being into stories that releases chapters very very slowly is generally the place where no matter what you theorize linked to the chapters it's not like you're going to get an answer anytime soon if you're right or wrong so you kinda live with it in the background of your life, but therefore you REALLY don't expect when 10 YEARS after you made very lengthy far fetched theories you yourself considered to be insane reaches, they end up going "WELL WHAT IF YOU WERE CORRECT. ALMOST :)" GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Thoughts about Nea, past!Allen and the next chapter
long post, spoilers under the cut
Okay so I've always wondered why Nea gave up on Allen as his ally so quickly. Allen was one of his closest allies besides Cross and Tim till the time of his death right? He even gave up his body so Nea could execute his masterplan.
Yes, Allen did lose all his memories(or did he?) and somehow ended up in the Black Order. But we know Nea can show him his memories so he should also technically be able to show him past!Allen memories that were locked away? Or atleast memories of himself with past!Allen?
Allen would definitely be torn and overwhelmed and confused after but everyone who has known the "other side of the war" has taken Nea's side so far. And Allen even went so far as to become Nea's vessel in the past. He would definitely take his old friend's side again right? Or even seek out some sort of a middle ground?
Tumblr media
Why didn't he do that then? Nea watched all of his memories since Cross started tailing him and Mana. Wouldn't it be easier to have Allen half-cooperate during the little time he has left, instead of having him actively work against him?
Tumblr media
There's so much emotion in this one panel here. Confusion, worry, pain, anger, desolation, and maybe even a hint of guilt?
Its like... he just didn't wanna disturb the little equilibrium Allen had managed to create in his life? The little community he had found in the Black Order?
I mean if we think abt it Nea never really wanted to parasitize Allen in the first place(or atleast that's what I think the evidence so far implies). It was just the only option available to them back then. They needed Nea's powers to thwart the Earl & the Noahs' plans. And if Nea died then the Earl would just absorb(?) him and there would be no stopping him after that.
And I think giving up on Allen as an ally was Nea's way of being kind to him. Of returning the favour. Being his ally isn't an easy or pleasant job from what we've seen so far. And Allen would've disappeared anyway from the moment past!Allen transferred Nea's memories to himself. After seeing his attachment to the Order and the friends he made there, maybe he just wanted Allen to disappear with pleasant memories he made at the Order rather than the gruesome memories of being Nea's ally.
Tumblr media
This panel in particular is so sad. He was able to give up on Allen as an ally so easily because he still had Tim. Tim was his last remaining ally and then he wasn't. And its particularly cruel how Hoshino pulled this off. He says that he doesn't need anyone else as long as he has Tim and just a few chapters later Apocryphos kills him. Nea must be used to losing allies by now but Tim really was the last real friend he had left(hoshino you cruel cruel woman)
Tumblr media
Also the way Link's just bomb dropped the news abt tim?
Imagine hearing your last friend/ally died from some rando and then not even getting the time to process it because your arch enemy's ressurection shows up and somehow has your face? And then you get yeeted back into brain breakroom just as you were about to start beefing with him and the next time you wake up you're in your childhood home which you have mixed, complicated feelings for.
And that's not even getting into the whole 'tim chose allen over nea' thing.
Also if Allen goes back to the mansion and finds Bookman, he's guaranteed to find out atleast part of his past if not the whole. And he would definitely demand to know more from Nea. Will he accept Allen as his ally again now that Tim is gone? Will he accept Link as well? Will he try to kill Johnny again? Will he even be stable enough to consider future plans? Will we ever see Lavi again? We find out next month :D
Or we don't
(I also have a theory abt the Bookmen having the ability to transfer memories but that one's for another time)
Thanks for reading!!!

today's [ although the day has almost ended ] [28th] marked my first year anniversary of the dgm/exorcist au! I'm kinda glad I haven't given up on this au even though it has rotten my brain with some dark content I make with my own mind...
Tumblr media
[ This piece will forever be my greatest accidental achievement...posted this on Twitter for the 3 yrs of the lads collaboration, barely posted on that site, and um haha...someone in the group liked it...]
Anyway, I will be writing more of the au right at the moment...even though chapter 7 is a bit depressing to write...

