Fairlake University- A University for Riverblossom Hills!

"Fairlake was founded in the 19th century to serve as a source of higher education to those living in the isolated hills. Small and lovely, this place has kept it's soul all the years" This is a custom university made for Riverblossom hills (although it could fit any rural hood), compromising of 15 lots (2 dorms, 5 residential lots and 8 community lots) and 11 characters (including some familiar names) across 4 households. Fix for broken "Break Up" Want

my first ever mod, a fix for broken maxis coding, this case being the "Break Up" want. This want is now appears in the wants panel for adults and elders sims of all aspirations, instead of not being rolled at all

Download here conflicts with any custom WantTrees package, future revision with other wants fixes coming soon

Notes: The want does not appear originally because no ages (adult, elders , teens, children etc.) are checked on the panels, and only two of the three packages have any aspirations checked (romance and family) with the third having not having ANYTHING checked, so yeah. Additional special thanks to @simnopke for finding the wants that relate to it and setting up the foundation of this mod. @lamare-sims for noticing that my dumbass uploaded the wrong thing O_O , it got lost cause this upload went through 4 revisions so far (not including the mashup with dreadpirate's want trees)

IT’S OFFICIAL! TRH Prince Andrew and Princess Jade are in a relationship

The royal palace has just confirmed that TRH Prince Andrew of Simovia and Princess Jade of Fairlake are in a committed relationship, and have been, since before the end of the war. Their royal highnesses had chosen not to announce their relationship to the public earlier as both wished to let their relationship grow in a more natural way, out of the public eye. However, it has been no secret that the Fairlake princess had been spending a lot of time in Simovia as a guest of the royal family and rumours of the two dating have been circling around for years.

In fact, many had hoped that they would already announce their engagement instead of just confirming what the public already knew. When asked about an engagement, HRH Prince Andrew looked at his girlfriend, smiling, and said “Not at this stage, but who knows... perhaps sooner than you’d think?”

Now the question remains, will the happy couple be soon moving into their own quarters. Traditionally the royal couples have lived apart until marriage, but both Prince Andrew and Prince Jade are known to break with tradition more often than not.

While questions remain unanswered, Simovians around the country were delighted to be receiving some happy news from the royal family for a change.

Sunflower Gala: The Arrivals

Today is an exciting day here in Albion. Royals from all across the world have descended to take part in Albion’s Famous Sunflower Gala. The Sunflower gala aims to help charities throughout the world in raising funds every year. This year is somewhat special though, as Princess Madeline has started up her own charity foundation to help the homeless in Carlton. The event was organised with that in mind. 

Now onto the arrivals! (Keep reading below the cut! I don’t want to cause scrolling issues)

Previous/Next

First up we have TRH Crown Princess Emeline, Duchess of Edenhal and Crown Prince Cedric, Duke of Edenhal. The two look lovely, with Emeline wearing a gorgeous sparkly yellow dress with matching hat.  @whitmoreroyals

Then not far behind is  HRM Queen Alma of Simovia and His Grace the Landgraaf van Hoensbroek. Alma is close friends to the Albion Monarchy, so it is lovely to be able to see the Queen make another appearance here!   @simoviacourt

Up next we have the lovely HRH Crown Princess Anastasia, the Duchess of Bilchester and HRH Prince Michael. The Crown Princess is wearing a gorgeous dress with stunning flower motifs, looking ever so radiant. @royalhouseofcarrington

Following we have  HIH Princess Minerva of Pierreland and His Grace Jerome, Marquis of Neuchâtel. Minerva looks striking in blue with Jerome wearing a blue waistcoat to match. @officalroyalsofpierreland

Coming up after there is  HRH The Duke and Duchess of Sherbourne @warwickroyals. The Duke and Duchess look gorgeous as they walk arm in arm down the gala’s sunflower entry. Her Royal Highness is wearing a stunning lace gown in white! 

Not long after we have The Princess royal, Princess Margeret, Duchess of Brighton and Lady Veronica. This is the duo’s first time in Albion, what an occasion to mark their first time in the country!  @theroyalsofcorrilea

Stunning the onlookers in yellow, we have HRH Crown Princess Atalanta of Pandyra and HRH Prince Jason the fourth of Pandyra @marble-and-gold

Following after we have HRH Prince Sage of Aldavia, Duchess of Aelindale and Lady Anastasia Romanov. This is also the first time the two have visited Albion, and we hope many more! @lilsysims

HRH Crown Prince Willian and HRH Crown Princess Esther of Hanover are the next to arrive. The two looking as dashing as ever as they walk hand in hand. @royalsimsofhanover

Up next we have  HRH Crown Princess Fredrika and Lord Andrew Griffin, Viscount Crowell, With matching colours, the two look impeccable as they walk towards Albion Halls. @firisle

HIM Empress Marie-Lilia of Claostein and Duchess Elsa of Envargy have also arrived! The two look amazing with Marie wearing a gorgeous red flower dress and Elsa wearing a stunning flowerily print dress with matching hat. @house-of-lebedov

Not too long after we have  HRH Princess Aroha of Sulani and Lady Kenya Weeks @simmer.meg

Following on, for their first visit to Albion is  HRH Grand Duke of Cypress and HRH Grand Duchess of Hallow Slough. The Grand Duchess looks gorgeous in a daisy blue dress and matching hat! @bridgeportbritt

Just behind we have  Princess Amelle and Princess Clementine. The two set fashion standards across Albion with a gorgeous yellow two piece and flowery dress! @evandroyals

Just when you thought we was done, more royals turn up at Albion’s event of the season! 

