Here in Australia, alongside the Easter Bunny and the Easter Chick, we have the Easter Bilby. It's a fun little twist on the classics, while raising awareness for an endangered species. So here's our favourite little half Australian girl (and her REAL parents) here to wish us a happy bunny bilby day!

Can Varian set something on fire? Like not anything important, just like a scarf, a bag, a castle of people that hurt his friends and/or family, an apple, an enchanted sword, a single leaf. Just something no one would really miss, you know?
to be honest i associate all arson-related activities and setting things on fire to yong. that kid needs to have weirdo behavior too. varian can have something else. the flame belongs to yong

so i have two things i've wanted to talk about for a while
the 1st one:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
what do you mean, yagami. what exactly do you mean.
actually, i'm losing it at the fact that not only yagami wanted to avoid kuwana resenting him forever, but kuwana ALSO considers his resentment as a good enough insentive for yagami to not do it ever again
like. all delusions aside. a dude, who just thinks the other dude is being nosy and annoying and that he fucks everything up for him, tells him to stop being nosy and annoying, or his opinion on him would change for the worse irreversibly (what a threat). while that other dude figured that he will be threatened that way and went behind that guy's back, did the thing the dude will be upset about, and came back to inform him that he did the thing, because he cares about the dude's opinion for some reason and wants to be the one who'd tell him about the thing. oh, and they are called ENEMIES by others. they hate each other actually.
btw, yagami has never gone to bother kusumoto again. and did it only when she betrayed kuwana, only to say that he doesn't give a fuck about her anymore
they are so normal about each other.
P.S.: tesso honey i'm so sorry that this keeps happening with you
the 2nd one:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
or, how i call this, the most romantic thing a protagonist can say to an antagonist
"i know so well that it scares me" you bitchass loser.
...actually, no, i have no commentary to this one. this is just a normal thing to say when a person confesses to the reasons on why he murders people. why am i making a big deal out of this. revenge killing is fine actually
✨bonus thingie✨:
Tumblr media
simp behaviour tbh. so cringe of you, kuwana.

I actively hope capcom never clarifies Phoenix's parental situation for a whole host of reasons that are outside of the scope of this post. however, for my own masochistic reasons, I do tend to imagine him having grown up with parents that died in his late teens. this is only made more enticing when considering him in a relationship with Edgeworth-- Edgeworth, whose mother was never in the picture and whose father died when he was eight. Edgeworth, whose second chance at a father was the man who murdered his first. Edgeworth, whose last hope at having some sort of parental figure in his life was marrying into a loving family. it must have been agony for him to hear happy stories of Phoenix's parents and mourn, selfishly, what he'd nearly had but never would, neither with them nor with his own. I imagine by the time he's in his later teens he's disenchanted with the idea of capital-f Family, but given how deep his bond was with Gregory, it's hard to believe the hope of regaining that ever leaves you entirely.

A Good Day for Death (Book 1) Chapter Eighteen
Wednesday Addams x Reaper! Reader
Chapter Eighteen: A Good Day for Resurrection
Summary: Laurel has kidnapped (Y/N) and Wednesday, and now the time has come for her to bring Crackstone back to destroy the outcasts of Nevermore.
When (Y/N)’s eyes opened again, they found themself lying on rough stone ground. They groaned and looked around themself, their body aching and unable to move. Their strength was still stolen by Laurel’s poison. Still, (Y/N) forced themself to figure out where they were and what was happening.
Chains loops around their wrists and held them close to the wall. Candles lit Crackstone’s Crypt where they were locked up. Near the actual stone coffin, in the symbols carved in a circle around it, jars of the hyde’s, no, Tyler’s victims’ body parts stood. A silver circle rested in the center of the coffin’s stone walls, polished to shine brilliantly in the candlelight.
(Y/N) groaned and looked in the direction of the exit to try to figure out if they could escape. Instead, they were met with the worse sight of Wednesday manacled to the ceiling, suspended uncomfortably by her wrists.
Wednesday’s eyes were opening as well, and Tyler, who was helping Laurel put out jars, smirked and walked over. Wednesday’s glare was deadly, full of seething loathing, but Tyler was unafraid.
“Kind of a deja-vu thing we got going on, huh?” said Tyler.
“Except I won’t cry and whine like a child,” retorted Wednesday.
“Tyler, go wait by the boat,” ordered Laurel before they could continue.
