It's awkward.

You look around for a moment, trying not to feel like a loser who got ditched.

There are very few seatings available and none of them were occupied currently. You felt like even bigger of a loser because you'd be the only girl just sitting there. Nor do you want men to take it as a hint to approach you. You're rethinking coming at all.

You blow air out of your mouth as a self-soothing gesture, deciding to go grab another drink.

Suddenly remembering that you had other friends at this party, you decide to text them asking if they were around. You loosely recollect reading about their bar hopping plan on the group chat, so you're not sure. You'd have joined in if you had Jungkook to tag along. He's fun to cling to when you're drunk.

Sometimes you fake being so piss drunk that you can't move by yourself just so Jungkook would hold you up or lift you in his arms.

Thinking about this is really ruining your mood though. Because tonight, that other chick is going to enjoy his company while you act like a cunt towards your date because you can't stand up for yourself.

As you make your way back to the table, you spot Jungkook not too far from it.

Boy, is he just everywhere tonight or what.

You freeze for a moment, unsure if you should approach Jungkook, or if you’d rather just stay out of his way. But before you can make up your mind, he’s already walking to you.

“Hey,” he says, lowly, as he stops a few inches beside you.

You give him a tight smile, trying to keep your tone neutral, “Hi.”

He looks around, almost as if he’s unsure of what to say next. “Mr. Tooth Fairy had to leave?”

You hum, glancing toward the door where Hoseok disappeared. “Yeah, something came up.”

Jungkook nods, his eyes flicking back to you, “I see.”

An awkward silence stretched between the two of you like a thin, fragile thread.

Finally, Jungkook clears his throat, breaking the tension, “Listen... about earlier-”

You hold up a hand, cutting him off, “Yeah, I'm sorry, I did not mean to do that. It was uncalled for."

This was too awkward. You don't know how to act around him. All you want to do it grab his head and smush your lips together.

"No, you're fine. I meant to text you back, you know?"

Right.

"Yeah, well, either way, I get the message loud and clear," you reply simply, staring him down.

"I wasn't sending any messages, _____."

"Well, yeah!"

"_____..."

"Can we not do this? I told you I hear you loud and clear. Let's move on." You were agitated.

Jungkook knows you've misunderstood his silence but he doesn't want to piss you off anymore today.

He sighs softly, tilting his head as if to study you. “Hoseok, huh?”

“Yeah,” you say, almost defensively. “He’s nice.”

“Nice,” Jungkook echoes, the corner of his mouth twitching slightly, though you can’t tell if it’s amusement or something else entirely. “That’s good. You deserve... nice.”

The way he says it makes your stomach twist. You ball your hands into a fist. You wish he'd stop rubbing it in.

“Is that supposed to mean something?” you ask, sharper than you intend.

Jungkook raises his eyebrows, his expression unreadable, “No. Just a statement.”

You let out a breath through your nose, already feeling the hair on your nape stand, “You know, if you’re trying to say something, you could just say it instead of whatever... this is.” You wave a finger at him.

Jungkook’s jaw ticks slightly, and for a moment, you think he’s going to brush you off. Instead, he takes a step closer, “Fine. I don’t like him.”

Your eyes snap to his. “Excuse me?”

“I don’t like him,” Jungkook repeats, slower this time.

"Yes, you do? He's YOUR friend." You're stunned.

"Yeah, well, I don't like him around you." He'd almost seem childish if it weren't for the way he was looking at you. Like a... predator? Not in a creepy way because this was very invited.

Your brain scrambles to process his words but all you can focus on is how it makes you feel. A shiver runs down your spine.

“Jungkook,” you say finally, forcing your voice to stay calm, “you don’t get to have an opinion about that.”

He opens his mouth like he’s about to argue, but you cut him off before he can speak--- “You’re the one who wants this,” you speak a bit quieter, "-but I..." You abruptly stop yourself, biting the inside of your cheek.

"You what?"

You hesitate, but there’s no point in holding back now. “I didn’t want this,” you admit. You could hear your heart pounding. “And I didn’t have a choice, did I? Because if I said no, you would’ve walked away. And I didn’t want that either.”

Jungkook stares at you, his jaw tight and brows furrowed, like he’s holding himself back from saying something he’ll regret.

