So more HC Cater fanart. I HC he half fae and descended from a thought to be extinct like of fae royalty from Pyroxene, I titled House Serpentes. (And is a winged serpent.) So here is some art I did when he takes on some more fae traits for the first time. I'll probably write up an explanation after my convention this week, but the fics my HC primarily take place in are The Queen’s Court and Enchanted you can find links to in my about me pinned post.

Finally finished this piece of my dragons Rimaye (mirror), Luther (tundra), Quigley (imperial), Diamond (fae), Vigenere (pearlcatcher), and Sunrise (baby imperial). 

It’s based on the idea of my lore as a TV show, featuring the adventures and misadventures of Acuity Ridge Clan as they banded together to face the shifting elements. My thought was that this would be the final shot of the theme song, and as the clan grew the other members would be added. I’m not brave enough to try and draw a version with 23 dragons, though!

Faerie Diamonds

Faerie-enchanted diamonds have long captivated dreamers, gem aficionados, and storytellers. People believe that these legendary gemstones infuse the magic of the fae, ethereal creatures renowned for their association with nature, mystery, and the paranormal. Others assert that the diamonds are faerie spell containers that can grant wishes to deserving people or heal wounds and broken hearts. These gifts are frequently contradictory, though, as faerie power is notoriously erratic. A faerie-enchanted gem could fulfill a wish, but unexpected repercussions could turn it into a curse. This dualism reflects the erratic and morally dubious nature of the fairies themselves. Many people have sought out faerie-enchanted gems due to their attraction, but there are numerous cautionary stories about the risks involved. Folklore warns against treating these jewels lightly due to their close ties to the fairies and their world. The designers of faerie-enchanted diamonds are known to take harsh revenge on those who steal or abuse their gifts; thus, stealing one would be tantamount to inviting their wrath. Their existence in fiction, literature, and the arts is a reflection of people's constant want to engage with the unknown and the fantastic. These gemstones serve as a reminder of the delicate balance between the mystical and the everyday, symbolizing the beauty and danger of the fae. Some people view them as the ultimate treasure, a tangible representation of mystery and enchantment that goes beyond the bounds of nature. Others view them as a warning symbol, alerting people to the perils of avarice and the arrogance of tampering with forces that are beyond human understanding. In the end, faerie-enchanted diamonds originate from both the imagination and the ages-old folklore. They capture the essence of the unknown and are not only beautiful or powerful objects; they are also reflections of our innermost fears and ambitions. Not really, actually! She was a popular girl, had a lot of friends and dated later in her life, but she never had a crush on anyone she grew up with ( unless you count AUs )

P   :   PARTNER. what does your muse look for in a partner? looks / personality?

She likes 'em TALL. Very tall, if possible. She has a preference for men, but goes both ways, all the way teehee

In general, as far as personality goes, she loves flirting with (annoying) whoever seems the most flustered and/or irritated by her antics. When it comes to actual relationships, I do not think she would be able to date anyone who was not absolutely DOWN BAD for her. Also, while she will allow her partner to take the lead occasionally, she much more prefers timid and calm characters, and if not that, at the VERY least her significant other should know who's boss. Which is always her. Just sayin' 😉✨

A   :   AFFECTION. how does your muse show affection?

She is a yapper, so words of affirmations and sweet nothings are a lot more common for her to display affection; however, she very much is a cuddle-bug as well, she WILL seek out physical contact whenever possible, he it holding hands, cuddles or little kisses.

A great way to fluster her date and/or potential partner, too!!

R   :   ROMANCE.   is your muse a romantic or a cynic?

A bit of both; she loves romance as a concept, but does not believe she was made out for a relationship, regarding herself too volatile and prone to bouts of fancy to remain rooted in place with a partner. She is a huge flirt and falls in love FAR easier than she would ever care to admit, while at the same time keeping people at arm's length, having convinced herself that she does not ACTUALLY care for the folks she fancies ALL that much. Obviously. Not enough to make an EFFORT for them, in any case.

After all, they would never do the same for HER

K   :   KISS.   is your muse a good kisser? why / why not?

Oh yeah, absolutely. She has had more than enough practice, over the years, she prides herself on her seductive abilities, and kisses are, obviously, part of the picture💕

Valentine's Day Alphabet

One of the most powerful of the noble houses of The Reach, House Bridgerton is among the oldest and proudest of the great houses.

House Bridgerton’s seat is in Aubrey Hall. The land is known to be the most fertile and abundant among the lands in The Reach. It is most known for its blossoming wisteria flowers and bountiful produce. 

House Bridgerton's sigil is a Wisteria flower on a Wedgwood blue field, and their words are "Together in Bloom."

Descendants of House Bridgerton are known for their chesnut, almost auburn coloured hair and either sapphire or emerald eyes. It is said that starlight itself is captured in the glint of their eyes. They are often clothed in the house’s colour: Wedgwood Blue.

The Bridgertons possess fae blood and are fae-like in their movements. Their skin glows faintly in the dark and glistens under the sun. They are light-footed and it is near impossible to hear their footsteps. Each Bridgerton sibling possesses a magical touch on all living things; plants, animals, flowers, making them healthier and yield more bloom. This is why Aubrey Hall is the most monetarily abundant seat in The Reach. Their loyalty is highly valued by the Tyrell's.

Their power is derived from the health of the land. As long as they are powerful, the land will thrive. If one of them is severely injured or dying, the land will wither.

The eldest Bridgerton daughter, Daphne, is rumored to be the most beautiful of all the children, with her chestnut hair curled in ringlets and her sapphire eyes coated in starlight; possessing an otherworldly beauty. She was kept hidden by her elder brother, Anthony, in Aubrey Hall until she was of marriageable age. Upon her debut she was called ‘The Diamond of The Reach’ due to her star-like quality. Suitors were quick to court her. Rumors of Daphne were quick to reach King’s Landing.

Herkimer Diamonds were first discovered in the 18th century in New York state and has since become known as the “Stone of Attunement”. Herkimer diamonds are capable of opening up the third eye and crown chakra and can increase your spiritual energy.

Referred to as “mermaid tears”, pearls are my favorite bits of sparkle to work with. These freshwater druzy rosebud pearls come in colors ranging from purple-gray to bright and soft pink. 

These handmade glass beads come all the way from an artisan in Japan!

These earrings were made by my hand with loving care. Each crystal, pearl, and bead was selected intuitively!  They’re for sale on my KoFi if you like them :)

Character design project: Fae.

Lake is Quigley and Stormfall’s daughter; she’s been unable to fly since birth, and was breed-changed into a Fae in an attempt to change that. (It didn’t work, but did make her the right size to ride a Greatowl.) Hollyhock was found as an egg and adopted by Acuity Ridge’s Aberrations. Blackbird is Crow’s daughter, and best friends with Lissy and Glacee. Diamond is one of Acuity Ridge Clan’s founding members and their primary diplomat.
