1st, 2nd, 6th, + 8th house synastry notes 🖤

Ive been binge watching bones and its so interesting how booth and brennan embody 1h, 2nd, 6h, and 8h synastry. If youve never watched the show you can still get insight I just wanted to describe this synastry through their behaviors.

1st house synastry:

Brennan and Booth give off major 1h synastry, its especially obvious with how they met. They are immediately attracted to each other and brennan asks booth if they are no longer working together then does that mean that they can have sex LMAOOO. I def see this as mars in the 1st house synastry. I think Brennan is the mars person and Booth is the house person because she is attracted (mars) a lot to his physique (1h) and constantly comments on how his facial structure and masculinity is appealing to her. And he def gives off the house person in this dynamic because he's always trying to impress her, whether hes dressing to impress on in the way he presents himself with his demeanor like defending her, shielding her and making jokes to make her laugh. With 1h synastry it is natural to a certain extent, like the planet person or house person isnt "acting" but their actions def become applied based on the planet (with mars it would be aggression, drive, ambition from both people being amplifed). But with other planets like venus for example, it would be more about aethetic, beauty, interests, being the focus. You know what else gives this synastry away? How someone commented that they're acting "like two teenagers at prom. " at their big grown age lol. This synastry will def have you rolling your eyes, smirking, playfully pushing each other, in each others personal space AT ALL TIMES. like damn ur talking to me about the weather rn two inches away from my MOUTHHHH... lets just kiss.

2nd house synastry:

they literally cannot stop fucking touching each other omg. This synastry reminds me of a steady hand just reaching out and making sure you dont fall. its that urge to show and say I'm here, I won't let you down, and if you fall I will catch you. Its the comforting hugs between them, reaching out to help each other get back up. This reminds in the moments Brennan is feeling sad or anxious and he reaches out and grabs her hand or gently grabs her chin to get her to look at him. Their dynamic reminds me of sun in the 2nd house synastry. When someone’s Sun is in your 2nd house, being around them can make you feel safe and steady. Their touch feels warm, confident, and reassuring. They show affection in a reliable, down-to-earth way, making you feel secure and valued through physical closeness. In this case I think Booth is the sun person and Brennan is the house person. In one episode she said "I find it interesting that im only afraid of snakes when booth is around to jump on" LMAOO. like babygirl sees booth and instantly knows she is physically and emotionally safe. Who he is (sun) grounds her. Beyond the physical, they also transformed each others values. They are seen as total opposites and throughout the show Brennan talks about how Booth has taught her the value of eye contact and using your heart to make your decisions and to not rely always on logic and then booth talks about how he has taught her the opposite. they balance each other. ONE LAST THING about 2h synastry I want to mention is the gift giving. Usually posts might be about giving each other luxury gifts which can be true but its also about the details. they give each other gifts that are meaningful and not always through material but with their words or favors or just unique things that can have u be like wow no one else has done this for me before (like when booth shows up with a christmas tree when brennan couldnt have one set up when she spent her christmas with her dad and brother for the first time as an adult).

6th house synastry:

This one is a little more obvious. They met through work (as an FBI agent, Booth needed Brennan’s expertise with bones and anthropology to catch a killer), and then they actually became partners. I def see theirs as pluto in the 6h synastry because booth (pluto person) completely transforms brennans daily routine (6h) and he acts a catalyst (pluto) for the way she decides how she truly wants her life to look day to day (6h). Their relationship is primarily all about their routine, service, and work (6h) together to solve murders (pluto). They thrive and come alive with their routines, and their partnership becomes top priority. If you have 6th house synastry, that doesn’t mean the person is going to be your coworker, but it does mean you'll be deeply involved in each other's daily lives and routines. Brennan and Booth would cook for each other, motivate each other to improve their skills—whether that’s becoming stronger, smarter, or simply aiming higher in their respective careers. Their bond is built on support in everyday life, from the little things like making meals for each other to the big things like pushing each other to grow and succeed in their work.In their case, work was the foundation of their relationship, but over time, their routines became more personal, blending their professional lives with emotional connection. This is what 6h synastry is all about!! building something meaningful with someone through shared routines and relying on each other. As someone with a virgo venus I find 6h synastry lovely. From my other post with 6h synastry "very underrated synastry considering the physical attraction, never getting bored of each other, consistent acts of service, learning each others love language, “you got me flowers?” energy, “do you want to run errands with me” energy, can easily become a power couple, knowing the little cute and mundane things about each other, “oh they don’t like that flavor” energy"

