TW: Horror and some flashing

I love imagining The Book of Saul as analog horror…

I want to thank one of my friends who gave me this idea lol. We were discussing about how Saul’s story can be interpreted as some kind of analog horror where everyone around Saul is a threat to him, and he sees everyone as a horrifying version of themselves (especially David and Samuel), while we as the viewers perceive everyone as the enemy. And ofc, he has a bunch of terrifying visions caused by his paranoia.

This is basically the Saul retelling I’m writing LOL. The Book of Saul is basically that, and I have for the longest time loved imagining it as analog horror or something. I even made an analog AU where the Book of Samuel takes place in some kind of lost game that you have to play, and you play as David.

But yeah, I made this thingy! It has to do with the Book of Saul, and so Ze’ev, Saul’s evil spirit, is giving Saul some silly surprises 😊🎁🎉