Tyler bit the inside of his cheek in annoyance, but Wednesday had to hold back a smirk. “Yes,” she said. “Listen to your master and be a good little hyde.”
Tyler narrowed his eyes and intentionally leaned in as he walked away. “You’re not going to be witty once I start tearing everyone you care about apart, or did you forget I have the power here?”
Wednesday didn’t dignify him with a response but narrowed her eyes as he walked away. Without him in front of her, she could properly take in what was going in Crackstone’s Crypt. Her eyes widened as she saw (Y/N)’s body lying unmoving on the ground.
Laurel noticed her gaze and smiled. The friendly gesture was a stark contrast to the malevolence in her eyes. “Relax, they’re not dead.” She sighed. “I had to use quite a strong poison on them since they were so resistant to my usual. You outcasts can be so troublesome.”
To prove to Wednesday that they were alive, (Y/N) forced their eyes open to meet her gaze. Wednesday let out a small breath of relief at the sight. She wasn’t sure what she’d do if (Y/N) was dead. She’d have to kill Laurel and Tyler.
Laurel laughed at Wednesday. “You know, having you two become friends wasn’t planned, but it does make things easier.” She smirked. “If you try to be clever, (Y/N) gets the consequences.”
Wednesday narrowed her and seethed. That’s why Laurel had pressed so much about Wednesday and (Y/N)’s friendship. She was figuring out Wednesday’s weaknesses, and she had let too much show.
“So what, you have to resort to hostages? How unoriginal,” said Wednesday.
Laurel pouted slightly. “Oh, no, not a hostage. I need them for the ritual. Can’t use the key without making the door first.”
Wednesday frowned. Those were the same words Goody had used so long ago. “You are the key. The other is the door.”
Laurel turned back to arranging the jars of body parts into the circle. “I have to admit, that shape-shifting stunt with Weems almost worked. But as my father always said, ‘If you want to outsmart an outcast, you got to out-think ‘em.’ Poor Weems just wasn’t as smart as she thought.”
(Y/N)’s stomach dropped. Laurel’s words implied the obvious: Weems was dead. (Y/N) didn’t argue with her policies and coverups, but Weems was trying to protect her students. Knowing that she was dead trying to confront the true mastermind was heartbreaking.
“You know, we have roots that go all the way back to Crackstone’s Crypt,” said Laurel.
“So you come from a line of psychotic killers, too,” observed Wednesday.
Laurel’s expression became angry at the insult of her ancestors. “Joseph Crackstone was a visionary, dedicated to protecting normies from outcasts until his life was cut short by your ancestor, Goody Addams.”
            “Good for her,” muttered (Y/N).
Laurel sent them a nasty glare. “And then, to add insult to injury, they stole his land to build that abomination of a school.” She calmed and became conversational again. “But, throughout the centuries, my family has remained committed to Crackstone’s mission. My brother died serving that cause. I decided to take a different approach. The supernatural.”
Doesn’t that make you a hypocrite? thought (Y/N). I hate fanatics. No logic whatsoever.
“Tyler’s been collecting these body parts to resurrect Crackstone,” realized Wednesday.
Laurel smiled proudly. “The one man who nearly succeeded in eradicating the outcasts!”
“You can’t wake the dead,” groaned (Y/N), pulling themself up into a seated position.
“I believe Goody Addams would disagree,” said Laurel, picking up a Book of Shadows.
“Goody’s Book of Shadows,” recognized Wednesday. “You’re the one who stole the original from Pilgrim World.”
“It wasn’t enough for Goody to kill Crackstone,” explained Laurel. “She had to curse his soul, too.”
“What does this have to do with us?” asked (Y/N), narrowing their eyes.
Laurel smiled. “I have to open the door between life and death. I had no idea how I was supposed to do that, but then I learned that as a child of the god of death, you’re a reaper. You can breach the gap between life and death.” She grinned at (Y/N). “You’re the door.” She looked at Wednesday. “And you’re the key. Your arrival at Nevermore set the wheels of my plan into motion. With just (Y/N), well, I can create a door, but I can’t bring Crackstone back. But with you, Goody’s descendant, I can break the blood lock she placed on the sarcophagus sealing his soul away.” Laurel gestured around her. “And it’s a blood moon now! Everything worked out perfectly! I just had to bide my time, make you feel special, until you were ready to be sacrificed.”