8th house synastry:

They have 8h synastry for many reasons. The first I think of is how she became a multi-millionaire from her books loosely based on their relationship (the characters kathy + agent andy). Her finances (8h) completely are altered by their relationship! When you have 8h synastry with someone they can def influence your wallet. Another very obvious one is the trauma they share and go through (literally saving each other lives all the time after crazy ass shit happening to them). Because of these traumatic events, they become connected in a way that goes beyond normal interactions (real 8h shit). They share a level of trust and passion that is unique to them.This doesnt mean when you have 8h synastry your life doesnt mean you're going to be dodging bullets or facing death everyday but it does mean u might notice a deeper intensity, as if the stakes in the relationship feel higher. ok ANOTHERRR, is the underlying sexual intensity, like the constant eye contact, the protectiveness of each other, the jealousy they try to hide or supress when they are both seeing other people and MOST IMPORTANTLY THESE MFSS always come back to each other!! I can def see venus in the 8h synastry with them its the "youll never find another woman like me" energy. When booth is with hannah (he gets into a serious relationship with her try to forget about brennan) and he has to repeat over and over and over about how much he is in love with her almost like hes trying to convince himself and everyone else. And he does love her but its not like brennan... not even close. He doesnt even have to say he loves brennan. Its obvious in the way he will fight for her, is willing to suffer to just be with her as friends/coworkers knowing he desires more, how they tell each other about their childhood traumas, how they heal each others inner child, how they face their fears together. And ultimately also they do end up getting married and having children and combining their resources & assets (all 8h topics).

recently i've noticed there's been an uptick in people interpreting the aesthetics of death note as christian, and i feel this is at least in part due to the declining popularity of gothic lolita fashion, which is an extremely significant influence on death note's art.

the presence of a religious motif does not represent an invocation of religion. for many people there just isn't any connection between a cross and religion; the invocation is more of decadence, a specific view of the west, and the grotesque. this is especially true in a country such japan where christianity is a minority religion (composing less than 1.5% of the population) but it's also true elsewhere, and it was especially true in the early 2000s, where gothic lolita and fashion styles influenced by it (including visual kei and japanese punk fashion) were extremely prevalent.

from the lolita fashion wiki, we get this description of gothic lolita fashion: "Common motifs in Gothic Lolita often include crosses or religious themes, bats, skulls, coffins, chandeliers, deep red roses, and castles." and then if you look at pictures of gothic lolita outfits or products, you can see that religious motifs repeatedly occur to add interest:

this is really obviously not intended to invoke christianity. it's aesthetic. it invokes the grotesque. in the first photo particularly, you can see that the cross is placed alongside other death motifs -- gravestones and bones. or you can look at this image, in which a lolita is shown surrounded by extremely explicitly religious items (crucifixes and a bible, in addition to the other aesthetic crosses.) again, it's fairly obvious that the intention here is not to be devout but rather to give this sense of the grotesque.

the most obvious example of a character who wears actual gothic lolita fashion is misa amane, but looking at the 'religious' aesthetics more broadly you can see they fall pretty clearly in line with this sense of decadence and the grotesque. again, christian imagery is connected directly to death motifs.

so yes, they're absolutely christian items, but the actual effect of them is not religious. there is no attempt to invoke christian themes but rather to use christian items to give a sense of the morbid. vitally, this isn't even something ohba and obata made up for death note -- it's a common fashion style that they're drawing upon. the whole thing is several layers of distance away from any religious implications.

it's honestly really hard to understate how common these aethetics were in the early 2ks -- you could walk into claire's and find crosses all over the place. they're secular. people wore them because they looked cool. it just does not make sense to look at these images and automatically assume they're trying to say anything about christianity.

i don't think it's untrue to say that there are some religious themes in death note -- this is kind of a complicated question that i won't get into here -- but the assumption that they must specifically be christian religious themes just because death note is using christian motifs is taking the visual language of death note entirely out of context.

My Stance on AI Art

This year I've noticed a huge influx of AI artwork and fake images posted for fall, winter, and christmas aethetics. I find it incredibly disappointing to see these as the true beauty of these seasons are the real, human and earth aspects. The AI takes the humanness and real world qualities out of the photo.