Jungkook looked genuinely confused, “That’s not fair. You can't put this on me."

You let out a bitter laugh, shaking your head. "I know. I'm not blaming you."

There's another moment of silence.

"I didn’t want to hurt you,” he says finally, his voice was more gentle now, leaning towards apologetic.

You nod.

“Then maybe we shouldn’t have started this,” you could barely get the words out.

“I didn’t think it would get this complicated,” Jungkook admits, almost like he’s talking to himself.

You almost want to ask to be exclusive. Just the two of you. You really needed to retire that kind of wishful thinking.

Jungkook looks away and chugs his drink in a go. You hadn't noticed he even had one.

He avoids looking at you, choosing to observe random partygoers instead. You want to know what he's thinking.

You glance at his hand tucked into his pocket, briefly contemplating grabbing it.

Just when you slyly begin to inch your fingers closer to his, a third hand blocks you. It links itself with Jungkook's. You can only stupidly stare at their arms joined together, while yours hangs awkwardly mid-way.

Floor open. Swallow. Into the ground. Anytime now would be great.

"Jungkook, I'm ready to go. Take me home?" The blonde from earlier begins massaging his shoulder while you stare at the couple, dumbfounded.

Jungkook looked just as confused as you did, "Now?"

She leans in closer to whisper something into his ear, at the same time, allowing her hand to freely rub his chest, letting out a sensual giggle.

It's so obvious what she's trying to do here. Putting on a show just for you. She must see you as threat.

Jungkook briefly pulls away and glances back at the blonde, "Fine. Wait for me by the door?"

Her smile drops a little but she recovers with an exaggerated pout, "I don't know if I can be left unaccompanied any longer. Like five guys have tried to talk to me already. But I told them I'm here with you." She pokes his cheek.

That wasn't a very subtle jab at you and Hoseok.

As much as you want to push her off of Jungkook, you can admit she's not wrong. He's here with her. And the man you came with has left (momentarily or not, he still left the party.)

You don't know what you're doing standing there. There's no need for you to watch them, especially when Jungkook hasn't said a word to you in over five minutes.

Even though your conversation is long from over, it was apparent that nothing was happening today. It makes the most sense for you to walk away from them before you start crying.

Feigning disinterest, you pull your phone up and shoot Hoseok a quick text explaining your absence.

The party spirit has officially been sucked out of you by Jungkook through a giant straw jammed into your skull.

Jungkook's still speaking to his date but you've forcefully tuned them out, thinking about how you're going to take a long hot shower and change into freshly laundered clothes and hop into your comfy bed.

It's only when you abruptly walk away that you hear him call out to you. He sounded almost frantic.

"Is Hoseok back?"

You pause at that, "No, I'm heading back home as well."

"We'll walk you." Jungkook offers. It was more of a statement though.

You consider it just because of how pissed off his date looked. Her smile has been wiped off and she glared at you, daring you to accept Jungkook's offer.

Well, you guess you're both going to be having a bad night now.

"You know what? I'd like that."

Wolfgang's design is almost identical to Canon Shifty's first seen shift in the show - the man from the High Flyin' Beans logo. The differences are the outfit, and he makes it younger to match his age (30). His hair is black instead of gray.

They named themself when they were young at the insistence of the fire department as they were raising them.

—They are just as bad at naming things as Ford.

—One of the firefighters happened to be a German Literature Enthusiast with their favourite author being Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.

—Before they named themself, the fire department just called them "(Baby) Falls"

—Their human middle name is “Von” because they misunderstood that von/van just means of/from.

As Wolfgang, his clothing is real, seperate from his human shift. He'll hide his clothes somewhere for later when he takes other forms.

Shifty’s species seems to bear similarities to beetles, caterpillars, and butterflies / moths. 

—As a larvae, they had to sneak out at night to gorge themself on wild plants because their nutritional needs weren’t being met with human formula or food.

—They have an imaginal disc system which is what allows them to freely shapeshift

—Larvae of their species also eat toxic plants, which they cannot do as an adult without shufting their body chemistry and digestive systen. This is so their larvae are too toxic to be picked off by predators ir by adults if the species. 

—The type of plants they eat as larvae heavily influence their adult colouring.*

*Compared to their canon counterpart, Shifty’s true form is mainly greenish-white, and their eyes / appendage tips are purple. This is because as a larvae their favourite plant to eat was Parish’s Nightshade.

