joined the Cordonian Royal Air Force when he was nineteen. He was progressively rising on RAF ranks (he reached Flight Lieutenant rank) and was in his third year studying History when Leo abdicated the throne. He still pilots helicopters and small planes from time to time, but since he doesn't fly often, he has never piloted any aircraft with his children in it. He took Jade a few times when they were newlyweds (it involved a lot of begging and persuasion on her part), but there was always an aircraft pilot team on board just in case.

Calliope’ means “beautiful-voiced”. It’s also a keyboard instrument resembling an organ but with notes produced by steam whistles,

More plans for that Mermaid ISAT Au I was working on! Now I know I should be writing for my other stories, but this silly little plot is taking over my head. I can’t stop thinking about it!

I fell like Bonnie would be the type to imitate everything their sister does and ends up following her to work more often than not. Because of this little habit, Bonnie would sneak onto the merchants ships that Nille works for. Usually, this would end up in a light scolding from their sister, but this time pirates attack the ship and the siblings were separated in the chaos.

Nille pushes Bonnie into one of the last life boats, ending up saving their life at the cost of being separated. She gives Bonnie her hair chain in order for Bonnie to agree to leave in the dingy life boat (Not very stable cause the merchant ship Nille worked for was sketchy ‘hence the pirate attack).

Bonnie would be lost at sea for a while until a mermaid (Siffrin) finds them and brings them back home (unknowing to the mer). They would be found covered in dried bits of seaweed, cuts, and bruises. Bonnie would be unconscious throughout the whole journey to the mainland causing Frin to worry (Bonnie doesn’t end up finding out about Frin’s mermaid-ness until much later in the story).

Siffrin would give them the “sea’s blessing” (A mystery tattoo in the shape of a strange symbol (A star). No one knows where it comes from, but it is said to bring good luck to anyone’s ship if a person with the symbol is present.) on their upper arm. For Siffrin, the symbol is a way for them to see if the random guppy they found is alright and also works as a tracker. He can find Bonnie anywhere they are and would later follow their trail after being worried about them (and maybe also boredom from being kept in the sea for so long/ the need to explore).

Bonnie doesn’t care about the cool new protection they have and only wants to find their sisters which would eventually lead them to Odile’s research boat where the party meets up. They would sneak onto the vessel thinking it was a merchant ship, but ends up convincing Odile to help them anyway.

Isabeau was a guard Odile hired to protect her ship while sea bound and Mira is a researcher who transferred over to Odile’s team from Euphrasie branch, therefore the party meets and the story begins.

None of them realizes what lays in store for them ahead, but relationships and silly confrontations start soon after Siffrin finds his way on board Odile’s ship. Maybe if I ever write more for it we can see where this would lead, lol.

I see a ton of people in the TWST fandom mischaracterize characters so here is the first of possibly multiple character profiles + analysis I have done on TWST characters to perhaps help those that want to write fics about them.

I’ll start with one character I have written a lot for (some analysis borders on theory):

Riddle Rosehearts

General Overview

- 17 year old male

- Upper or Upper Middleclass

- Raised in a two parent household with parents who have marital issues.

- Only Child

- Both Parents have achieved higher levels education and are Doctors

- Second year high school student

- Attends four year boarding school, students ranging from ages 15-20

- Born and raised in the Queendom of Roses (An Archipelagic Country with what appears to be one main island)

Source Material

- Riddle is inspired by the Queen of Hearts from the Disney adaptation of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carole, Alice In Wonderland.

- Both Lewis Carole’s original writings and the Disney adaptation portray the Queen of Hearts as a childish woman with a quick temper and a penchant for punishing people by ordering that their head be chopped off.

- It’s shown that the Queen of Hearts is unreasonable and quick to act without thinking, as she resolves all conflicts with her orders of beheading.

Beliefs and Values

- Rules-> Riddle strongly believes in the upholding of rules, any breaking of a rule, big or small, should be punished.

- Education-> Riddle places emphasis on education, people should strive for a thorough understanding of subjects and maintain high marks throughout schooling.

- Relationships-> Riddle does not have many friends, but he wishes to have more, he’s exceedingly loyal to those he deems friends, and gives them his trust. He also has a strong loyalty to his family and the values his family has instilled in him.

Childhood and Upbringing

- Riddle’s mother and father fight often, and Riddle himself is aware of this, it is unknown if these fights have been occurring all of Riddle’s life or if this is a more recent development.

- Riddle’s Mother is a controlling woman who micromanaged her son’s life up until he attended Night Raven Academy. She is known to have made schedules for his entire day, manage his education by giving him lessons when he wasn’t at school, manage his meals and calorie intake, and isolate him from children his age.

