"That's Why Water Is So Important" - Short Story For Reflecting

This is a short story, whose name and author are completely unknown but has a great message. It shows how saving water is something that not only one person should do but a whole community. It is the story of a child, who realized that saving water is really important. The child tries to make the village realize that this was important and show them ways to do it correctly, because the village started to waste the water they had. The author tries to show us what would happen if we keep using water in an irresponsible way.  This is the clear example, since people may not care now, but when it starts to affect them directly they will start to do what they should have done a long time ago. There are many things a community can do to save water, like reducing the amount they use or use it for essential and important things like drinking or eating instead of washing clothes and watering plants constantly. To conclude, this is a short work and not too popular, but shows the reality of how people would act in these types of situations. So we must react before it is too late for us, because in real life this situation won't be fixed that easy.