They breathe through their skin, which is how they can breathe even when they shapeshift into objects that lack breathing anatomy. When they shapeshift into other creatures their shift would breathe the same way as an original creatyre of that species would, with their skin breathing being a backup.

Shifty does not drink alcohol or use other recreational substances because they do not want to risk losing control of their form.

Their cat persona, Smoky, is a Hemingway Cat (polydactyl), as a sort of nod to “The Author”. The design is also based off of "Bruno, the 'extra' cat" the only difference being that Smoky is a female cat and is missing one eye.

Regardless of their disguise, dogs are terrified of Shifty.

Shifty can change their proportions and density, but not their actual weight, when shifting. Regardless of what form they are taking, they are always around 300 lbs like their true form.

Tad thinks their son Samuel was born through an out-of-state surrogate. He was not. He was actually an egg that Shifty did not think was possible before.

SO. Constance is a wicked witch who's feared by the townsfolk. The king says that she has stolen his daughter and taken her to her tower in the woods, so the king orders Sebek to kill her and bring the princess home.

Once Sebek makes it to Constance's tower, he finds out that she's just like any other villager in his town; taking care of her tiny farm, feeding her animals, and helping out the people (or in her case, fairies) around her. On top of that, Sebek finds out that the princess is perfectly fine and lives with Constance after she fled from the king due to him not approving of her lover.

Sebek learns from the princess that Constance is misunderstood and antagonized by the kingdom. They see an evil witch, but Constance is just a sorcerer who was outcast due to being the only magic-user in the kingdom.

Sebek is still slightly suspicious in the princesses words, but he agrees to let her stay with Constance. Then suddenly, Constance finds Sebek and yells at him for breaking into her home. Sebek tries to leave, but Constance doesn't want to let him off the hook so easily. She decides to make a deal with him.

Sebek will stay in her tower for three months as compensation for breaking in. During that time, Sebek will fix the damages to her home and tend to her garden and such. In return, Constance will turn herself in to the king (after the three months) and face her punishment.

During the three months, Sebek learns more and more about Constance, and he ends up falling in love.

who is called the "school prince", at least in the Japanese anime, so I started thinking about the Pokemon School, and I started thinking about a school AU of Super 4.

Now, THE AU.

Fairies

My version revolves around the gangs idea, instead of classes, in a modern-90's/2000's stereotypical groups.

The fairies would be this girls gang of so called witches, but not the cool witches but the toxic female group who thinks of themselves as better and more special than the rest, and think of being outcasts as misunderstood with a hidden talent.

They do the kind of spells of "take a bath at 00am with rosemary and a photo of the girlfriend of the guy you have a crush on to make them break up", and even if the rest of the school thinks they are weird or that their stuff is nonsense, some or other way their spells work (the world is technically non-magical), more out of casualty, but the successful spells have been being coincidences too many times to be "coincidences".

While the fairies are aesthetic witches with a very disturbing way to perceive relationships and the value of people, the witches of the show (Babacara and peers) are the witches who are more emo and careless about their looks, but actually go to the really old none fashion books to read about historical accurate magic and judge the fairy-witches from the dark corners of the school.

What about Twinkle? People would ask.

In this AU Twinkle was also part of this girls gang, to awkward and weird not to be, although she didn't choose it either, the rest of the school thought she was part of them for being so... "outcastable".

Actually, Twinkle had been trying to fit with the witches-fairies, but she just couldn't. Their friendship ended when they were making a beauty spell for their leader, the upperclasswoman Queenie (the Queen Fairy), but Twinkle instead of buying pink candles she took green candles and... The next day the Queen had the whole the school laughing at her chronical acne problem. She expelled Twinkle from the group, and even tried to get revenge on her, but the fairy-witch's positive energies are so strong that they repel any curse.

Technopolians

As far as all of us can agree that they would be scientist students, I think they would be more precisely the ICT (Information and Communications Technology) geeks. They monopolize the computer lab and the ICT workshop after school, where they programme or build robots and codes (I don't know about computing). They are the ones who look down on witches the most, although they do not have the best reputation either. Their leader/club representative/president, Doctor X (a nickname he insisted on using before his real name) is a egocentric maniac. He is the one who pushes to the floor Gene the most.

