The companions from that one really intense dream I had about Fallout 5 taking place in the middle strip of North America (Texas to North Dakota) Oukonunaka's name pronunciation is most likely wrong but no place on the internet will tell me how to pronounce the damn word clearly.

I hope more people listen to Tim Cain and Chris Avellone when they both have called us out. We need to stop with the stupid gatekeeping and drama. The stuff we see in season 1 is literally just an unfinished product. We need to chill.
Yes we are allowed to not like things but we need to learn to be respectful and learn how to use our heads.
There’s a reason New Vegas fans are disliked so much. I say this as a NV fan.

Bethesda is a weird company. I love them and hate them at the same time.
They have a literal gold-mine with their Fallout and Elder Scrolls IPs, yet they do nothing with it other than creating a mediocre multiplayer game called Fallout 76 and re-releasing Skyrim. It's been 12 years since the last main-line Elder Scrolls game and 8 years since Fallout 4.
Todd Howard once said in an interview that they don't want to be the "Fallout and Elder Scrolls Studio" and I get that they want to do something different....but man. 12 years, Todd! For a game, people would literally sell their children for.
People are screaming in their ears about Elder Scrolls 6. They could do so much with the lore and the world they have established. And the next Fallout game is even further away....
#for the record: I don't hate starfield#bethesda#the elder scrolls#I miss the elder scrolls#rambling#elder scrolls 6#fallout#fallout 5

MAJOR BIG TIME SPOILERS FOR AMAZON’S FALLOUT SHOW AHEAD!!!
So now that we know the management of vault tec still exists out there and clearly has a significant amount of power if there able to wipe shady sands off the map, do you think we could see more of this in future games???
Like sure, vault dwellers may be an endangered species but as shown by vault 101 and others, there’s still a lot of populated vaults out there full of people who are essentially under the control of Vault 31 whether they know it or not. Do you think we could maybe be seen a re-emergent vault tec as a major faction going forward? An army of vault dwellers rising up from below the surface to retake the wasteland for their sinister and secretive leaders could be a great plot for Fallout 5!!!
Is anyone with me on this???

Does anyone else wish that somewhere in the US in the next fallout game that they have the real remnants of the US that battle the Enclave inside their own facility like in one of the bunkers where the government and military went when the bombs dropped like a game where it is in the very beginning where the enclave tries to take control of one of the facilities but it would have to be a absolutely huge bunker though. I mean for like thousands of npcs to make a proper fallout game. Like maybe you start as a general in the us military when you start the game and you have to choose to be in the enclave and the revolution in the facility or you can choose to be on the US military side and all of this shows outside of the bunker too. I think the bunker should be the forefront of the game but there should be some sort of world above where you have to try to retake control of the population or you can even support the rebels above the bunker and eventually storm the bunker with the help of US soldiers who have went awol but it should be this whole really big story where whichever side you join for an example if you end up joining the rebels above ground the US military will ban you from the base since you went awol and you have to go on a big undercover mission to get your wife out of the complex. If you do end up going and supporting the rebels above you should turn into a goul over time throughout the game since you are mostly above ground in the hell after the bombs dropped. If you stay with the US military and government you should be able to go on missions to try and control the population above ground like they say happened after the bombs dropped, and try to kill suspected Chinese spy’s and enclave members. And then when it starts to get intense inside the complex the US controls parts of the complex and the Enclave controls parts and instead of trying to control the population they just try to all out kill everyone to make the above ground world much easier to manage. If you side with the US military I think the Enclave should also take your wife hostage and you have to try to get her back. She can survive but it would be hard to get her back to the US controlled parts. If you choose the US military you should have the cutscenes watching the US military eventually getting overrun by the people above after they were severely weakened by the Enclave coup. You could have some playable parts trying to defend the place but eventually the US military decides to blow up the entire facility because they don’t want any of their information to get out into the world. With everyone inside of the place the US military explodes the nuclear reactor and while there is a lot of carnage down below the entire place blows up with every one inside including you. If you side with the Enclave then I think there should still be the whole thing with the certain parts of the place being controlled by the Enclave before the final push that they have to do. You can go on a mission to the inside of the US controlled part and assassinate notables like the Commander of the military and senators and other people who are not part of the Enclave. When you do this the entire base turns into carnage with fighting everywhere as the Enclave soldiers try to make the final push to take the remnants of the US military and government out. Once they take control you should have the final choice to. Either kill all the civilians above and or instead join them and go rouge from the Enclave and with the sole survivor you can storm the base weakened by the US military and the Enclave decides the Same thing to blow up the facility. There should be some DLCs that have you go across the pacific to mainland China I think to see how they are doing after the war and if they are a threat to the remnants of the US. I feel like it would give a chance to expand the lore a lot in the fallout universe

