Dear tumblr selfship community, I need your opinions on something. Do you consider it “wrong” or “weird” for an adult selfshipper to have a romantic f/o without a canon age?

Additional context on the situation: the adult in question is 19 and the character has been canonically described as a “teenager”. No additional canon information has been given regarding that character’s age. The character is employed and has been shown to be working the same job for at least one year. A significant portion of the fandom this character is from portrays them as being 16. The adult headcanons the character to be 18-19.

"I'm not a selfship blog, but I post selfship and tag the source!" Always pick the highest number in this case. The fact you tagged source means you've exposed yourself to a wider audience—hence u're more public than if you just posted selfship w/o source tag.

So if you have 0 online presence for selfship (0-1), but you carry selfship merch around (9), and decorate your Texting Profile with selfship (3), you pick the highest one. 9!

"What's the difference between 3 & 4?" If you don't state the person in the art kissing your F/O is you, then it's up for interpretation. Could be another canon character for all they know, ykwim? :3c
