Upon hearing about Oscar’s contract renewal, the reality of their future together starts to sink in. Realizing he’s going to be alongside him for quite some time, Lando decides to now make it his mission to become even closer to the young Australian. Not just as a teammate, but as a friend. The idea seems simple enough, after all, he’s never had trouble becoming friends with his teammates in the past, but Lando finds himself drawn to Oscar in ways he can’t quite understand.

Oscar isn’t the same wide-eyed rookie who stepped into his life months ago, he’s more confident, more bold and getting increasingly more comfortable around Lando. But the older boy has to wrestle with certain thoughts whenever Oscar so much as smiles in his direction. Lando realizes his affection for Oscar might be evolving into something he never anticipated. And now he struggles to discern where the line between friendship and something deeper lies.

Some stuff about me:

So, my name is Dolly (you knew that), and I’m a panromantic asexual person. My gender is… weird (😂), because really I think gender is an odd social construct and I don’t really care what people refer to me as. I’m also autistic, and some of my special interests include musical theatre, books, true crime, superheroes, and mythology of all different kinds and cultures. I don’t get the opportunity to talk about my special interests a lot, but once I do, you’ll have a hard time getting me to stop talking.

As for hobbies, I spend most of my time either reading or writing fanfiction (and sometimes original short stories), listening to music, and watching movies or TV shows. I mostly like all kinds of music, but I’m not really the biggest fan of rap. I’m also really into true crime podcasts, and I have a love for older TV shows, such as M*A*S*H and The A-Team, as well as all the Marvel and DC movies and TV shows. I’m also a pretty decent singer, at least depending on who you ask. I really love books, and my ultimate career goal is to be a librarian (although if you asked me my absolute dream job, the answer would be a voice actor). I’m also a half-decent singer, at least depending on who you ask.

Personality-wise, I kind of cycle between being bubbly and cheerful and quieter and shyer (a textbook ambivert, me), but no matter what, I always do my best to be a good listener and to make my friends (which includes you!!) happy, because I am very loyal and I love them a lot.

I absolutely love sports ( watching and playing ) with my favs being football/soccer , baseball and volleyball , reading , journaling , anything that has to do with cooking and baking (it calms me down and I see it as one of my love languages) and long car rides. Also I'm a nerd for anything that has to do with linguistics (I'm fluent in 6 languages , a couple of dialects and 2 dead languages) , math and the occult (im the designated tarot , coffee and card reader in my friend group). I think my friends would mostly describe me as extroverted and talkative , funny , chaotic and definitely loyal to a fault.

omg okay, it didn't take me long at all to decide this but i think i'm going to ship you with lewis hamilton! although capricorn's are known for being very serious (which you can definitely see in lewis as he's getting older), i think from the sounds of it, you could really bring out the fun/youth side of him? he would admire what you're studying - i could see him being a bit of an art or history buff? like would take you to every art museum he could think of, would find historical sites in any country the two of you visit to try and make you happy? he would watch AND play any sport with you as well, he's obviously an active person, but i can def see him relaxing at home with you on a weekend when he's not racing and enjoying whatever game you guys throw on the television! he would sooo encourage you to learn all the vegan recipes for him (purely for selfish reasons). and would be so interested in all the languages you know?? he's the type to ask you to speak to him in a different language and just sit there patiently waiting (which also thats so cool????). he's definitely an extrovert, and i could see you guys really balancing each other well!!