I had a dream last night and it was so fantastic, I'm gonna fucking share it and eventually draw and expand on it-but this is basis of it.
They finally made Fallout 5.
TLDR: Where the actual First Nation's People went, history threatening to repeat itself, finally the non-romancable npc is that way for a GOOD REASON.
It actually takes place in the middle of America; and it's established when the bombs dropped-it was mostly on major cities near the coastal areas-such as Las Vegas,Boston,Washington Dc, etc. etc.-but with the radius, there is a part of the US that recieved the least amount of radiation.
(A poorly made map by your truely, probably not all accurate where bombs dropped but like. The darker places is all the places I'm pretty sure we've been. Probably wrong but I don't care to look up for accuracy.)
And it's this odd massive strip of land right down the middle. It's not COMPLETELY devoid of radiation-but it's a small part of the whole of USA that received the LEAST amount of it and over time was able to recover successfully, similar to Chernobyl years after the Nuclear Meltdown. Still toxic levels of radiation if you do things like upset the dirt or go in too deep-but otherwise harmless to explore and live in if you're tolerant to those levels of radiation. And in Fallout where RadAway is a helpful common place medication tool-it could potentially be a paradise. The wild life is actually very plentiful and you can honestly spot a lot of normal looking wildlife like normal looking deer and occasionally-a one headed cow. But it's still vast and ominously empty at the same time. Like wandering through thick forests and open plains and prairies with nothing around for miles.
But it was the answer to where the actual Native Americans were in Fallout-they're in this place that everyone in the game referred to as The Holy Strip. A lot of the settlements and cities are a part of the First Nation and one of them I specifically remember was the biggest city called Cherokee City-and it had a collage where for caps or certain items you could move around a point of your S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats if you felt it like it's better used in a different spot-and it was flavored as that's where all the academics flocked to share survivalist knowledge so when people venture out into the Wastes they'd at least have a basic grasp on things. And for the most part, all the cities in The Holy Strip got along-there was a sort of system where each city had an elected person on a council and everything was voted on before major choices were made, etc. etc. all in all the most high functioning areas in Fallout at least in that sense. There's of course tiffs and occasional spats-but other than that-not a whole lot of blood is shed.
And of course there were other factions outside of The Holy Strip who wanted the area for themselves; rather they wanted to affirm governance over the entire area (We know what this is an allegory for, Government trying to run off Native peoples.) And the game gives you the option to either side with the outside Factions-each with their own reason for wanting control of The Holy Strip or siding with The Holy Strip and the people who were there from the start and helped that area STAY as nice as it could be in an irradiated hellscape. And it's not just the theme of 'War never changes' but also the theme of 'History always threatens to repeat itself.' and you have to decide which part of this repeat of history you want to be on.
And there were like....4 Specifical companions I recalled.
One was a woman named Angora and she was a porn actress-and in some of dialogue, it's insinuated she's from New Vegas or that area because in her idle mode she'll tell raunchy jokes-specifically 'Did you hear about the mailman with a bullet in their skull?' Her specific quest is to destroy the holotapes of shoot that had gone wrong and turned into an assault and the footage still was spread out in the public. And the destruction of these holotapes is her reclaiming agency over herself.
Another was a Vietnamese woman named Jun who was a botonist looking for the national seed depository in Colorado that happens to fall within the area of the Holy Strip-she's got the pass key to get in there and she wants to use this time since The Holy Strip has shown such successful progress and good soil ph levels-to start cultivating and distributing seeds to the settlements so more food can be grown. Her idle animation if you leave her alone long enough, she'll start planting saplings and if you come back to the same area she plants in later in the game, you'll see them growing slowly.
There was another one-who was like I feel like....a teen girl? Put her at 18? 19 Maybe. A short girl who kinda reminded me of the girl from Atlantis the Lost Empire. She's a tech mechanic and builds guns, improves them, repairs broken things and she's looking for her younger brother whom she got separated from. I think her name was either Delilah or Tuesday. I don't remember clearly. She was a fan favorite for actually normal reasons cause she had such a teen energy to her to say out of fucking pocket shit all the time and sasses you constantly-but in like a fun way.
The final one I remember is a Ghoul you meet at one of the First Nation Settlements. I don't remember his name-but he is of the First Nation and sort of nomadic lifestyle drifting between cities and settlements, helping people where he can when he can. While the Holy Strip is nice-there still is a level of ghoul discrimination and he just preferred being on his own. But when he becomes your companion you learn that he makes a lot of jokes about the 'Native American Wisdom.' One being
"How did you know I was from a Vault?"
"I heard it on the wind....I heard it from the birds....I felt it in the sunlight on my face.....Also you've got the word VAULT 29 Plastered on the back of your stupid blue jumpsuit."
He also liked Romance paperbacks. You meet him during an escort quest he's doing, helping a pregnant woman get to one of the vaults (that apparently she was born at? And she wanted her kid to be born there too.)
And there was new romancable companion functions-where you could gift them items they liked (like Romance books for the ghoul, Seeds for the Botonist, etc.) that would not only boost their affection for you, but give you a temp boost during a fight. ( the 18 year old is the non-romancable option in the game. For once a Non Romancable NPC that makes SENSE.)
And for the most part it was well received? There was still people who bitched a lot about it, complaining they 'needed like 50 million mods to make it acceptable' and people complaining about the ghoul being 'such a sterotype' where most of what he did was ironic and prodding fun at the trope similar to Raul wearing the spirit halloween costume as a joke for his sister. Then there were the freaks who were mad they couldn't romance the 18 year old.
But pobody's nerfect ya know. All in all I now have a game I cannot play.

