ERA UMA VEZ . . .

Branca de Neve foi a primeira esposa do Príncipe Encantado, mas acabou tendo seu coração partido quando o pegou na cama com sua irmã, Rosa Vermelha. Ela decidiu partir em uma jornada de autodescoberta através da floresta, onde se perdeu e encontrou, por sorte ou favor do destino, a cabana do Caçador. Com sua mania de invadir propriedades alheias — por isso ela é tão amiga da Cachinhos Dourados —, Branca se fez em casa no local até a chegada do Caçador.

Sendo um cavalheiro, apesar de um pouco rude, ele a acolheu no local. Percebendo a falta de propósito da mulher, resolveu ensiná-la a combater, batalhar e até mesmo sobreviver. Ela agradeceu pelo trabalho duro, que a fez novamente enxergar o mundo como um local cheio de desafios, onde as pessoas precisavam de ajuda, e também fortaleceu seu coração para lidar com outras pessoas. Com o tempo, Branca absorveu a natureza humilde do Caçador e os dois acabaram se apaixonando.

Quando casaram, Branca decidiu retornar ao seu território, visto que já havia deixado Germonia sem governo por muito tempo. Ela encontrou o trono ocupado por criaturas mágicas rebeldes, mas conseguiu enganá-las, evitando uma guerra civil e reavendo a coroa para si após estratagema. O povo de Germonia louva Branca de Neve como uma deusa e sua palavra é lei. O local se tornou famoso após o banimento de maçãs, assim como por seus artífices, os melhores entre todos os continentes.

FAMÍLIA WOLF — Chapeuzinho possui uma enorme raiva pelo Caçador, responsável por matar o Lobo Mau nos contos. Esse desgosto passou aos seus filhos, criando uma rixa entre as famílias que vez ou outra se transforma em confronto físico.

FAMÍLIA LEIDERHONSEN — Devido ao seu investimento em equipamentos para caça, os Leiderhonsen constantemente buscam os serviços dos artífices de Germonia para desenvolver novos dispositivos malucos vindos de seus sonhos mais loucos. Devido às infestações de bruxas em busca de artefatos mágicos nas terras dos White, Branca já contratou os irmãos para dar fim à ameaça, desde que não usassem métodos letais. Desse acordo surgiu uma boa relação, motivada pelos negócios.

Neon White parents Headcanons (some cute some random)/j

Green and Violet's parents:They're fucking orphans LMAO

Yellow's parents:Were actually attentive and caring, and always made the best out of their situation. His dad(mazie) worked at a dump and fixed up cars for extra cash. His mom(mango)made candles with 2 other friends, as well as working at a grocery store. Mango would always try to spend as much time as possible with her kids due to her fragile health, and would always try to stay optimistic for her family. Mazie can't spend as much time with the kids, but every Sunday, he always takes them to the park to play around and make them sandwiches.

Blue's Parents:His mom(Azure), while very caring, would often zone out from time to time, as well as try to get validation from people to a dangerous extent(gambling with her savings and dipping into her kids as well). His father(Marian) was a Vietnam vet, often putting his kids on the ringer due to his refusal to deal with his own issues, as well as being harder on Blue to toughen up and earn the family inheritance (drug empire) Blue has a sister, though their relationship is...strained to say the least.

Red's parents:Her dad(Chili) liked to spend money on useless shit, often putting more stress on her mom(Scarlett). Chili and Scarlett had a lot of siblings, so Red always had to take care of her younger cousins while the adults got drunk(bro bro developed elder sister syndrome AND THEY'RE NOT EVEN SIBLINGS LMAO). Chili was the one to stay at home, so he was slightly closer to Red. Scarlett didn't not like her kid but also didn't really make time for Red. After Red came out as Trans, both her parents treated her differently. Her father would make comments about losing his son, and how he didn't recognize the girl standing before him. Her mom would make passive-aggressive comments about what a "real woman" goes through/experiences and would say snide shit about Red's looks and feminity.