Gene is, no wonder, a genius student. Technopolians actually do not dislike him, only Doctor X, but that doesn't mean they admire him either.

Gene is the best at computing, programming, coding... But he also studies natural sciences, and not precisely or only to unravel the genetic code. He is interested in other living beings, how they live and how they think, and he wants to go out there to study them, too bad the world is "too dirty and full of retrograde people" for the technopolians taste.

The first time Gene went out was with his AI friend, Lenny. Lenny is not a normal machine, is programmed to understand and adapt to the different environments, natural or social and cultural. But since Gene made human friends, he hasn't used or talked to Lenny as much as before. Anyway, that doesn't mean Lenny is not his friend, even if it is a programmed machine Gene will keep its memory chip safe forever.

Gene use to argue with Twinkle due to the fairy witch way to see the world.

Gene: "Energies? Horoscope? Tarot? Nonsense. How can a color of a candle unleash a biological reaction in the dermis?"

Twinkle: "Oh Gene, sometimes you are so dummy. Everyone knows the red candles are used for love, pinks for beauty and white for pureness. It's magical."

Pirates

If it wasn't noticeable in the introduction, I love Alola, so think about the pirates a bit like a Team Skull if you know them.

The pirates are a group of stray or heavily deprived of care and attention from their tutors young men. They are a bit all ages, from children with awful parents to guys in their twenties whose families disown them. Most of them are not schooled, or just elementary school, or had been working from a young age. They live on the outskirts of the city, near the port, where they can have easy jobs or steal from the cargo ships.

Sharkbeard is not as good with his crewmates as Guzma is with his messy Team Skull, but he is still that guy in his thirties, too old to be part of a youngsters gang, but the only one who actually cares about them instead of their own families. Rubens was a close member of Sharkbeard, helping with robberies, burglary and stealing stuff (Sharkbeard was never fond with "follow society rules like work". If society had pushed him aside, he won't play their legal game either), but one day he found a baby abandoned next to the beach. The steps had been erased by the sea, or maybe that child came from the ocean. Whatever it was, the young man decided to take care of the child, not wanting for her the same he had passed as a homeless child.

Ruby never went to elementary school, Rubens taught her everything. How to defend herself, reading, writing (as far as he could with his knowledge), basic math... But little Ruby wanted more. Rubens never wanted her to do something illegal, but she was amazed by the skills, the adventure and action of the rest of the gang. Unluckily for her, she faced the same words her canon version did: "A little girl an expert fighter and burglar artist? Don't make me laugh!". She tried to impress the gang, be more than they would never be. She began her career as a master of theft, but when Rubens found out that she was grounded forever. He had told her that a woman is not as strong as a man, but she proved them wrong, she is fast, swift and skillful. She could have a bright future, but not stealing. Ruby's father offered her other way to be more than those airheads, study. To afford the tuition, books and school supplies (plus decent clothes and shampoo) father and daughter worked on a near tavern. Ruby managed to enter the high school a year later than the rest, but she is there, and Rubens has been working and moving up the ranks at the tavern since then.

Ruby can be seen at the Principal Kendrick's office often, but he just talks calmly to her and lets her go. Half of the time the problems related to Ruby are Sharkbeard and his gang attempts to make her drop school, and clearly she and her friends are way more skillful than the chaotic pirates.

Knights

They are the drama club and you cannot change my mind. No fencing club, not school council, not school presidents, they are a bunch of overdramatic teens! Overdramatic but pretty versatile. As Sir Gareth says "Be an actor is to understand the multiplicity of human nature. An actor cannot be good only singing and lack of movement, or be strong without being graceful. Fight, recite, think, improvise, organize, guide... All of them are necessary to be a good actor". He is the main upperclasswoman, along with Sir Ulf and Sir Archibald. Don't ask them why they use "Sir" for everybody or they will use their worst weapon, talking about the whole meaning of being an actor for three hours straight.