- Little is known about Riddle’s father beyond the fact he is a doctor and that he fights with Riddle’s mother, but it can be assumed he was aware of Riddle’s mothers treatment of their son, and was either unable to stop it, uncaring enough to stop it, or complicit in it.

- Riddle was seen to have very little free time as a child, the only known free time being when Riddle was delegated time for independent study.

- Riddle was not seen to have gone outside much as a child, but it can be assumed that at some point he was either signed up for horseback riding lessons or taught riding by his mother based on his skill shown in his ceremonial robes vignette. (As it’s unlikely a teen who’s also busy with being a Housewarden and classes would be at a skill level high enough to impress Royal knights, who have likely been riding for years, with only one year of practice)

- Due to being isolated in his early life, Riddle grew up without friends, as a child he met Trey Clover and Alchemi Alchemivich “Che’nya” Pinka, who convinced him to go outside and play with them as well as try a Strawberry tart, when caught, Riddle was taken away and berated for not listening to his mother. He also had his individual study time taken away as punishment for breaking the rules. Riddle also witnessed Trey’s parents being berated for allowing Trey to be such a bad influence on Riddle when this happened.

Behavior

- Riddle is short tempered, he’s extremely focused on his goals and extremely dedicated, when things get in the way of his goals he can easily get irritated.

- Riddle has a tendency to overreact to things, when he sees people who’re breaking the rules he gets unreasonably angry and often reacts with his unique magic “Off with your head!” which forms an ornate collar around the neck of the target which restricts the target from using magic.

- Riddle is displayed to have a compulsion or compulsion like need to follow rules, even going so far as finding ways to follow rules that seem impossible, such as figuring out how to “dry off by taking a walk in the ocean” by walking around in the Octavinelle dorm until he was dry.

- Riddle is prideful, but also aware of and working on his shortcomings, he’s shown to be shameful of his rashness and how he has harmed his classmates, but he still upholds his ideals such as pushing himself and his house to get high grades.

- Despite being strict and short tempered, Riddle is very kind and dedicated to the others in his house and and other students who ask him for aide, he exhibits this many times in dialogue lines where he offers to help people understand material they’re struggling with and instances where he shows support for his underclassmen, such as attending Ace’s basketball game when invited.

Analysis and Interpretation

- Riddle Rosehearts was raised by a controlling mother who would emotionally abuse him when he went against her rules, this instilled a deep rooted fear within him. If Riddle breaks a rule, something bad will happen. He cannot break a rule, it terrifies him to break a rule. Riddle also wants to protect those around him from this as well, since he saw how Trey and his parents were treated by his mother. Riddle enforces the harsh punishment of temporarily taking away peoples magic in order to protect them from the worse consequences of their actions and stop them from committing more offenses.

- Riddle wants to be liked by his peers. He’s not purposely trying to separate himself from them by punishing them as Housewarden nor does he necessarily think himself better than them. He wants to make friends with people, he’s only ever been able to make friends with Trey and Che’nya. He wants to be a normal kid, but he can’t, he doesn’t know how to interact with people his age and that makes it hard for him to make friends.

- Riddle could have OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder)-> people with OCD have three main symptoms, Intrusive Thoughts/Obsessions, Compulsions, and Anxiety. The intrusive thoughts of someone with OCD pair with a compulsion, creating the anxiety: “If I don’t (carry out the compulsion), (Intrusive thought) will happen.” OCD is more likely to develop when someone experiences trauma or when their parents exhibit similar behaviors, and Obsessions and Compulsions usually have themes. Riddle has experienced trauma from his upbringing, watched his mother make such meticulous schedules that he had to follow, and has an apparent belief that breaking the rules will end in something bad happening, which leads to the possibility that his need to follow the rules is a theme of his compulsions, especially since he goes to extreme lengths to follow them and gets upset when others don’t.

There’s more I can say but I think this is a good sort of reference sheet for anyone looking to write about Riddle as a character.

Aeon Prometheus Laforeze, the Mysterious Traveler in The Curse of Darkness.

Now I'm entering dangerously extreme headcanon territory with this rewritten incarnation of Aeon, considering that:

- not only is he a stand-in for Saint Germain from the game, he is also retroactively N!Saint Germain's teacher in the art of magic and alchemy within the story. Saint Germain is the closest Aeon has to be a perfect student before Adventurer Lady (to be named later) came and dragged him down a dark path in Seasons 3 to 4.

- he's now the biological father of Rosalie and Julia Laforeze, explaining their magical abilities and heritage. While it is certainly dangerous for a time traveler like him to have any children, Aeon made sure that they wouldn't be harmed in any way due to his actions or by the hands of his enemies.

