Prison Duo as a battle couple with unconventional weapons

Icarus with their trident, fighting style reliant on speed and agility, vs Centross with his scythe, reliant on brute force and skill. They cover each other's weaknesses and rely on each other's strengths.

Think about it. Icarus takes off to recover, and Centross gets to just destroy a swath of enemies, which clears the battlefield for Icarus to land. Icarus being able to target anyone who escapes Centross' notices, watching his 6. Even the trident v scythe - tridents are used to catch and control, rarely to actually strike the killing blow, but scythes are excellent against restrained opponents.

Originally started out as an idea to have Icarus and Rae half and half and then I realized that oh hey, Athena's also there, and deserves to be drawn! overall happier with this than the original version!

So the likely hood of Icarus Morningstar reading Gone by Michael Grant is not impossible and probably way more likely then we think-

I am personally of the opinion that when violet teleported to icarus during the finale, that should've been immediately followed by icarus either hugging him or kissing the shit out of him

Characters: Icarus & Ven Spoliers for Grave Mistake This one is a lot shorter than most and also my first time writing ship stuff in a really long time but have wetbirds kiss, but still be tragic

Icarus and Ven are in the hallway, Icarus knows they are alone now with their father and this is the best option for Ven. Even if they wished for him to stay, wished that the one truly good thing that comes out of this base, this group doesn't leave them. But they understand.

But it doesn't stop it from hurting as Ven walks to the exit.

"I kind of wish we could have been something" Ven spoke the weight of all he has learn present in his voice.

"Wait!" Before Icarus even knew what they were doing they ran up to him. "If-if we could be something then-" They pulled Ven closed and kissed him on the lip. His lips were soft was the first thing that Icarus noted. The second was that Ven was pulling away from their embrace and that it was him who deepen it. Icarus was the one to leave it, slightly embarrassed but content.

"I-i'm sorry, I should have asked, and not just done that, but your leaving and-" It was Ven who kissed them going slightly on his tippy toes to reach their mouth.

"It's alright Icarus, I just wished we could of had this for longer" Tears went down both of their faces.

"Yeah… Stay safe out there."

"I will, Bye Icarus"

"Bye, Ven." And now they truly were alone.

Thinking about how in the most recent cutscene we only see Icarus yellow eye in it and the parallels to then Fable in the same cutscene

Thinking abt how icarus wound is so clearly draining their strength, making even the most natural of things to them *painful*

Thinking abt how if you wanted to make everything even worse, icarus could've been *physically unable* to *fight* those last few days, yet pushed through that anyways bc fable asked them to. How flying back and forth from spawn to home *that* many times in so *few* days probably *destroyed* their body. How even though there is *no* way their body doesn't look *wrecked* and yet *nobody* says anything about it.

The fact that Icarus has been getting more and more injuries this season, is so silly.

Cause in season 1 there's the prison scar they have from Centross.

Season 2 had no major notable scars or injuries for them.

But season 3 we got their wings being shattered, falling and hurting their legs, what ever the fuck fable did to their chest, being hit by lightning and finally today where they got blown up by their cousin.

And it's probably cause Fable isn't in purgatory to rip as it is.

They should not have let me, a writer who enjoys putting characters through trauma, take a first aid class.

In other news, did you know long falls have the tendency to cause injuries to the upper spine?

And totally unrelated to either of those statements, did you know Icarus took a long fall very soon after receiving heavy back trauma?
