I converted Fahrenheit to Celsius and rounded up to the first decimal place. That's why Celsius is not a perfect seamless range, but hey didn't have to do that and it was more work so it is what it is.

EDIT: I am FULLY AWARE of the transition from imperial to metric in places like England (incomplete though it may be).

This is not about people who lived through that transition, because those are not generally the people who are snobbish about it. The worst attitudes, in my experience, come from people who grew up on metric and view others as idiots for preferring something else.

"fahrenheit is better" "celsius is better" look there is an easy way to go about this. split the difference along this axis:

Fahrenheit -> You are complaining about how hot it is

Celsius -> You are complaining about how cold it is

The difference between Celsius and Fahrenheit numbers is and will always be so funny to me— like I’m a lifelong Fahrenheit user because I live in the US where we use Fahrenheit unless it’s in a scientific context in which case we use Celsius, so it’s always so funny to me when people from other countries where they use Celsius talk about it being like, 20, 30, 40 degrees and that being hot because in Fahrenheit that is so cold— like someone in a discord server I’m in just said that it’s 32 degrees C where they are and I feel so bad but also I just wanna laugh because obviously that’s really hot for them but 32 degrees F is LITERALLY the freezing point of water.
