because I sure as hell lost my mind about that last second position swap! Lando going against team orders and letting Oscar win was so not on my bingo card. I didn't think I could love them even more and yet here we are.

The stupid thing about the whole Sprint Race saga is that F1 has 3 feeder series, and if they invested money and time into boosting interest for them, they have a ready made solution to increasing interest on a Saturday without increasing the pressure on the teams and drivers each sprint weekend.

god well that was a chaotic sprint race. 3 safety cars; hulk, checo, sargent, lawson and ocon dnf; alex from p17 to p8 for a point (this is before charles track limit investigations are finalised); lewis from p12 to p3; max 3rd wdc; oscar first race win.

like oh boy checo is going to be sweating after that. this is not what he wanted nor what he needed. poor oscar tho with his first win being overshadowed by the wdc.

ALSO NICO ROSBERG I WANT TO STUDY YOUR BRAIN STRUCTURE. playing the mind games even while retired, saying to lando about how the car is obviously race winning. I'd say go to therapy but please don't, the trauma is entertaining (poor lando tho lmfao)