Alex and Leonora are the children of the Principal of the school. Sir Kendrick was an important member of a nationally famous theatre company, even writing some of their performances, but after losing his special half at acting and living, he dropped that. By that time the siblings were very young. A few years later, Kendrick decided that he couldn't just sit sad inside his house, and applied for the school's call for applications. He was hired as Professor of Dramatic Arts and Dance, and inspired many students, such as Sir Gareth, who was a new student by that time, to make the drama club. Soon the abilities of the teacher Kendrick guaranteed him a permanent position, to be able to teach Drama and Language and Literature, and even become Principal. Then his children entered high school (I know usually the children don't study where the parents teach, but let's forget that for the plot).

Alex and Leonora are children of the Principal, but also one of the country's theater stars (along with their mother), so their family is loaded. They had joined the drama club too, half their interest half Sir Gareth insistence due to them being related to the "great start". Leonora loves the attention and seems to be the perfect heir to the family's drama legacy. Alex is natural too, but he prefers real action instead of fencing performances. Defend people, help others, have adventures... And Sir Gareth's infinite code of the good actor doesn't give him that.

The only thing which makes Alex jump on stage like a spring is the Black Baron. That guy has been around his sister for a while, and Alex is sure he only wants the family inheritance. It is not like Leonora is blindly in love with him, but she loves when he plays the brave lover at any romance performance (because she is obviously the female main character). Alex, in attempts to protect his sister, is always ready to get back to the stage and ruin the Baron's shenanigans.

Remember "Super Gene" ep? Then keep it in mind.

I don't think Ruby's grades are the best, so Alex invites her to participate in a performance to get extra points. The only, small and tiny problem is that Ruby is not precisely a damsel in distress.

Ruby: "Oh, Romeo, Romeo, why you- no, what-"

Alex: "No, no. Ruby, it's ''Oh, Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo?'' Let's try again."

Ruby: "Argh! I am done! I won't play the pretty princess, Alexander."

And that's how Ruby was a handsome Romeo and Alex a beautiful and husky Juliet. The only change the performance had was when Ruby refused so strongly to kiss anyone, even for a play, that she preferred to drink the potion and stab herself before keep acting.

Alien

He was the origin of the Super 4. In this AU alien is not a real animal, he is the only fantasy thing which stays the same as in the serie.

He is the, small but incredibly strong and strong for his size, fifth member of the team. None knows what creature he is, or if there are more of him (the mysterious and the furious are unknown), not even where he comes from. They protect him because they have watched too many movies to know that a new species would be used for cruel experiments or something like that. Actually they don't know and are just playing the "hide weird stuff sitcom" B series.

The first person he met was Alex, and then the origins roll like we know, but I am already working on them.

At the beginning he alternated his living quarters between Alex's house and Twinkle's, sometimes Ruby or Gene's, but when Gene ended the habitable adaptation for the Chameleon, instead of being just an all-terrain and exploration test vehicle, he added folding beds, containers, cabinets, cubicles, etc, Alien spends the night time watching over the vehicle.

A small, semi-hypothetical story for my Creatures of Fairywood Forest AU, a FOP AU where fairies are tiny, Tinkerbell-esque creatures more in line with fairy mythology both new and old.

In this story, Periwinkle, having been long since captured by Dev & Dale Dimmadome, contemplates why he doesn't just leave during a golden opportunity to do so.

Periwinkle breathed in, shaky and slow.

He, at his core, was a being that craved the outside. Just as any other fairy did. Flying through branches, snacking on flowers, resting with his back against the cool grass. Staring up at the trees, or even better - the bright blue sky.

He hadn't felt that in a while.

Even as he laid back now, with the grass and the sky he so adored, he still didn't. He was miserable. Being out here and knowing he couldn't leave… it was almost worse. It was like he had a hole in his chest, and all the joy he had managed to gather in his time being captured by the Dimmadomes was just leaking out onto the bright environment.

Why didn't he just take the opportunity now?

"So the Crimson Shin is the Crimson Chin's other clone, and he was introduced in 2009."

It would be easy enough to leave.

"Apparently they're gonna introduce him in the next movie, which I'm super excited for."

To just… go.

"He's sort of a misunderstood villain-turned-hero, so he'll probably be evil for this one, but hopefully they'll redeem him pretty quickly! I like him better as a hero."

Honestly, it was selfish to stay. He had family and friends that cared about him, who surely wanted him back home.

Periwinkle turned his head, looking at Dev, bright as a firefly. His hands moved as he talked, rambling on and on about something called 'The Crimson Chin'. A comic book and movie series, he said. Periwinkle thought that he had heard Timmy talk about something similar before, though last he heard it didn't have this much lore. It was honestly a bit overwhelming.