The amber light of the blood moon shone down through the circular window of the crypt, shining directly on the sarcophagus.
            Laurel smirked. “It’s time.”
She walked over to (Y/N) and unlocked the manacles from the wall. Using the chain, she dragged them to the sarcophagus as they struggled against her weakly. Wednesday narrowed her eyes and pulled against her chains uselessly. Laurel pulled (Y/N)’s hands up to the silver crest on the sarcophagus. Picking up a knife, Laurel slashed it across (Y/N)’s palm. They cried out, and Wednesday furiously lunged towards them, seething against her chains.
Laurel pressed their bleeding hand to the crest, and it burned with power, turning red-hot. (Y/N) gritted their teeth and whimpered in pain, trying to pull their hand away. Finally, the crest turned back to silver, and Laurel pulled (Y/N)’s hands away. She tossed them to the side, and they curled up in pain from their hand and the still abating-poison.
“(Y/N)…” said Wednesday, straining towards them.
“Your turn,” said Laurel, unlocking Wednesday and pulling her towards the sarcophagus.
Wednesday struggled to get to (Y/N), but Laurel forced her to the sarcophagus. With another slash of the knife, she pressed Wednesday’s hand against the crest again. Wednesday forced herself to keep any cries of pain down as the crest burned against her and drained her energy. Once it died away, Laurel forced Wednesday to slump in exhaustion against the wall.
As the blood moon shone down on the sarcophagus, Laurel opened Goody’s Book of Shadows and began the chant to bring Crackstone’s back. As she spoke, Wednesday managed to reach into her shoe and pull out a penknife. Watching Laurel carefully, she fiddled with her manacles to unlock them. Laurel finished and put down Goody’s Book of Shadows, gazing reverently at the sarcophagus.
The runes beneath the jars lit up as the magic activated. Thunder boomed, and suddenly, the moonlight flashed between amber and bright blue. Electricity crackled through the jars into the sarcophagus. Smoke flowed from beneath the lid. (Y/N) and Wednesday watched with wide eyes as an expectant, excited look came across Laurel’s expression.
Smoke continued to billow up from the sarcophagus until it was obscured from view. When it cleared, a slightly Frankenstein’s-monster-looking Crackstone stood before them. (Y/N) pushed themself farther away as their strength returned little by little.
Laurel stepped towards Crackstone. “I am of your blood. I have summoned you to rid the world of outcasts once and for all.” Crackstone extended a hand. Laurel took his hand reverently and kissed his ring.
“My vengeance will be swift and true,” said Crackstone, his voice scratchy with death but filled with cruelty.
“As will mine,” said Wednesday, jumping to her feet after she finished unlocking her wrists. She moved to take a step forward.
Crackstone’s eyes widened as he saw her. He raised his staff, and it pulsed blue with magic, stopping Wednesday in her tracks. “Goody Addams,” he rasped. “You haunt me still. You will suffer the same fate you bequeathed me.” He removed a dagger from his belt. Before Wednesday could even think to react, he stabbed her roughly.
“Wednesday!” cried (Y/N) as Wednesday gasped in pain.
“Now burn in the eternal fires of hell,” said Crackstone. He twisted the blade in Wednesday stomach, “Where you belong.”
Wednesday clutched her stomach and the dagger in it as she stumbled backwards into the wall and slumped to the ground. Crackstone turned his eyes to (Y/N).
“I’ve already poisoned that one,” said Laurel, eager to please Crackstone.
Wednesday looked at Laurel in alarm, narrowing her eyes angrily as she gasped for air. “You…said they weren’t dead!”
“You’re right. They weren’t. But they will be soon,” said Laurel, smirking. She and Crackstone walked on, leaving the crypt. “Sweet dreams!” she called as one by one, the magic in the air extinguished the candles lighting the room.
(Y/N) and Wednesday were left dying alone in the dark while Laurel and Crackstone left to kill their friends. (Y/N) dragged themselves to Wednesday side.
“Wednesday…” they said. “Wednesday, you need to stay awake.”
“I haven’t lost enough blood to do that,” she muttered.
(Y/N) reached out to lay their hands on her wound. “I can try to help you, and then you can go after Crackstone.”
Wednesday shook her head and pushed their hands away. “You have a chance if you keep your strength…You could kill yourself giving me strength…”
(Y/N) shook their head and then groaned. They were still quite weak. “Nope…not dying…I feel like shit though. Apparently it takes a pretty hardcore poison…to kill me.”