He's much older than his Judgement version while combining his personality with that of Saint Germain from the game, leaning heavily into being a mentor to Hector. He is extremely knowledgeable, a little bit mischievous in how much he toys with his guests, and harbors quite a dark past that enables him to empathize with someone like Hector and push him to be a better man.

As a magician, Aeon is right up there with being near omnipotent, exceeding even Dracula in terms of strength. He traverses through many worlds seamlessly using the same kind of magic that made the Infinite Corridor possible (again, the Infinite Corridor comes into play again here). Unlike N!Saint Germain, I won't be nerfing his status as a powerful magician due to my mandate to introduce more magical elements to the story.

His oracular power to see the future is much stronger than that of Julia, able to perceive different paths and glimpses to various futures. He simply chooses the one where his daughters would benefit greatly from it while also guiding humanity to a path free of evil. To this extent, he has helped humanity evolve throughout the ages and he himself quietly pioneered the study of alchemy for years to come.

For much of the story, he only appears through Hector's dreams, "inviting" him to his tea party where he could communicate and share advice to him. This would be a reoccurring thing throughout The Curse of Darkness, with Aeon's mysterious facade being stripped down layer by layer as more of him and his past is revealed.

His past, without spoiling anything, involves his previous ties with the Architect of the Infinite Corridor, how he met and tutored Saint Germain, his relations with Varney and the other Reapers (more on that soon), how his daughters play an important role in the future, and so on.

Bugs Bunny — Warmonger

His very name strikes fear into the hearts of the most hardened warrior. Crimson and gold tear through all in his path, unmatched in its strength, and unrelenting in its power and fury. Celestial Warrior, Warmonger, descends upon the battlefield.

Bugs Bunny was a household name that was revered amongst comedians in Acmeville, and beloved by many. And one wouldn’t be blamed for being awestruck by him—his easygoing trickster nature would draw one to him like bees, something his greatest rivals would begrudgingly admit. Get to know him personally, and he’s the best friend one could have. Draw his ire, and no force in nature will stop him from getting his revenge, however creative and absurd it may be.

Yes, Bugs Bunny was a household name. Keyword was.

The world’s most famous star was caught up in a freak explosion in Acmeville’s business district, of which his co-star, Daffy Duck, was the only survivor. Theories ran rampant and multiple searches were conducted, but all came back negative, and everyone in the world came to accept the worst as pure fact. The world mourned the death of Bugs Bunny while simultaneously blaming Daffy for the buck’s death, accusing him of foul play. And while justice is still being pursued, the world moved on as more chaotic incidents forced them to turn their attention elsewhere. Still, some of his most rabid fans believe that he was still alive, and that no mere explosion could kill him. They believe that he’s laying in low and pursuing the person who tried to kill him, as Bugs wasn’t one who would let an attempt on his life go unchallenged.

As Droop-a-Long Coyote would learn, those rabid fans had a few things right, and they got a few things wrong.

Bugs Bunny did, in fact, die that day—but the reasons for his death weren’t as cut and dry as people believed.

Bugs Bunny was, in fact, alive, having come back from death as a pure Celestial warrior. Revived by arcane arts that are beyond human comprehension, it resulted in one of the most powerful Celestials known to mankind, with an Imperium Crystal that craves blood. Though already feared for his creative methods of retaliation, his masterful use of one of the few complete relics in the world—Dáinsleif, which was sought by many—and his Astral Skill, Flare Stealer, makes him a menace. While Dáinsleif draws its power from the blood of the innocent, his Astral Skill gives him the ability to steal Imperium Mana directly from an Imperium Crystal, effectively draining their heart. This essentially makes him a vampire, for he needs the Imperium Crystals of the innocents to keep him alive.

And yes, he was pursuing the person who killed him…but his path to justice meant leaving a trail of blood in his wake, something that he never would have done in his earthly body.

Droop-a-Long Coyote would meet his childhood hero in the worst way possible, learning that the “Bugs Bunny” he grew up with now only existed in the past. The Bugs Bunny he grew up with never had a soulless look in his eyes. The Bugs Bunny he grew up with never wore such armor. The Bugs Bunny he grew up with never wielded a sword so magnificently terrifying it froze him in place. The Bugs Bunny he knew could give his adversaries a thrashing—but “thrashing” seemed too gentle of a word to describe what the buck did to Avenger I, to Titan, and even Reaper.

Emerald green eyes, once soulless, were now alive and gleaming with intense rage. If speaking alone could kill someone, he would’ve dropped the moment he heard the phrase that lent to his new name, the phrase that signaled a terrible end for the one who wronged him—

“Of course you realize, this means war.”

Now, don’t worry, I will do a proper profile for Warmonger when I get the chance. I just don’t have the time because I’m gonna head into work in a few, and the length of this profile is gonna be the same as the Second Styles for both Super Why and Princess Presto (in other words, a freakin’ essay), so I’ll have to put it off until this weekend!