He seemed happy to talk, though, so Periwinkle listened.

… But, again…

It would be so easy. All he'd need is a little glamour. Drop a fake Periwinkle in his place and start flying away as Dev's lost in his ramble.

"Some people online were saying that they should introduce another character, because that trope is kinda overused."

The O-Pairs would be able to spot him through the lie, as he had already figured out. But if he used magic to sap the electricity from them, Dev wouldn't be able to know which way he went, even if he did notice.

"I dunno, I like it though…" Dev shifted his legs, pulling them closer to his body. "It's nice to think that even clones made solely to be evil can be redeemed. Y'know?"

He could do so many things. Use a powerful gust of wind to knock him over. Make the plants grow to tie him up. Start a fire that distracts them. He could use animal magic to make Dev forget! He was a powerful enough fairy to influence humans, and at this point he was sure that everyone would understand why he broke the rules!

"It'd be nice, at least," Dev sighed, ripping grass out of the ground. The O-Pair buzzed away beside him. “If that could…”

He checked his phone with one hand, mouth twitching downward. Periwinkle sat up.

"You okay, kid?"

"Yeah, I-" he yanked harder, pulling a whole wad of them out. "It's time to go. Curfew, you know. I'm sure Dad's missing me!"

He chucked the blades of grass at the ground, only seeming to get more mad when they made absolutely zero impact. Periwinkle's wings twitched.

"You- I- ugh!" Dev shoved his phone back in his pocket, with enough force that it would absolutely have ripped if it were like the leaves that adorned Periwinkle's body. "I can't- grr."

He hadn't been with the Dimmadomes for very long, but he already knew full well that Dale wouldn't be missing him at home. He never was. That's why he didn't even know about these outings, about Dev letting Periwinkle see the sun.

Periwinkle fluttered over, landing on Dev's shoulder.

"Wanna tell me more about the Crimson Chin as you walk home? Just pretend you're on one of those 'calls' or something."

Dev stared off into the distance. When Periwinkle followed his gaze, he only saw a child playing with their parent. He didn't usually regret his tiny size, but…

"Yeah, alright," Dev muttered. "Remember to hide."

"Already on it, kid," Peri said, slipping into the jacket's hood. "You were talking about the Crimson Shin in the upcoming movie?"

He felt Dev start walking as he snuggled in, movements slow.

"Uh, yeah," he said. "Yeah, so, he's definitely not my favorite, but he's one of the better ones, and that's why…"

Peri listened. That’s all he could do. Even as his mind still strayed elsewhere…

Truly, it was the perfect opportunity. Why hadn't he left?

No , RWBY is neither misogynistic nor homophobic...it is every bit the opposite

Rwby not written for the male gaze. Redesigns made by critics focus on sexualizing women.  RWBY has women show much less skin than the typical fairy tail woman. Also their clothes have pockets and pouches. Rwby is not written for the patriarchy.

So Personally I've always felt like misogyny was always made by the critics. A common thread in a lot of that group's criticisms seems to come down to not liking that some of the show's villains embody male power fantasies, and that the positive male characters it has aren't the main characters, with the female characters being a harem for them.

It's a female-centered story whose true focus is its main characters' growing and supporting each other through their weaknesses and struggles, and a lot of men can't stand it.

Rewrites and AUs focus on men, on straightwashing women, on validating edgelords, on telling women that they suck. And more importantly,  rewrites are obsessed with not letting women be right about anything or important unless they're tied to a male protagonist story.

But Rwby is about giving women roles typically held by men. Women not requiring men for authority, or guidance, but instead being men's equals. Or in the case of the female antagonists? Having mental superiority over deconstructed edgelords like Adam taurus or the "ends justify the means" deconstruction of ironwood.

They have girlfails like Cinder, who you can hate, but also admire that she keeps coming back and refusing to give up.

They have badass grannies like Maria Calavera.

They have autism-coded women.

And unlike Naruto? Women can actually WIN a 1 on 1 fight against a male opponent.

Edgelord is what incels see themselves as. Incels also see themselves as victims of women. They also see themselves as tragic,  misunderstood,  or entitled to an ego.

