Darkside Disney Princesses: Tiana

Guys, I'm so sorry I meant to write out a whole thing for Tiana too cuz I love her (heck yeah, Lousiana gals) but Real Life threw another wrench my way and atm I'm too tired to do writing, so this also might be the last Darkside Disney Princess :(

But my basic idea was that instead of Charlotte taking her aside when she trips at the party after hearing she doesn't get the restaurant after all, Charlotte is distracted by the faux Prince Naveeen and so Dr. Facilier, seeing a desperate soul and never one to pass up an opportunity for a deal, swoops in, takes Tiana aside and starts laying out his whole sales pitch.

And Tiana is angry and tired and feeling humilated enough to make a deal. Hard work hasn't seemed to get her anything but emptiness and disappointed in the end, maybe it is ok for her to use an easy out. Just once.

She doesn't outright wish for the other buyer to die of course, she doesn't want that. She just wants them to be unable to outbide her on the property.

But voodoo dolls are just so convenient for the good doctor.

And so then, of course, she's in his pocket. The guilt over inadvertently causing a man's death and then benefiting from it, is ripe stuff for blackmail, plus once you make one deal, it's so easy to make another amd another whenever things start to look prickly. Plenty of people in Louisiana arn't happy about a black woman running a major business, and are willing to cause trouble in all sorts of ways.

And having some untraceable trouble come back their way is just so much faster--and satisfying--then trying to fight back clean.

Of course its not all bumping off bigots and bad critics. The good doctor knows so many well connected clients who'd be willing to help the restaurant out in less magical but equally prosperous ways--in exchange for some favors here and there, some permanent table seats shall we say? Use of a backroom or account book here or there.

After a while, it just becomes more expident to have the good doctor on the premises, a permanent background fixture at the increasingly high-end restaurant, with its increasingly shady bunch of wealthysharing his skills with so many of Tiana's willing patrons.

Between his front there and his puppet prince Laurence splashing his now orphaned wife's cash towards him whenever he needs, Dr Facilier's doing more than alright for himself. At this rate, with all the souls he's collecting, he'll be paying off his debts in no time. What Lousiana (and Tiana herself) looks like with all this voodoo and increased shady dealings...well, thankfully, that's just the Darkside verse's problem...

And I know: duh, is Orianna! But is she the original? Let me elaborate:

For those who don't know, old LoL champions used to have a completely different story.

In the first version of the Orianna story, the girl died and the champ in the game was a robot her dad created for her daughter's dreams to be fulfilled by it.

Then, is was rewritten to the one most know now: the Reveck girl who got sick after going to Zaun to help and whose body had to be replaced piece by piece until she became a machine.

Were there any bodies left behind? I might need to re watch. I was holding myself pretty good until I saw my girl on screen in all of her mechanic beauty. Then I ugly cried

My question is, what story could we be seeing here? Could it be that Viktor got Orianna's conscience in one those porcelain-like robots before going to the fight? Or was it Singed who dragged one of the robots and created a body for his daughter or even a new daughter from scratch once he lost hope of getting Viktor's help after finding out he's... 'gone'?

I could really use some help getting some answers here.

Alright, alright, enough going on about myself (Although I’m an admittedly pretty interesting topic). I should get on to the juicy content you’ve probably been waiting for!

I know you two talk every day but Button doesn’t even think to add all the important details about themselves. Like, for example, how they stole my motorcycle for themselves a few months ago and almost immediately started working on it. 

Sure, I might not use it at all, but I’m 80% certain I’m the one still paying insurance. And before you say anything, don’t worry Mom, I always make sure that they put on their helmet before they go crazy.

Aside from calling me Saint Nick, Jayce’s also gotten into the habit of calling me “Little” brother ever since they hit their growth spurt- just because they’re a few inches taller. He’s also insistent that he’s the more attractive one out of the two of us since he’s a little bulkier and has tattoos and piercings.

“People like tattoos,” He insists.

Oh! There was also this one night I was working late at Aeon so I told Button ‘bout where the leftovers were in the fridge.

