I have a confession yall.... I have never play the first Fable. Fake fan I know, but I used to barrow my copy of Fable 3 from a old friend until I downloaded it from the Xbox 360 store but its shut down now. I got my copy of fable 2 with my 2nd Xbox 360. :(

All the discourse surrounding the Fable 4/reboot trailer doesn't bother me because I've been a fan since Fable 2. Anyone in the fandom from those years remembers people constantly bashing 2 for not being as good as 1, then 3 for not being good as 2, then The Journey for a gameplay shift that's nothing similar to 3, and Legends for not continuing The Journey's story and having another gameplay shift.

Every Fable fan wears nostalgia goggles, some just wear them tighter than most, hence the endless bashing of whatever game comes out most recently.

I've had thise book for aaaages and its absolutley gorgeous to look through, but i only go through a few pages at a time because i makes me so sad to read it. Its full of interviews and quotes and rough schetches and thought proceses and so much love for what they were creating bleeding through the pages that knowing their ending overwhelmes me sometimes.

I like the idea that hyrule+lorule have different cultures and sometimes there’s a lil cultural shock between the hyrule duo and the lorule duo

anyway, lorule’s way of greeting people is via hand kissing, which clashes with hyrule’s more hands off way of greeting