Not me dgm posting in 2024 2025, but pet peeve of mine is when people draw the Noah's with like, brown skin lmfao. I know sometimes Hoshino herself will color them with warmer toned greys, and the Hallow anime (my beloathed) basically straight up colored them brown, but I do kind of have a big issue with the villains of the series (no matter how much the series explores grey morality on both the Noah and Dark Order sides of the equation) all magically being brown skinned L M F A O.
They were explicitly grey-skinned in the original anime and Hoshino has always depicted them with grey skin too. It also adds to the whole superhuman nature of the Noah's by giving them a skin tone that isn't natural to humans.
So yeah, whenever people draw them with straight up brown skin, I simply can't help but side-eye.

Carton industry continues to grow in India and globally
Tumblr media
According to current research reports, the global carton industry is forecast to grow at a CAGR of 5% till 2033 to US$ 7.7 billion from the 2023 figure of US$ 4.7 billion. In India we see growth coming from eCommerce, food and beverages, FMCG, household products, and white goods. The variety of cartons keeps increasing from the simple monocarton, liquid packaging laminates, solid board luxury boxes, litho-laminated corrugated cartons and plain and white or bleached liner corrugated cartons. The litho-laminated e, f, and g-flute or micro-fluted cartons that incorporate recycled liners are seen as an economical solution providing a combination of better compression and protection while retaining their stand-out value on the shelf.
There is a perception that paper-based packaging or cartons are more sustainable than flexible packaging and there is some movement in this direction in the country too – although some of the special papers and coatings required to create barrier properties are not yet locally available as off-the-shelf inputs. Additionally, some of the uses of these cartons with barrier properties come from start-ups, niche and boutique products with volumes too low to justify the procurement and logistics costs of importing specialty papers.
Notably, Jitendra Rohilla of Komori India says, “Right now, many of our 6 and 7-color automated offset press installations are taking place at packaging converters as that industry is growing and will continue to grow. There are multiple factors for this growth including our small packaging consumption per capita, and the increasing wealth, young population, and the increasing focus on hygiene and shelf impact and shelf life.”
Venugopal Menon of Bobst India points out that the growth in packaging machinery is now driven by automation. He attributes the current growth to an increasing number of converters seeking automation solutions. Discussing Bobst Inda's performance in 2023, Menon noted that except for the corrugated segment, the company witnessed positive outcomes across the folding carton, flexible, and label segments. “We hope that the investment cycle in the corrugated board cycle will come back in 2024.”
In light of the changing needs of carton converters globally, Bobst has recently enhanced the automation and connectivity of its folder gluer portfolio by introducing a new generation of Expertfold, Visionfold, and Novafold machines.
TCPL, a packaging converter that produces both cartons and flexible packaging, recently entered the rigid box segment after acquiring a 100% stake in Creative Offset in late 2023. It commissioned three Zhongke automatic rigid box-making lines for manufacturing rigid and luxury boxes for mobile phones, smart watches, wearables, and the speciality gift packaging segment. Stating India has a lot of cell phone manufacturers and exporters, Pooja Rajpal, director of Zhongke India comments that business is good in India since the cellphone technology is changing fast, and everybody wants the latest phones – and the manufacturers need boxes for these.
One could see some of the impetus or energy in the local carton industry at Pamex 2024 in Mumbai, where companies like Komori, DGM, Bobst, and others announced several deals at the show. DGM India announced ten deals for its die-cutters, folder gluers, and flute laminators at Pamex. This businesslike optimism persists even in the face of currently flat top-line growth among converters because of the benign price of raw materials. While converted carton tonnage has increased in the past year, the soft prices of paperboard have led to modest increases in top-line revenues.
While research reports forecast a carton industry boom in the coming decade, the Asia Pacific region is emerging as a particularly lucrative market due to its high population, rapid industrialization and increasing consumer goods demand. Compact, modular and increasingly automated cartoning machines with quick changeover capabilities will gain traction with the need for flexibility and adaptability in handling diverse product lines.

So the idea is from my dgm au and I'm making a corrupted version of rt and of course, I'm deranged while drawing this piece itself, but the eyes are being difficult to choose, so here's the reference and the eyes.