Because of this, if I see a photo that seems to be AI, I will leave a comment on that post. If I see a creator continuously posting AI artwork I will block them. AI art is not welcome on my blog or dash. Everyone is entitled to post what they want, but this is my stance.

Chapter 1 : the breeze of your destined fate

The busy morning streets of Snezhnaya buzz in the background. You, the owner of a small café in Snezhnaya, prepare pastries in the early morning when the atmosphere just seems so peaceful, like a soft breeze.

 

The soft sound of your café's wind chimes snapped you out of your thoughts as you glanced at the door.

 

"Ms. (Name), good morning!" A blond teenage boy waved at you as he entered the café with his twin sister.

 

"Aether! Lumine! Good morning, you two," you happily greet back as you smile at the twins.

 

Aether and Lumine, the two siblings that always visit your mini café on weekends, The two happened to come across your cafe when their little sister, Paimon, ran into it when she smelled something sweet. Their little sister always behaves around you, and you often spoil her with sweets that you bake.

 

"You didn't bring Paimon with you this time?" You ask calmly as they hang their winter coats on the coat rack near the door.

 

"Yeah, she got sick playing with the snow yesterday.

" I blame Aether though; he accidentally threw a snowball at her face." Lumine smiled teasingly at her twin brother, who made an unamused face at her.

 

"Says the one who threw Paimon intentionally on the pile of snow," Aether sassily snarks back at his twin.

 

"I see, Dain is the most responsible older sibling," you tease the twins with a smile.

 

The twins look at you in sync, a playful, betrayed expression on their faces. Lumine laughed as she sat on the stool near the counter with Aether sitting beside her.

 

"Eh, I can't argue with that." Aethet shrugs his shoulders with a playful smile as Lumine agrees.

 

"Are you ordering the usual?" You ask.

 

You walk toward the sink to wash your hands. You carefully listen to their response as you wipe your hand on the clean towel.

 

"Well?" You turn your head towards the two.

 

"I'll get my usual mocha and strawberry cheesecake, please," Aether said after awhile, as you see him message someone on his phone.

 

"And I'll get my latte with the blueberry muffin," Lumine adds with a smile.

 

You nodded and smiled at the twins before preparing their order. Doing your profession with quick and careful movements You prepared the twins order with a smile gracing your lips.

 

Placing the orders on the counter with careful movements, you smiled at the twins.

 

"Thank you," Lumine and Aether unsurprisingly said in sync.

 

Taking their individual orders, Aether checked his phone again. His eyes light up slightly as he turns to you.

 

"Can we get a takeout added, Ms. (Name). One slice of strawberry shortcake and two slices of blueberry cheesecake?" Aether states as he glances briefly back to his phone, then back at you.

 

"Let me guess, Paimon and Dain?" You ask with an amused smile as you start preparing the takeout box for their order.

 

Aether nodded as he turned off his phone before placing it on the counter. He took a sip of his drink as he glanced outside, just watching the snowflakes gently fall before his gaze went back to his phone.

 

"I swear Paimon turns into an angel when Ms. (Name)'s pastries and desserts get involved in the mix," Lumine blurts out with a tone of laughter and amusement in her voice.

 

Aether nods in agreement as you shake your head in amusement.

 

After awhile, both of the twins finished their food. Aether got his wallet out and paid for their orders. Lumine let out a small sound of protest.

 

"Wait! I said I'd be one of the ones to pay this time." Lumine looks at her twin brother as she crosses her arms over her chest.

 

"Pay for lunch later," Aether said with a smile as he pocked his wallet.

 

Putting on their winter coats again, Aether and Lumine waved goodbye as they exited the café with the takeout box in Aether's left hand.

"Have a nice day, maam." You smiled and waved as the middle-aged woman left with her takeout. You calmly look at the clock and notice it's about 10:43 a.m. now.

 

You grab a cloth and wipe the countertop when a customer leaves after finishing their food.

Your gaze snapped back to the door as the wind chimes got your attention.

 

A familiar face greets you.

 

"Oh, good morning, Childe," you greeted and waved at the man.

 

"Good morning to you too! (Name). The usual please." Childe greeted you back as he read the available pastries on the menu.

 

You waited patiently for him to pick something from the menu as you prepared a coffee takeout for him.

 

Childe usually comes by in the afternoon, so it's kind of odd to see him in the café at this time of day.

