Booker/Alice AU (Closed with falseshepherdofcolumbia)

Alice sat one of the tables in the bar, accompanied by two gentlemen and another woman. By the looks of things, they were her friends. Each of them were dressed nicely, and  they all seemed a bit out of place, considering the attire of the other patrons. 

They were here to drink, however, and their money was welcomed by the bartender.  

Alice was watchful, however, perhaps a bit more watchful than her friends. She sipped her drink carefully, and kept her purse close, sitting comfortably in the arm of the man who kept it around her shoulders. 

"Its very dull here tonight, don't you agree Isabelle?" She asked the lady on her right. "I would think it would be a bit more busy, for a Friday night."  Alice's fingers toyed with her necklace. "Perhaps one of you men should start something."

The man who had her arm around her scoffed. "I am not one to start a fight, my lady. You know this."  "You're as dull as a dish rag, for certain."  Alice looked on, uninterested. 

"I am studying as a gentleman, my benefac-" "I didn't know being a gentleman meant you needed to be a complete bore." Sitting up, Alice took the purse out of the mans pocket. " Isabelle, I'm close to being quite finished here." She stood, taking a few bills out before setting it back on the table.  "He- Hey! What are you doing, taking my money?"  "Perhaps if you were a more entertaining escort, I wouldn't have to take up compensation." She turned to her lady friend before taking another step. "You should really know me by now, Isabelle. Before you introduce me to someone, you need to take consideration that they don't have the personality of a church mouse." 

Alice made her way up to the bar, taking a seat on one of the stools. She ordered herself another drink, then went on to loosen her hair a smidgen, with her fingers. She didn't seem intimidated by anyone.

Opinion on;

Character in general: Booker DeWitt. I have an obsession with broken fictional men. He's one of my favorite characters ever. I would be lying if I said I wasn't a fangirl. How they play them: I adore your headcanons and answers. Our roleplay stuff, even just ask threads and stuff, are so awesome I end up stalking your blog. Heh. When I first joined here, I thought you were a bit rude to Elizabeth. But you aren't like that anymore at all. One thing about Booker is he often acts like a 16 year old, yes? That's the only thing you don't do often. But it doesn't hurt anything. I adore reading basically everything you post. Heh. The Mun: He is so sweet like caramel candy. I didn't know people could be that nice. I was mistaken.

Overall Opinion: I think he's a great RPer, Booker, and person. I enjoy talking to him all in all. He often brings a smile to my face!

☾: Favorite moment from your Muse's canon, and why.

If were going in the actual storyline and not the game play, it's probably the Death Penalty audio dairy. I mean its really just a small audio found in like the first 2 bits of the game in a really small point in canon- but it really showcases the moment of inversion in Andrew Ryan's delusion to me. It's where he said fuck all of his principles to protect what he thought was his legacy and the fountainhead of his achievements, the objectification of his ideals. Which I always find the most fascinating. 

It also strings together one of Diane's audio diaries and creates the perfect founding ground for Atlas.