Adam is the example of the incel: "I was hurt by society, so I am going to make it everyone's problem! I am a hero of justice, for I am giving the world the justice it deserves! I am an underdog!"

That's how incels, conservatives, otakus see themselves.

They saw Adam as a Vergil Sparda. A dude who murders countless innocent lives for the sake of power.....who believes that power is the only thing matters. He ain't morally grey, he's evil. But he's cool, and to a lot of very emotionally immature people, coolness means morally grey or anti-villain/anti-hero. Adam was introduced trying to rob a train and blow up innocent people....people accused blake of being a murderer and trying to blow up the train, then running from adam. Adam was shown in volume 2, as a cult leader neglecting the deaths of his people. As with "Burning the candle" Yang and Blake scene, RWDE and RWBY Critics disregarded that because it ruined their headcanons of what they wanted Adam to be.

How many Adam fanfics have you seen where Blake is written as the one abusing adam?

Male abusers see themselves as victims of women.

Coffeehouse Crime, Danielle Kirsty, Eleanor Neale. Look them up on Youtube. They cover multiple cases of murderers and abusers. And the details that go into emotional and mental abuse/gaslighting? They cover them all. Including how society turns a blind eye to abuse if its not physical. Which is what Adam fans do.

Btw, if you want an example of a murderer who was an IRL abuser? Just look up OJ Simpson, who got away with both thanks to his fans.

RWBY covers emotional abuse, shows the damage it can do, and shows through Blake the recovery.

Arryn has been a victim of IRL cyberbullying from blacksun fans, BobxEliza fans, and Adam fans.

To where she's had to deactivate her social media.

Art imitates life....RWBY Critics harassing voice actresses. Though thefloofartist actually sent CRWBY gore fanart of Bumbleby and tauradonna ntr fanart, that was horrific.

Roman Torchwick is an example of charismatic sociopaths being the criminal: Society was mean to me, so I'm going to be racist, steal from the elderly, and hurt kids. Sure he has charisma as a character....does that excuse racism, calling Emerald a Street Rat, trying to rob old men, and shooting teenage girls

Jacques emotional abuse and gaslighting, something many people refuse to acknowledge unless its clearly spelled out from A to Z. One Adam taurus fan on twitter made death threats to a woman trying to explain that emotional abuse is real.

Raven is a bandit. A bandit is a killer and a thief. You don't romanticize killers and thieves. One piece paints an unrealistic view of pirates. 

Ironwood and Atlas represent the American Macho mindset and the nationalism issue Americans have. Illegally occupying foreign nations with military force as a means of "peacekeeping"? Removing leaders from power who don't respect your authority or your ideas? My way or the highway? Unwilling to compromise? Willing to work with capitalist Corporations so long as your war machine is funded? The ends justify the means? Only villains say that! Merging the police with the military to have unlimited power? Putting the good ethical cop "Marrow" under pressure and mockery? Treating the poor people as acceptable losses to cut and cutting all aid and support to the 99%? Arresting or threatening good samaritans who try to help the impoverished and underprivileged because they're not recognized by your licenses? Refusing to accept checks and balances because you see yourself as above the law and being the only one with the big picture? Seeing it as your duty to police others?

People were willing to consider Ironwood a sussy baka so long as they could consider Atlas to be like Germany. But the moment CRWBY pointed out how Atlas was too much like America? The "patriots" got furious...because it was too much like looking into a mirror, and the Ironwood fangirls did not like what they saw.

Less character bloat compared to shounen anime. Shounen has thousands of character. RWBY barely has 200. But they focus more on women's characters than men, and that upsets the Cardin fans and fanfic writers. If I had a nickel for every youtube channel that decided to make the racist incompetent bully into some "gigachad", I'd have two nickels, which isn't much, but still weird that it happened twice. Meanwhile, let a man have 3-5 minutes of screentime, the critics will say that Team RWBY don't act like the main characters. Protagonist centered morality only in shounen. Team rwby do face consequences and are forced to evaluate their decisions. The women are the protagonists, and they can spend more than 10 minutes without breaking the Bechdel test. Something that, once again, adam and cardin and jaune fanfics fail within a paragraph.

"A man and a woman can spend several seasons together and be just friends at the end"

Ichigo and Rukia from Bleach, One Piece Live Action, Naruto and Sakura from that Gay Ninja Series.