 

"Picking a pastry or dessert to surprise Teucer with?" You calmly ask as you finish packing up the coffee.

 

"Close, but not that close," Childe responds as his eyes scan the menu before speaking again.

 

"It's for a colleague of mine that I accidentally pissed off," Childe adds with a chuckle and a sheepish tone in his voice.

 

'Pissed off...? ' You think to yourself as you listen for his order.

 

"But now that I'm here, I might as well buy dessert for Teucer." Childe shrugged his shoulders before his eyes landed on a specific pastry.

 

"I will have a takeout of one slice of strawberry shortcake and three chocolate muffins," Childe continues as he now looks at you directly.

 

"Alright" 

 

You nodded and went to take out the pastries to pack them into the takeout box.

 

"Thank you (Name)," Childe thanks you as he pays. With the takeout boxes in his hands, he said goodbye and left.

 

A while later, when you glanced back at the clock, you noticed it was about 7:18 p.m. now. You wipe the tables and counters, preparing for closing time.

 

"This should be good," you mutter to yourself, grabbing your phone to play your playlist on Spotify.

 

Walking over to the back to grab the mop, you hum and sing along to the songs as you clean the floor. After cleaning, you double-checked everything as you put your black apron on the hook. You locked the café as you stood outside in the cold Snezhnayan winter.

 

You gazed at the night sky and smiled, enjoying how the breeze made your hair sway a little.

 

"How beautiful" you mumble to yourself as you walk to your car.

 

Entering your car, you went home peacefully and quietly. The city lights of Snezhnaya illuminate your car window.

"Hey, Pantalone!" Childe sheepishly entered The regrator's office carrying the tidy and cute takeout box containing the strawberry shortcake.

 

"Tartaglia"

 

Pantalone acknowledged the boy's presence, however, not looking up from his paperwork. Irritation can still be faintly heard in the tone of the raven-haired man.

 

The ginger-haired male sheepishly chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. The funds he spent on his mission in Liyue really made the banker irritated at him, considering the large sum of money he spent for unknown reasons.

 

"Oh, c'mon, you can't still be annoyed about that," Childe chuckles as he places the takeout box on Pantalone's desk.

 

With a faint, irritated sigh, Pantalone rubbed his temples and leaned back more on his expensive leather chair, made with the finest leather and materials. One way or another, the banker's eyes seemed to close more in irritation.

 

"What is that?" Pantalone calmly asked after awhile when he gazed at the takeout box with his eyes still closed. Childe has long since disregarded the question of how the hell Pantalone can see with eyes closed.

 

"Consider the dessert a small apology gift," Childe states as he places his hands on his hips.

 

The ravanette looks at the ginger with an unamused expression on his face.

 

"Is this from the small café you always ramble out to Pulcinella?" The banker calmly asked the other male.

 

Pantalone opens his eyes, revealing sharp and piercing golden-yellow eyes. Childe chuckles as he nods, not sorry about how he spent the funds but not wanting to be the output of the banker's anger.

 

On cue, a phone call rang from the ginger-haired male's phone. Thanking God for whatever brought him mercy, he excused himself as he took a phone call outside.

 

Pantalone stared deadpan at the cute takeout box. A small sigh can be heard from the man as he leans forward to grab the takeout box.

 

"What's so special about that mini café? Does he have a crush on the barista?" Pantalone mutters to himself as he opens the cute box. He raised an eyebrow as he was greeted with a cutely decorated slice of strawberry shortcake.

 

"How adorable"

 

The banker mutters quietly to himself as he holds the fork provided inside the box. He decided to taste the dessert to see what's so special about it that their 11th always rambles it to the 5th.

 

A satisfied hum sounded from his mouth as he tasted it. He has already eaten expensive and more decorative desserts out there in the world, including this strawberry shortcake. However, this dessert just sits right with him.

 

"I see," Pantalone states to no one in particular in the room.

 

"So that's what's special about this café," Pantalone smirks slightly to himself as he leans back on the chair.

 

After a brief glance towards the dessert, Pantalone raised an eyebrow, and his smirk grew slightly. He let out a satisfied sigh.

 

"It seems a visit to that café is needed," Pantalone smirks as his golden-yellow eyes twinkle slightly at his office light.

 

"Oh, how you got me curious now," Pantalone said to himself as he briefly glanced back at the dessert before taking another bite.

 

"Deliciously sweet things like care and love are always added to the mixture."