Get this though, it’s the sweetest thing ever- and most definitely something Jayce hasn’t told you- but I came home and my little bro was asleep on the couch. More importantly, he made dinner! 

I’m wiping away a fake tear as I write this, just wanted you to know, Mom.

It’s getting late though and we’ve only got a week till Button has their first day at Unity, so I should go get started on dinner and keep Jayce all fueled up, especially when they’ve been busy taking their worries out on poor punching bags at the kickboxing center downtown.

Vecinos del Mariano Matamoros en Tijuana reportaron a TV Azteca Baja California el humo fétido que expide una funeraria, asegurando que el mal olor es constante y temen que les traiga consecuencias a su salud.

¿Qué dijeron los vecinos sobre el humo emitido por una funeraria en Tijuana?

Los colonos del Mariano Matamoros aseguran que les afecta demasiado porque no pueden abrir ventanas y puertas de sus hogares, ya que no saben cuándo comenzarán los olores.

Aseguran que es un “olor asqueroso”, y desconocen si es debido a los químicos utilizados para la cremación de cuerpos.

¿Qué dicen las autoridades sobre el humo fétido de una funeraria en Tijuana?

Vecinos aseguran haberse acercado con autoridades municipales para que den solución a este tema, sin embargo no han tenido respuesta.

Piden cobros justos a grupos vulnerables en Registro Civil

CHILPANCINGO * Marzo 31, 2025 ) LXIV Legislatura | Guerrero La diputada Ana Lilia Botello Figueroa presentó una iniciativa de reformas y derogaciones a las leyes de Hacienda y del Registro Civil del Estado para que se eliminen los costos excesivos y se facilite el acceso a la corrección, aclaración o rectificación de actas del Registro Civil a personas de grupos vulnerables y de escasos recursos, trasladando la facultad de realizarlo a las oficialías municipales correspondientes para evitar que los solicitantes se desplacen hasta Chilpancingo. La diputada integrante del Grupo Parlamentario de Morena dijo que esta propuesta lleva un amplio sentido social porque recurrentemente la ciudadanía se ve en la necesidad de ir a la Coordinación Técnica del Sistema Estatal del Registro Civil para realizar la corrección y/o aclaración administrativa de sus documentos de identidad ante un error ortográfico, falta de algún dato, su nombre no concuerda con la forma con la que se conoce o ha realizado trámites, no existe su lugar de nacimiento, entre otros. Consideró que este tipo de trámites son engorrosos y costosos para los interesados porque no solo es el pago a la dependencia, también los gastos de traslado, comida y hasta hospedaje cuando lo realiza de manera directa la persona interesada, o en el caso de hacer uso de apoderados y/o gestores se les pagan sus honorarios, lo que se convierte en un gasto excesivo, principalmente en quienes se encuentran en una situación de vulnerabilidad. Por eso, plantea reformas y derogaciones a las Leyes de Hacienda y del Registro Civil del Estado en favor de las personas integrantes de los grupos vulnerables, así como a personas adultas mayores de escasos recursos, en cuyo caso las constancias de pobreza puedan ser extendidas por la autoridad municipal o la persona comisaria de su localidad, ya que son ellas quienes conocen de manera directa a las personas y su situación socioeconómica. También propone establecer por ley que el trámite a través de un apoderado legal sea de manera excepcional y, en caso de hacerlo, que se realice a través de un Poder legal en donde se incluya una cláusula que señale que no se está pagando cantidad alguna al representante por el trámite a realizar. Por otro lado, sobre la Constancia de Inexistencia en el Registro Estatal de Deudores Alimentarios, que se requiere principalmente para contraer matrimonio, y que actualmente la expide la Coordinación Técnica del Sistema Estatal del Registro Civil, se propone que esta instancia establezca los mecanismos de colaboración necesarios para facultar a las Oficialías del Registro Civil municipales para proporcionar dicho documento con el propósito de seguir apoyando la simplicidad de trámites y evitar gastos excesivos de los solicitantes, y la vez, fortalecer la relación institucional y de simplificación administrativa.
