NYC #RWRBMOVIE FAN SCREENING SPOILER-FREE RECAP!

I have no idea how to sum up one of the most amazing nights I’ve had in NYC in a single post. What an outright JOY it was to see this movie in the company of fellow fans, Casey McQuiston, and Matthew López. My plus-one was the kind and talented DJ who oversaw the marketing of RED WHITE AND ROYAL BLUE when it was going through its first paperback publication and we spent the night pinching ourselves at this incredible full circle moment.

Now. About the movie. You will not see me dropping spoilers here, but let it suffice to say I laughed, I screamed, I cheered, and most of all, I LOVED this movie. It is a true love letter to the source material and to the fandom, and every modification made to adapt it to screen made sense and added to my enjoyment. I cannot WAIT until the world gets to see it. All the flowers to Casey, Matthew, Taylor Zakhar Perez, Nicholas Galitzine, Rachel Bilson, Aneesh Sheth, Ellie Bamber, Sarah Shahi, Uma Thurman, Stephen Fry, and every cast and crew member whose labor made it a masterpiece.

I’m so grateful to Linor, Emily (aka. rwrbupdates) and the rest of the RWRBonPrime team for bringing me back home to NYC for this magical night. I will never forget it. 🍿🇺🇸🇬🇧🎬🎉
