The corman fantastic four coustumes still are the best designed suit to me. I do like the blue and white coustume design. I never liked the badge design on the 2005 coustumes. The multiverse of madness is a bit overdesigned for my taste. The 2015 coustumes barley count and are an easy last place.

sounds like you're not reading comics for reading comics sakes, then, because there are a million good comics and you don't have to search for tiny kernels of decent. here's a bunch just off the top of my head:

personal favourites of mine also include superman: son of kal-el, birds of prey (1999) and batgirl (2009) but i suppose those do come with an asterisk, so they don't make the official list.

and you'll notice how batman/superman heavy that list is because that's most of what i've read so far, there are SO many good things out there i haven't even glanced at yet.

right now i'm trying to branch out and reading "justice league international" and "alan scott: the green lantern", both of which i've also heard great things about prior.

as for non big two comics, there's a lot of amazing stuff there, too! none of these are gonna be insider tips (not that the above where lol) bc i'm not as into this scene but like:

if reading comics feels like a chore to you, maybe you just don't like reading comics. or at the very least capeshit isn't for you.

i was talking specifically about teen titans (2003), which is fine and enjoyable enough if you don't know any of the characters yet -- and then you read more comics and realize "hm, maybe this wasn't so great characterisation-wise lol".

i'm not a fan of some people in the notes implying all comics suck and you just have to power through them for a tiny spark of good every ten issues. you weren't the only one who did that and i apologize for singling you out, this just broke the camel's back, so to speak ^^'

also, edit because i just saw the edit above: have people just not heard the phrase "you're weak and won't survive the winter" before. obviously that's just hyperbole. obviously i don't think you're actually weak and will perish before the year is over, i just think you're a little bit of a loser, oh my god, lol. i'm not gatekeeping, i'm telling you i WANT YOU TO READ COMICS; READ THEM; FUCKING READ THEM; MY PINNED POST IS A READING GUIDE I SPENT WEEKS MAKING; FUCKING READ COMICS

people who say it's difficult to get into comics are weak and won't survive the winter. you pick a random comic, google "read online free" and then you read a hundred issues of a run you'll like well enough but realize really sucks like two years later.

it is really quite a shame that your harugou fics don't get the attention they deserve because theyre fanastic! have you ever tried writing for another more popular free! ship or something more mainstream?

Aw thank you, that's very kind of you to say!

I've said it before but I don't actually mind that my HaruGou fics don't get a lot of readership. I pretty much expected it because it's (as someone described) "the most insane crackship of the Free! fandom" lol and those who do read it are really supportive!

As for mainstream ships, I've started writing for Cliji from FFXVI 😄 I don't think I have the capacity for anything else at the moment, what with four WIPs on the go...