Or in RWBY's case, I'm referring Blake Belladonna and Sun Wukong

Neither showed romantic attraction towards either gender for the majority of the show. Blake and Sun's arcs in V4 and V5 were about Blake learning to accept help, and Sun learning to recognize and respect people's boundaries. Neither Blake nor Sun actually made serious advances, and simply stayed good friends. Also if lesbians cannot exist without being fan service to you, that just means you're a pervert and need to touch grass.

Anyway, whomever said that RWBY Writers have no idea how to write women need to take a look at how their critics make video after video bashing women and LGBT.

Oh, and twitter calls RWBY post v3 "pandering to tumblerinas".

puella mystery dungeon: explorers of time, am i right?

some 3am au stuff. bad sketches and info under the cut.

homura and madoka are just normal partners — madoka coming from a happy home, and homura always being vague over her past, both being previously only "backup" for much stronger/better teams. but after a tragic incident where madoka is severely hurt by a foe much too strong for any normal pokemon to handle (giratina?), let alone two eevees, homura splits off from the guild and begins to steal time gears in an effort to stop/reverse time and save madoka through looping. homura's need for strength combined with her feelings for madoka cause her to evolve while messing with time, making her even more of an outcast as she loops, being perceived as more dangerous due to not being in her "base form" like most of the guild members.

misunderstood and branded as a thief, homura still occasionally drops by the guild to issue very cryptic warnings to madoka, and is known to save guild members from stronger pokemon despite the bounty for her capture. this causes understandable confusion from said members due to this not matching her "dangerous criminal" persona, especially when she's overly kind to madoka alone.

when not stealing time gears and causing security incidents at the guild, homura attempts to defeat giratina so that madoka and other pokemon will not be forced to face it. this almost always ends in failure. in the final loop, madoka beats giratina through the power of Unbridled Compassion and evolves into a sylveon in the process, but ends up vanishing from the timeline to preserve the stability of their world.

^ these look worse bc 4am sketches, but it's meant to be the "MADOKA. DO YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE." hallway scene but with an evolved homu and a very confused mado. also, evolved mado is a sylveon — was going to be espeon but. eh. idk. they need a dual psychic/fairy eeveelution.

Legato

I feel like he'd be that nightmarish Trainer (Gym Leader?) who specializes in Psychic Pokemon.

Malamar would be his pride and joy I think! When it was an Inkay it glommed onto him and he sloooowly sorted out he "liked its company"

Prefers Pokemon to people, often violently.

Really his whole team would be designed to make the player go "Oh god oh no oh no OH NO" with each successive sending out. (Except for his Alolan Raichu, I suppose?)

By contrast, he makes excellent curry and his Pokemon all love him.

Vash:

Vash's team is all over the place! He'd be a "completes Pokedex for love" sort of Trainer, with a special fondness for the misunderstood Pokemon.

(See: his "starter" Absol, who he found injured in a ditch and cries over a lot.)

His Absol finds this a bit embarrassing but soldiers on.

That said, Vash's super-secret ace in the hole is Inteleon! >:3

He and Legato would be childhood rivals--or to be more specific, Legato would insist on challenging him all the time while Vash runs away

Belial:

I actually have an entire Pokemon AU for him and Cammy at this point that I keep meaning to burble about in full...but anyway!

Another one you'd never know what to expect from, but he does have his tastes. Dark, Poison, and Fairy for spice!

His "starter Pokemon" was a Trubbish Professor Lucilius chucked at him one day.

That Trubbish is now a very spoiled Garbador! Real "lapdog" energy, if that lapdog was also 6 feet tall and ate the burnt bits off of baking utensils.

He has two Alcremies: one Shiny named Black Forest and a rainbow flavor named Stiff Peaks, because even in this AU he has to have his innuendo. XD

That said, the Alcremies don't go into battle very often, they're his baking assistants.

Is a Pokedex completionist who always has souped-up IVs on her "crew members" (Note: I haven't looked into those yet ^^;)

She's the epitome of that mindset from Johto: "Weak Pokemon, strong Pokemon...that's only the selfish perception of people. Truly skilled trainers should try to win with her favorites."

On that note, her favorites are an Altaria named Lyria and an Appletun named Vyrn!