Next we have TRM Queen Caroline of Fairlake and King Consort George. TRM are longterm friends of the Albion Monarchy, and have often visited. We’re so glad to see them today for Madeline’s big day! @theroyalcoldwells

Behind TRM we have, Queen Lucinda Winslow of Malbry and King Consort Joshua Winslow of Cambric. This is HRH first visit to Albion, stunning the crowd in a gorgeous blue number! @the-malbry-royals

Up next we have TRH Prince Henri and Victorine, Duke and Duchess of Birmingham. TRH waved to the onlookers as everyone snapped pics of Victorine’s stunning black dress with flower accents! Such an jaw dropping outfit! @theroyalstale

Following on from TRH, we have HIM King Adonis and HRH Queen Consort Diana. Diana wore a gorgeous flowy dress that perfectly shows off her baby bump! Congratulations to the couple! @bushburyroyals 

Not far behind we have HRM Queen Francesca and HRH Prince Gabriel of Saliceau on their first visit to Albion! @sosa-royals

Bringing up the back we have Princess Oka of Shang Simlia and her husband, Prince Isuki!

Baptism of Crown prince Frederick of Véllia - part 2

After greeting and welcoming the royal guests to the event, it was time for the Véllian Queen and Prince consort to join their everyone in the cathedral. With the crown prince in her arms, Queen Alice wore a radiating smile as she walked down the aisle. While this cathedral is not the same venue the pair was married at almost one year ago, many could not help but to draw similarities between the two events. 

HRH Crown prince Frederick opened the baptism ceremony with a yawn, looking tired as he was carried by his mother. Surprisingly, he did stay awake the entire ceremony, without being any fussy. Apparently the time of the baptism was specifically chosen to coincide with the three month old’s sleeping schedule. This made some wonder if the prince was simply groggy after waking up from a nap.

Before the baptism had time to start, HRH Princess Zara and HM Queen Alice left the cathedral for unknown reasons. Probably related to Princess Zara’s condition, the two was seen asking the archbishop to wait until they came back. In the meantime many kept their eyes on the remaining royals. One moment gaining some traction was a conversation between Prince Leo and Prince Shiloh. Where the two seemed to be talking about the infant prince. Some lip readers say that Prince Shiloh made a comment about missing school, to which Prince Leo chuckled and ensured him it was okay.

The cameras also caught a conversation between HRH Crown Princess Victoria of Fairlake, HRH Princess Elise of Anya and the Imperial Princess Sakura of Byukuya. Whilst it was unknown what the three was talking about, it was clear that Princess Elise had a great interest in the foreign princess.

After a short while, HM Queen Alice and HRH Princess Zara finally returned. Quickly it became apparent that Princess Zara wasn’t feeling alright. While the queen tried to put on a pleasant smile, many couldn’t help but to look at Princess Zara, who looked miserable.  Without any further notice, the two sat down in their seats.

Soon after, the ceremony began with a sermon from Véllia’s Archbishop, Valentin Klausen. He spoke directly to the people present and watching from home, talking about the Mother’s gift of love and life. 

Usually the Véllian monarch holds their heir as a way to confirm the blood relation between the two, however, this was broken this time, as Prince Leo held the Crown prince during the sermon. While this was probably as a result of Queen Alice leaving the room, it was also a step forward for those thinking that Véllian, and Anyian, men should take a bigger part of bringing up their children.

The Véllian Archbishop also broke tradition in his preachings. Despite being a religious leader loyal to the Mother, he spoke to followers of the Father as well. He spoke of unity, strong leadership and a need of collaboration between the two followings.  This being the first time a Véllian religion leader speaks invitingly to followers of the Father, it gained a lot of attention online.

Finally, it was time for the child to be embraced by the Mother’s arms. Archbishop Klausen asked everyone to stand up in her light as a way to guide the child on his journey to be accepted by the Mother’s light. 

After a short prayer, the royal couple of Véllia walked up to the Archbishop with their son. As per tradition the Archbishop first prayed over the child, before carefully taking him into his arms and leaning him over the baptismal font.

With the blessing from the child’s parents, and from the Mother above, Archbishop Klausen bestowed the name Frederick Leo Lital, Crown prince of Véllia to the child. This affirms his position of Crown prince, but also religious figure for the Followers of the Mother. With this, Frederick made histoty by being the first Anyian blooded royal to be baptized in the name of the Mother instead of the Father.

After the ceremony was over, it was announced that the royal family invited their guests to a party celebrating their son’s birth. Before they departed some of the royals waited outside while waiting for their ride. This gave the public one more chance to get a glimpse of the future Véllian king, and his mother giving him a kiss on his head.  While Queen Alice is excepted to return to work soon, it’s unknown when both Crown prince Frederick and his father will be seen again in a royal setting.