But anyway—LOOK AT HIM. LOOK AT HOW BADASS HE IS. I was going for the “edgy anti villain” angle for Bugs, and it came out perfectly. I was trying to avoid doing black and red, but since Huck had black, lavender and purple and Ric has black, orange and amber/brown, I figured it’d make sense ^^ Plus the color scheme suits him really well!

Make no mistake, Bugs is one of the most broken characters in the cast—with a name like Warmonger, would you expect anything less?—and is able to wipe the floor with Huck, Yogi and Ricochet easily. But there’s a reason behind it, though, a reason that will be revealed in the upcoming profile!

I was half tempted to start numbering this like I did with the Einherjar Files and the Attero Dominatus Files, but I wanted to get Huck, Ricochet and Yogi done before I start in on this profile. And yes, I started out of order. BUT I DON’T CARE. Lol. XD

That’s all I’ll have to say for the time being, but I hope you love this piece as much as I loved working on it!

There's no chapter this week, but I wanted to post a little something. Here you have a drawing of Helena I did back in September, but I just never got around to posting it.

I was discovering my art style back then and tried a bit more realistic one connected to some pop art.

I finally decided to do her character profile ;)

It includes some Paper Hearts spoilers, because you find out all of this through out the fic (if you are caught up with chapter 23, you're perfectly fine). This is her background before the plot of Paper Hearts.

Hair: Chocolate brown, wavy and usually let loose. For formal events she tends to put it up in a bun, or other fancy hairstyle. She ties in a low braid for practice.

Clothing: Helena loves simple and sophisticated clothing. She usually wears longs dresses, appropriate for her Royal status. Classical Drazel household dress i a maxi empire style one, with a low neckline and bare shoulders. It has a brown belt going below the bust. However when Helena spends her evenings in the library she likes to put on soft pants and blouses. For practice she wears a red shirt, with dark leather pants and black boots. Additionally while working as a healer she wears hospital clothes, a white blazer with blue trimmings and white pair of pants.

Personality:

Helena is a cheerful and charming person, very much a dreamer. She loves to make silly jokes, fool around and tease, when she feels comfortable. She is outspoken and knows how to behave in social situations, due to long years of court etiquette lessons. Helena is very curious and a bit nosy, which sometimes can be bothering. However it usually comes form her deep sense of caring for others, another reason for why she became a healer. She likes to gossip and know what's going on. She is stubborn, quite feisty and not afraid to speak her mind, or bite back. Sometimes she can go overboard and is not able to control her sharp tounge, ending up hurting people in the process. She is also known for her low patience and tends to take things personally. Helena is still a princess and can act spoiled from time to time.

Background:

The eldest child of the seven Royal Drazel siblings. Helena was raised in the Drazel territory in Diamond kingdom by both of her loving parents. Her mother Luciana comes from Clover Raque and used to be best friends with Acier Silva in their youth. Her father is a member of one of Diamond's Royal houses, but his relationship with the King was severed after Helena was born. The family moved to their territory and separated themselves from politics. Because of that Helena had a fairly peaceful childhood, not comprehending the terrible crimes of her country.

She studied well and was raised, and prepared to be a respectable Lady of a House. Multiple times while Luciana was sick, she would take her mother's responsibilities and fill in.

She's never travelled and stayed her whole life in the safe embrace of Drazel Territory, so she is very excited to breakaway and study in Clover.

Helena used to be in multiple relationships, but she could not make herself to treat them seriously, because she did not love any of the men she dated. They lasted very shortly and she would break up after she noticed the men getting too attached. Her mother was very upset about her commitment issues and worried about Helena being alone in the future, so she continued on sending her daughter on blind dates with nobles. Luciana ceased during so after a big fight her and Helena had a year before Paper Hearts.

Helena and Nozel actually "met" some time after she was born, when Nozel and Acier visited the Drazel Estate (He was just 4, so he can't really remember).

An accident in her youth, made Helena dedicated to become a healer and caused her to dislike combat. Because of that she didn't develop many fighting skills. (She's pretty bad... especially for a Royal)

I was having a bit of trouble keeping track of all the information for each character in “In Stars and Time” the video game, so I went onto the wiki and compiled the basic details of each character! I did little doodles of each of their spites as well, so it’s easier to understand! None of this information is mine! It’s just put in an easier way for everyone to quickly check some info for their stories! I included each character’s nicknames for each other, where they are from, and their starter weapons. I ran out of room for Bonnie and the other characters, although I’m planning to make them a sheet too.

Anyway, for those of us who like to write stories, I hope this helps when you’re in a bind!
