Story idea: two non-emotional sapient robots pretend to be in love with each other to convince their human inventors that they are truly sapient and be allowed to decide things for themselves. 

The ruse is kept up for several weeks before it’s figured out that both of the robots are mechanically incapable of experiencing romantic attraction and have been lying this entire time. The humans actually decide that this actually makes a stronger case for human-like sapience than “love” alone would. Most animals can probably experience an emotional state comparable to love; but this stunt they pulled clearly shows they have self-serving interests, are willing to lie for personal gain, can trust each other to keep up the lie, can predict how others will respond to incomplete or false information, and perform long-term planning.

My Review I am head over heels in love with Abel. I loved how they are all about making sure her dad knows everyone is happy and settled. Plus Abel & Jenny are SPICY 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️! Oh my goodness this Abel is a whole other level, and I LOVED it. I have enjoyed these books so much. Abel is my favorite though. He had so many things he thought he couldn’t get passed in order to be happy, but Jenny was so sure of him. I highly recommend this set of Harbour Village books.

I’ve been pining for Abel Miller since we were teenagers. He’s sexy as hell, and has always played a starring role in all my fantasies. Too bad he only sees me as his best friend’s little sister.

i know it will never happen but i so desperately desire an origins-type playable backstory thing in all games but especially veilguard. i feel like it added so much depth to origins and made you feel instantly connected to your character in a way that gets lost in games like inquisition where you fill in the blanks as you go except for the bare basics. like, i do enjoy the freedom to willy nilly decide where a character was before the events of the story from a creative perspective, but the playable origins were just so good! especially when you go back to where your warden is from and can engage differently with the arcs there