#BelleMery Royal Wedding: Guests Arrival (Part 2)

The crowd’s cheers became louder as HRH Crown Princess Amelia arrived to the venue with her fiancé, Mr. Oliver Howard. The couple is set to wed soon and the Crown Princess recently became Queen Sofia’s maid-of-honour during her coronation. (@royaldevilliers)

Next to arrive are TRH Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Jade from Fairlake. Prince Emery and Princess Belle met during Crown Princess Victoria’s charity event and the Crown Princess is also a very close friend of Princess Belle. (@theroyalcoldwells)

Arriving to the venue in blue is HIH Margaret, Princess Imperial. The Princess’ husband, Woojin, Earl of Willingdon is Prince Emery’s best man for the wedding and the Prince is also the godfather for the Princess Imperial’s daughter. (@threesimsroyal)

Foreign Royals arrive at the Enchanted Forest: Part 1!

First to arrive are TRH Belle, Princess Royal, Princess Emilia of Summerset and HRH Princess Natalie of Daven of the Winden Territories. The ladies looked beautiful in their sparkling and floral detailed dresses. @carmichealroyals

Next to arrive are TRH Crown Princess Mary and HRH Princess Victoria Lady of Melbourne of Albion, looking like beautiful fairies out of a fairytale; followed by HM Queen Aisling and HRH Princess Niamh Princess Royal from Culloden, who are also good friends with the Elvarian Royal Family. Queen Aisling looked elegant in her blue dress, while Princess Niamh drew attention for her daring dress and bold wings. @thealbionroyals @royalsims-of-culloden.

Arriving solo and looking very regal is HRH Princess Mary, Duchess of Courland of the UK of Windenburg and San Myshuno; as well as HRH Crown Princess Genevie of Edenbrück. The Crown Princess looked radiant in her red dress. @royaltysimblr @quiddity-jones.

TRH Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Jade of Fairlake are next, followed by TIH Archduchess Atepa, Duchess of Holzgau and Archduchess Cora, Marchioness of Foxbury of the United Realm of the Federated States. The Albionite Newlyweds Go For First Engagement in Fairlake!

 After a long trip all the way from Albion, Crown Princess Mary and Prince Adrien, who are currently going on a tour through a few countries to celebrate their wedding, joined our very own Crown Princess Victoria to a short visit to the Queen Angela Gardens.

 The two princesses, who are long time friends, used their time walking through the colorful scenery to catch up, though if it hasn’t been long since they’ve seen each other.

 Even with her mother in the hospital, Crown Princess Mary smiled for the cameras and posed for pictures alongside her husband and her friend, showing her commitment to her duties as princess.

Foreign Female Guests Arrive at Willow Palace for The Queen’s Annual Tea Pary - Part 2

Arriving with the second group of foreign guests are: TRH Princess Amelia of Estenbourg and Lady Martha Montague-Cheshire, HM Queen Eleanor of Elvaria, TRH Crown Princess Emeline and Princess Katarina of Brusberg of Whitemore, TRH Princess Lucy and Amelia, the Princess Royal of Fandolin, HM Queen Eliza and HRH Crown Princess Elissa, Duchess of Bilchester of Carrington, HM Queen Aisling of Culloden and her daughter HRH Niamh, The Princess Royal, HRH Princess Jade of Fairlake, and HM Queen Emilia of Albion and her daughter HRH Crown Princess Mary.With the exception of Queen Eleanor, all the royal ladies arriving with the second group are visiting Willow Creek for the first time, and we are sure this won’t be the last!

Tomorrow, HM Queen Sofia will be hosting the Queen’s Annual Tea Party at the Willow Creek Polo Club and we’ll see a lot more of these beautiful ladies!

Foreign Royalty Arrives: Part 1! 

Close friends of the Royal Family have arrived at St. Peter’s Church. 

First to arrive was Princess Madeline of Albion (@thealbionroyals), wearing a bright floral dress and a flower in her hair as she arrived. This is the first time that the Princess has visited Carrington.

She followed by Prince Philip of Norman (@normanroyalfamily), who wore a simple morning suit for the ceremony. This is the first time the Prince has visited Carrington.

 Arriving shortly after, was Crown Princess Victoria of Fairlake ( @theroyalcoldwells), who is a close friend of the Royal Family and a godmother to Princess Sophie of Bilchester. The Crown Princess wore a dark blue dress and matching hat for the ceremony. This is the third time that the Crown Princess has visited Carrington. 

Queen Alma of Simovia ( @simoviacourt) arrived shortly after, escorted by the Landgraaf van Hoensbroek. HRM chose a lovely peach colored dress for ceremony with a matching hat. This is the third visit of Queen Alma to Carrington and the first visit of the Landgraaf van Hoensbroek. 

Following Queen Alma, came Queen Sofia and Prince Consort Darien, of Windasia ( @wa-royal-tea). The Queen, who is expecting the couple’s 3rd child, was dressed in pink for the ceremony. This is the second time that the couple have visited Carrington.