“You…can’t risk it…” insisted Wednesday. She didn’t want (Y/N) to die because of trying to keep her alive.
“They can,” said a new voice.
(Y/N) and Wednesday turned sharply to see the ghost of Goody Addams kneeling by them. Wednesday was used to her visions of her ancestor, but (Y/N) was surprised. They suspected they saw Goody because they were a reaper and on the brink of death.
“Oh, great, you’re here to take me to the other side,” groaned Wednesday.
“Listen, Crackstone must be stabbed through his black heart,” said Goody. “It’s the only way he will be vanquished now and forever.”
“Is your spectral vision impaired? I’m dying,” snapped Wednesday.
“Your necklace. It’s a powerful talisman,” said Goody.
“My mother told me it’s for conjuring visions,” muttered Wednesday.
“It is also a conduit for conjuring spirits,” explained Goody. “It will allow me to pass through you and mend your wounds. Then the reaper can give you strength to fight. Just know, once I do, you will never see me again.” Goody glanced between her and (Y/N). “The school needs you.”
(Y/N)’s hand found Wednesday’s as they readied themself to give her strength. Goody placed a hand over Wednesday’s heart and pulled the dagger from her stomach. Wednesday gasped as it wrenched free. Goody focused, and her body glowed with a golden spectral light. A light smile crossed with a smirk flitted across her face as she dissolved into a ghostly mist and drifted into Wednesday’s body. (Y/N) took a deep breath and let their own life force drift into Wednesday. It weakened them further, but it let Wednesday sit up, alive and strong once again.
“(Y/N),” said Wednesday worriedly, supporting them as their head spun. “I told you that was too risky.”
(Y/N) shook their head. “Worth it. You can fight. And I’m alive. I’ll be fine.” They gripped Wednesday as they stood together. “We need to stop Crackstone.”
Wednesday held them up carefully. “You are in no shape to fight.”
“I’m recovering from the poison. I’ll be fine.” (Y/N) looked at Wednesday with a fire of determination in their eyes. “I’m in this fight, Wednesday. You’re not doing this on your own.”
Wednesday met their gaze and nodded. She couldn’t stop them and their resolution. “Can you run?”
(Y/N) let go of Wednesday and stood. They nodded sharply. “Yes.”
“Then we need to get to Nevermore before Crackstone and Laurel get to everyone,” said Wednesday.
(Y/N) and Wednesday didn’t waste another moment. They ran out of Crackstone’s Crypt into the woods. As they ran, they heard the keening howl of werewolves echo around them. They were familiar with the sound, but it was oddly haunting with the circumstances. (Y/N) and Wednesday halted as they rounded a tree and found Tyler standing before them.
He tilted his head. “Laurel said you were dead.”
“We’re feeling much better now,” said (Y/N).
Tyler eyes trailed to them, and he took a step forward. “You’re a pest.”
“This won’t end well for you,” said Wednesday darkly.
Tyler looked at them both with cruel determination. His eyes widened, and his clothes bulged as he transformed into the hyde. He roared at them, and (Y/N) and Wednesday back away. He swiped for Wednesday, but (Y/N) pushed her out of the way. Tyler sent them flying across the clearing, and they hit the ground hard.
“(Y/N)!” gasped Wednesday, running to their side as Tyler went for them again.
Before he could tear them to pieces, and blur of blonde fur jumped through the air, tackling him to the ground. A werewolf growled at Tyler as he hit a tree hard and snarled in pain. The werewolf, sporting slightly pink hair between the ears, looking back at Wednesday and (Y/N).
            “Enid,” realized (Y/N).
Tyler threw Enid to the side, but she rolled over and sprung back at Tyler. She was holding him off so that (Y/N) and Wednesday could confront Laurel and Crackstone. They didn’t waste her efforts and ran for Nevermore.
They ran past the students running away from their school and into the museum of old Nevermore student artifacts. They needed weapons, and this was the only place that had any. Wednesday saw a sword and grabbed it. (Y/N) saw a scythe and instantly picked it up.
“Are you ready?” asked Wednesday, her eyes narrowed in concentration.
(Y/N) spun the scythe experimentally. It felt just right in their hands. They nodded. “Ready.”
It was time to battle Crackstone.