Since the creators of the Fallout Tv show stated they reset the West Coast “because it didn’t fit with our setting.” It makes me wonder how Bethesda is going to make California look in Fallout 5?
IF the rumors and hints (in Fallout 4) are anything to tell us we’ll be getting another West Coast game. This time made by Bethesda.
Like California spent 100+ years rebuilding after the Great War. Now it’s been reset. So I expect shantytowns and NONE of the factions we know from Fallout 1, 2, or NV to be in it.
This isn’t hate at the show this is just speculation based on how the showrunners didn’t like the rebuilt aesthetic so they had it nuked. Literally.

i hope in fallout 5, they have a central main antagonist again like the master along with the faction stuff i think itd be cool if among multiple groups fightin it out with each other there was one evil dude in the middle of it all just freakin it. kinda like kellogg was in 4, or benny in nv, but they have to be the final antagonist and not tied to any one faction. do you understand the vision?

Hey Bethesda i need something from ya.
BRING BACK SKILLS IN FALLOUT 5
I cannot stand the fo4 or 76 system, like don't get me wrong being able to improve all your specials is nice, and the new perks go hard but ffs i want the actual skills back. Let me see what percent more damage I'm doing with guns via the gun skill rather than some ambiguous bullshit of "automatic weapons rely on agility" THAT'S NOT HELPFUL
Thank you for coming to my TED Toddtalk