White's Parents:Their mom(Powder) and dad(Platinum) were very abusive, physically and emotionally. Platinum worked long and exhausting hours, often coming home late tired, and bitter. Powder is the one who pushes him to work these hours and yet complains about him not being home. Powder was the one mainly White saw, but she also neglected to take care of their needs. White would have a "fend for yourself" meal every day, and even when their mom cooked, it was too little for the three of them. Their parents' love story is that of Beatrice and Butterscotch from Bojack Horsemen, and their marriage is the same. Also, pushing ~☆gender stereotypes on little White☆~ made them panic badly when they realized their Trans.

Nox parent's:Gem demons(name will change) aren't born sexually, so they often adopt young gems that just came out. Nox's caretaker, Volkan (a garnet), adopted Nox to take their place in the army. They were heavily damaged and become disabled, but unlike other gems who took it in pride, she was ashamed of it. She lashed it out at Nox, who internalized this and other.....lessons Volkan gave. Manipulation and dissociation are all their relationship is for Nox, and for Volkan, it's nothing but a means for climbing higher.

Purdence's parents:Never around, always working and trying to sell their kids.

Rene's parents:They were too young to know who they were before they died.

This art is final installment in this impromptu mini-series.

Some notes:

Scales of animals aren’t accurate, because it’s a fantasy, I allowed myself an artistic license.

Blue butterflies shown in the movie and promo images are indeed one of many Colombian butterfly species, called Menelaus blue morpho (aka mariposa morfo azul). Based on pattern, it’s also female ones. (First image: male; second image: female.)

Here’s a reference to old concept sketches to the movie, in which Camilo could turn into animals and shown to take appearance of capy.

Also, I flubbed at first, identifying a pigeon species (representing Alma – К.O.) as ruddy pigeon (Patagioenas subvinacea), and had to fix it. It’s a very similar and actually native to Colombia short-billed pigeon (Patagioenas nigrirostris), and it’s as close to ‘mourning dove’ as I could get.

"She seems like a very nice girl, Mr. Goth. I enjoyed talking to her", Dina said softly, doing her best to turn on the praise in front of him.

"Oh, no need to be so formal. You can call me Morty.", Mortimer said with a chuckle. "Dina, Cassie has always been very shy and this arrangement was not her idea. She might be defensive at first, but I promise, she could use a friend like you in her life."

"Like me? Why do you say that?". Dina asked, titling her head as she tried to figure out exactly what it was that he was trying to say.

"I just meant that you seem very outgoing, and sure of yourself. Cassie has always been too focused on her music to really try to talk to other people and get to know them. She's also always been a very well....sad child. I fear some of that might be my doing. She gets her creativity from me. But, I just....I wish she could see that there's more to life than being stuck in her room working on writing music. It's her senior year! She should be out with friends enjoying herself before..."

Mortimer's voice suddenly trailed off as he realized what he was saying. It was as though he was about to unravel some big secret to Dina; one that he wasn't supposed to talk about. He chuckled nervously, reaching up to rub at the back of his neck.

"I'm sorry for going on like that. It's just that...you seem very easy to talk to.", Mortimer said, as he stood up off the couch he had been sitting at.

"No apologies necessary, Mr.....Morty.", Dina said, as she stood as well, as she heard her mother calling for her up the stairs. "It was nice listening to you. I'm glad you care about your daughter this much."

Dina couldn't imagine what it was like to have a father that cared this much about her wellbeing. She hadn't spoken to hers in years.

"Tell Cassie that we will be waiting for her at Pin Alley Lounge tonight at 7pm.", she said as she reached out to offer Mortimer her hand to shake, which he accepted. "It was very nice to meet you, Mr. Goth."

"It was nice to meet you as well, Miss Caliente."

"Dina."

Mortimer smirked as his hand lingered in his for a bit longer than he should have. Dina noticed out of the corner of her eye that they were being watched, but she wasn't sure that Mortimer had. She ignored Bella Goth; and she ignored the look of anger on her face as she finally released her hand and began to move away from Mortimer.

"Coming, Mama.", she called finally, as she heard her mother began to try and walk down the stairs to come and find her.

Everything was coming together for Dina and nothing could stop her.
