I told myself at 4 that I'd never be able to draw. Since then I've been okay with that. I went to the library for some peace yesterday and for the FIRST time ever I decided to challenge that mindset. Someone drew an outline to a flower and my attention to not paying attention kicked in. I saw the red dry erase marker and went till it went dry. This was the most relieving thing I've done in YEARS. To be honest I had no clue what I was doing but it felt good. A thousand times better than sitting in front of a computer screen. I never got to take any art classes in school so I have a feeling what I might be spending some time on. This almost makes me feel good enough to shoot videos but that's still a stretch. It's all dry erase so it's no harm to the board. Plus everything I've ever created has been lost time and time again. I'm taking the time to appreciate my first drawing of anything outside a doodle. I took the photos after I started but the initial drawing of the flower is all the way at the end. Working on a few logo animations starting with the basics and adding more as I go. Some elements I'll have to redraw in order to animate since not all logos are formatted for it. A world without women is a world not worth living in. A world without women in power is a world that will continually decline. Of all businesses that I have seen, if it weren't for Women, I don't see how businesses could operate. It is Women, who made me who I am today. I celebrate #internationalwomensday because as a young male, it is the women who trusted me to carry out a vision; who invested in me to let me see and represent them and the world around them, in the best light. This is my first time seeing most of these because the other good portion of them were stolen and I was afraid to see what all was gone. Most were to be gifts and such as a thank you to the women who have helped keep me sane and working with me. I still have a handful of women I need to get back to and I've been working non-stop to accomplish that. Thank you to all the women in my life because you have been my biggest supporters and I really need to return the favor. Here's where two different proccesses and frame rates work. First is 8fps (original) second is 24fps (sped up) it took 260 photos to create these simple clips. I'm trying to find passion to do anything ever again. I'm trying very hard to ignite that spark that keeps getting stolen. I've at least found some solace at the Spark Space here at the @spartanburglibrary . When you have the space to create ANYTHING you can start big or small. So far I've transferred VHS tapes, done some 3d printing and even these stop motion videos. If I can allocate time everyday to this kind of break I can see myself getting back to wanting to do more once again. There's only ONE SPARTANBURG...and its for sale! At least that what that sign says. Had the best time in forever riding around on my @rideriptide R1 electric Skateboard. The speed limit downtown is mostly 15mph so at 18 I'm safely above it. I'm working on an extensive art project to bring life back into these bulbs and it gets me around the city quick. Had an exciting time riding around @clemsonuniversity on my @rideriptide R1 electric skateboard. I still use the @segwayminipro but this can't be beat for speed and stability especially outdoors. Wish it wasn't raining so I could have been out there longer. Unfortunately my camera doesn't do well in the rain like my board.
